From Hollywood to Cannes, the past 24 hours have been packed with plenty of celebrity sightings.

Britney Spears stepped out in her casual best as she ran errands in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The 31-year-old singer, whose latest song leaked on Friday, was joined by her adorable pet pooch, who donned a pink outfit for the day.

Elsewhere in sunny California, Mark Wahlberg was all smiles on the set of his new film 2 Guns. The actor has been doing reshoots for the new bromance cop film, co-starring Denzel Washington.

On the east coast, Jane Lynch performed in “Annie the Musical” on Broadway, Drake relaxed poolside in Miami and Matt Bomer suited up for USA Network’s Upfronts event in the Big Apple.

At the Cannes Film Festival, Liv Tyler attended a photocall for Magnum while Nicole Kidman and Naomie Harris celebrated all things women and film at a Calvin Klein event.

Another day, another set of famous faces spotted on the Anchorman: The Legend Continues set. This time it’s Kirsten Dunst and Jim Carrey.

The film, which will reunite original Anchorman stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Christina Applegate and David Koechner, has been filming a fight scene all week in Atlanta’s Woodruff Park. A nod to the famous fight scene in the first movie, this fight will apparently feature cameos from every single actor in Hollywood. Already this week Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Sacha Baron Cohen and Kanye West have been spotted on set — all dressed as news anchors. It appears that Carrey will also appear as a newscaster, while Dunst looks to be playing an angel who appears on a rooftop nearby.

Yesterday’s shoot was a mini-reunion for Dunst and Carrey, who co-starred in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind together.

Also set to star in the highly anticipated sequel are John C. Reilly, Nicole Kidman, James Marsden, Kristen Wiig, Harrison Ford, Will Smith and Liam Neeson. The sheer mass of cameos in Anchorman 2 make it like Hollywood’s version of a high school reunion, reuniting cast members from Mean Girls, Walk Hard, Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock and K-19: The Widowmaker.

Last September, Koechner told Celebuzz exclusively that the movie’s premise centers around the advent of the 24-hour cable news network. The film is expected to hit theaters this December.

At just 15, Jaden Smith is set to become a big star. He’s already starred in a major film franchise, The Karate Kid and recorded a song with Justin Bieber, “Never Say Never.” This summer, he’s co-headlining the expected blockbuster After Earth with father Will Smith. And now, a famous bestie to go with it.

Though the two have been photographed together on several occasions, little Smith has never spoken about his relationship Kylie Jenner, until now. Interviewed for Wonderland magazine‘s May issue, he talks about it.

“I was in LA, we were all hanging out,” Smith tells the magazine. “Then I went to New York and she came too, and then she came here and surprised me, so that’s pretty baller. She’s one of my best friends. It’s pretty awesome.”

In After Earth, the men of the Smith clan play a father/son team who crash land on Earth after its destruction in the near future. So after play a semi-extraterrestrial, does Smith believe in alien life?

“If people think we’re the only people that live in this universe, then something is wrong with them,” Smith told Wonderland. And don’t worry, he has proof, from the Commander in Chief himself: “I talked to President Obama about extraterrestrials. He said he could neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens, which means they’re real.”

This discussion, of course, happened during a recent trip to the White House with father Will, mother Jada Pinkett-Smith and sister Willow. In the Situation Room, of all places.

From the Big Apple to Brazil, the stars have been keeping busy.

One day after NBC made the big announcement that Jimmy Fallon would take over The Tonight Show duties, the talk show host was spotted walking to his current job at Late Night. Fallon is set to move studios (though not too far — the show’s coming back to NYC) in 2014.

“Today was one of the most exciting days of my life. I read every tweet and every post and I thank you,” the former SNL star wrote on Twitter following the big news.

Elsewhere on the east coast, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith got all dolled up for the New York premiere of Free Angela and All Political Prisoners.

At a much more laid back red carpet event, Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated the launch of her new cookbook It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Over in Rio de Janeiro, a growing and glowing Fergie covered up her lovely baby bump in a wrap dress as she hit Ipanema beach with her entourage. The Black Eyed Peas singer is scheduled to be in Sao Paulo on Thursday night for the amfAR Inspiration Gala.

Jada Pinkett Smith cryptically addressed longtime speculation that she and her husband of 16 years Will Smith are in an open marriage.

The 41-year-old mother of Willow and Jaden told HuffPost Live: “No, I think that people get that idea because Will and I are very relaxed with one another.” But that’s not all she revealed…

“I’ve always told Will, ‘you can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay,’” she said.

While Mrs. Smith didn’t go into specifics about exactly how relaxed things are in their relationship, she did proudly gush about her hubby.

“At the end of the day, Will is his own man. I’m here as his partner, but he is his own man.” she explained.

“He has to decide who he wants to be and that’s not for me to do for him.”

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith handed over six thousand dollars of their hard-earned Hollywood cash to his Hancock co-star Charlize Theron, Celebuzz has learned.

The donation came via the Smiths charitable foundation and went to Theron’s The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, a not-for-profit charitable group that helps keep African youth safe from HIV/AIDS.

The Smiths also paid out a further six thousand dollars to the foundation run by Cesar Millan, the television star better known as “the Dog Whisperer,” which provides financial support to assist animal shelters.

The donations were revealed in newly filed federal tax documents that we’ve obtained.

The powerful Hollywood couple also supported various non-profit organizations, donating $126,000 to the Lupus Foundation of America and $52,500 to Make-A-Wish. Their single biggest contribution — a $200,000 check — went to the Baltimore School for the Arts foundation.

Smith, 44, and his 41-year-old wife donated $900,000 from their own trust to their tax-free foundation in 2010, the filing reveals. The couple is said to be worth more than $200 million.

Not on the list, however, was The New Village Leadership Academy, a controversial private school in Calabasas, Calif. that the Smiths founded. It has a curriculum devised by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, it’s been claimed.

Previously, the Smith’s charitable foundation provided lump sum payments to the school and gave more than $150,000 to groups affiliated with the controversial Church of Scientology.

Instead, this time around, the couple donated $35,800 to Oaks Christian School in West Lake Village, Calif. — a private non-denominational Christian college-preparatory school located on 18 acres in Westlake Village, Calif.

Hushpuppy is heading to the Warbucks mansion!

Beasts of the Southern Wild star and Oscar nominee Quvenzhané Wallis has just been hired for the title role of Annie, Sony Pictures and Overbrook Entertainment announced on Sunday.

The contemporary remake will be produced and directed by Will Gluck (Easy A, Friends With Benefits), along with Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith and Jay-Z.

“With the recent Academy Award nomination and critical acclaim, Quvenzhané Wallis is a true star and we believe her portrayal as Annie will make her a true worldwide star,” Hannah Minghella, President of Production at Sony Pictures said in a statement [via Deadline].

“She is an extraordinary young talent with an amazing range, not only as an actress but as a singer and dancer, and we can’t wait for audiences to further discover her.”

The 9-year-old actress could make Oscar history on Sunday; she’s up for Best Actress against Emmanuelle Riva, Naomi Watts, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence.

Annie, a longtime Broadway favorite, was adapted into a musical film in 1982, starring Aileen Quinn, Bernadette Peters and Albert Finney as Daddy Warbucks. There have been multiple versions since, including TV films in 1995 and 1999.

Smith’s daughter Willow was previously considered for the lead role, but eventually grew out of it (she’s 12 now).

As longtime Jay-Z fans know, the rapper’s 1998 album, Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life, features the megahit Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem), which samples the beloved Broadway track.

Wallis’s next feature is 12 Years a Slave, co-starring Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt and Benedict Cumberbatch. The Steve McQueen picture has yet to announce a release date.

The new Annie, based on a screenplay written by Emma Thompson, will be arrive in theaters during the winter holiday season in 2014.

Kanye West got into his zone, and he let rapper-turned-actor Will Smith join him.

While Jay-Z was performing with Justin Timberlake at the 2013 Grammy Awards, the other half of Watch the Throne was in Rio de Janeiro working with the Fresh Prince.

During a vacation in Brazil, West, 35, met up with Smith, 44, and the musical duo were spotted at a local recording studio creating Samba music (yes you heard that correctly).

However, the word’s still out if the two rapper’s trip to the studio was music-related or just having some vacay fun.

Later that day, the hitmakers were spotted playing tourist and taking in some sights with West’s “baby mama,” reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

West also filmed a short video of his pal and his gal.

“We’re in Brazil and we have the most gorgeous view ever,” Kardashian said in the video. “I just wanted to share this experience with you because I feel so blessed to be here.”

Before the clip ends, West panned to a shot of Smith, who could be heard saying, “We need a group shot.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West continued their adventure in Brazil on Sunday with a walking tour and a famous friend.

Will Smith was spotted joining the couple as they took in the sights and sounds of Vidigal in Rio de Janeiro.

Kardashian, 32, showed off her growing baby bump in a flowing white dress as her beau snapped some photos of the pregnant star.

West also filmed a short video of his gal for her Keek followers.

“We’re in Brazil and we have the most gorgeous view ever,” Kardashian says in the video. “I just wanted to share this experience with you because I feel so blessed to be here.”

Jamie Foxx returns to the big screen this Christmas in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, in which he stars as the title character, a freed slave set on rescuing his wife from a bloodthirsty plantation owner (played by Leonardo DiCaprio).

Django is a plum role which Foxx is hoping will return him to Oscar glory after winning a statuette for Ray back in 2004. It’s also a role Foxx nearly lost to Will Smith.

“I didn’t find out about it until it was actually on the internet and it said, ‘Will Smith to be slated to do Django‘,” Foxx told journalists.

When Smith dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, the role went to Foxx — who promptly called the Men In Black actor, thanking him for the opportunity.

Foxx credits Smith for giving him a break in the industry back in 2001, when Smith pushed director Michael Mann to hire Foxx for the role of Muhammad Ali’s trainer, Bundini Brown, in Ali.

“He told Michael Mann, ‘I’ve got to have that guy,” Foxx recalled. “Michael Mann was like, ‘I don’t know who that guy is.’ So this is another way of him giving me an opportunity.”

In Django Unchained, Foxx’s Django partners with bounty hunter King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Their journey leads them to Candyland, a sprawling plantation owned by Calvin Candie, (Leonardo DiCaprio) whose favorite past time is pitting one slave against another in bloody fights to the death.

In his first meeting with Tarantino, Foxx talked about his upbringing in racially charged Terrell, Texas. “Me playing the piano, all the Christmas parties in the big white neighborhood,” Foxx reminisced. “And I was furniture, meaning that the people there were doing jokes about blacks.”

Foxx had high praise for costars Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio, who wowed his sister when she visited the set.

“Here’s the good looking guy that sometimes you see in the tabloids,” said Foxx. “But this guy comes to work, he knows everything – and even when he is off camera, still giving the performance.”

While most movies about slavery involve a white guy rescuing African-Americans, there’s often a moment where a slave is poised to exact bloody revenge but instead surrenders to his better nature.

“I should kill you but I won’t, and God wouldn’t like that,” is how Foxx explained the usual scenario. “This one is like, ‘I’m going to kill you in front of everybody.”

Can such an iconoclastic take on this dark chapter of American history garner Foxx his second Oscar? If so, he would be the first African-American to be twice honored for Best Actor.

“Well someone has to open that door,” smiled Foxx. “I call it ‘eating pizza.’ When you eat a pizza, do you say, ‘Wow, this is from Italy?’ Or do you just eat the pizza? So I wanted it to be where you were just eating a pizza, where if a black person is nominated, or an Hispanic person is nominated, or whatever it is, it’s just eating pizza. And hopefully someone doesn’t make something out of the pizza. If we could get to that, we are good.”

Picture Perfect? A solid transfer faithfully preserves the rustic locations as well as the urban ones.

What Else Is There? An audio commentary, deleted scenes and a 21-minute featurette examines the conception of the film, and further explores the world it creates.

How Badly Do I Want It? Mixed reactions from critics makes this a rental primarily, but if you’re a Chastain completist like we are, then it’s a must-have.

Men in Black 3 (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment)

The One-Liner: Director Barry Sonnenfeld reunites with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones (and adds a younger Tommy Lee Jones, played by Josh Brolin) for an overdue third installment in this fun sci-fi series.

Picture Perfect? Although the 2D picture is more solid and consistent than the 3D, both are mostly successful in creating a solid visual landscape that faithfully replicates the theatrical experience.

What Else Is There? An interactive game offers a few seconds of entertainment, but a collection of featurettes and other extras delves into the process of bring MiB’s world to life.

How Badly Do I Want It? If you’re a fan of the first two films (or even just the first), this is well worth checking out as a rental, but Men in Black 3 doesn’t seem like a movie you’ll want to revisit often if it was in your library.

Paranorman (Universal Studios Home Entertainment)

The One-Liner: A creepy but charming animated feature that evokes Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas heyday.

Picture Perfect? Unsurprisingly, the film is a visual delight, and the Blu-ray transfer makes it absolutely shine, even when its characters are shrouded in the shadows.

What Else Is There? Some 41 minutes of featurettes offers an inside look at the making of the film, while a commentary track and a U-Control feature ties all of the extras together for one cohesive and complementary viewing experience.

How Badly Do I Want It? If you’re an animation fan, this film is probably a must-own, but it’s a solidly entertaining film that’s absolutely worth a rental, especially if you’re a Burton fan.

Sparkle (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment)

The One-Liner: This remake offers audiences their last look at the late Whitney Houston as Jordin Sparks reinvents this song-filled film for a modern audience.

Picture Perfect? Sony does a great job of reproducing the film’s digital photography on home video, beautifully preserving the skin tones and visual textures of its musical backdrop.

What Else Is There? A 20-minute tribute to Houston anchors the extras-filled disc, which also comes with a commentary track, making-of featurettes and some extended/additional performances.

How Badly Do I Want It? Although it certainly doesn’t compare cinematically to the original, seeing Houston’s final film is certainly worth the price of admission.

Step Up Revolution (Lionsgate)

The One-Liner: Director Scott Speer continues the Step Up series in fine form with this terrific, brightly-colored cornucopia of modern dance; while hardly revolutionary in its storytelling, it’s got some of the best choreography in recent memory.

Picture Perfect? Particularly in 3D, Step Up Revolution looks stunning, offering spectacular clarity even as Speer’s camera immerses itself in the action.

What Else Is There? A commentary track, four featurettes and a breakout feature including all of the film’s flash mob sequences expand the context of the dancing in the film and showcase its incredible set pieces.

How Badly Do I Want It? If you’re a fan at all of its predecessors, this is a must-own, but it’s engaging enough to be a pleasant night even if you’re just looking for some fun.

With the 2012 presidential election just around the corner, the stars are gearing up to place their votes.

But who is rooting for the incumbent President Barack Obama this time around?

If observers have learned anything over the past few weeks, it’s that celebs aren’t shy to express their political leanings. In fact, they wear them right on their sleeves — or their backs, in Madonna‘s case.

Many stars have staunchly advocated for Obama’s reelection, using their celebrity status to influence the public. And they just love to speak their political minds. From pro-Bama video messages to self-led Twitter campaigns, everyone has their own to way of endorsing their favorite candidate.

Even the less-outspoken celebs show their support by hosting mere $40,000 per-plate fundraisers, or making generous contributions to their party of choice.

It’s hard to believe that Willow Smith is only turning 12.

The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, who is celebrating her birthday Wednesday, has been whipping her hair for years and keeping us on our toes with her quirky fashion choices.

Whether she’s rocking gold chains and harem pants or cut-off overalls, the young songstress always goes for a fresh look with a tomboy twist. The “21st Century Girl” singer takes plenty of sartorial risks and never shies away from bold accessories like a neon arm strap or leopard sunglasses.

Recently, Willow told Teen Vogue that her style has evolved throughout the years with her brother Jaden as her biggest fashion influence.

“I used to like dresses and tights but when I turned nine, my style changed” she explained. “My mom helps me pick out my clothes, but my brother always says, ‘Willow, sag your pants!’”

Tuesday kicks off the two-week countdown to Election Day. As the presidential candidates ramp up events on the campaign trial, celebrities are throwing their A-list weight behind President Barack Obama during the home stretch.

Sarah Jessica Parker hit the battleground state of Ohio on Saturday, stumping for the Commander-in-Chief with his senior adviser Valerie Jarrett. “You’re doing the real work,” said the Sex and the City star, who hosted an Obama fund-raising dinner at her downtown New York City brownstone in June. “I’m just here to say thank you — and to say that we must win Ohio!”

And this week brings more star support for the democratic ticket. On Wednesday, Katy Perry will lend her voice to an “America Forward” rally in Las Vegas, headlining Obama’s multi-state campaign swing. And this isn’t the first time Perry performed on behalf of the POTUS. Earlier this month, she joined Jennifer Hudson, Jon Bon Jovi, Earth, Wind & Fire and Stevie Wonder at the “30 Days to Victory” concert fundraiser at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.

On Thursday, Michelle Obama will head to Los Angeles for another star-studded re-election event. Hollywood power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are opening their Calabasas, Calif., home to the First Lady for a lunch co-hosted by Salma Hayek.

While a $2,500-per-person contribution to the Obama Victory Fund earns admittance to the luncheon, guests can shell out $10,000-per-couple for a prime photo op with Michelle. Or guests can opt for the all-inclusive package, paying $40,000-per-pair for lunch, a photo with Obama’s wife and an exclusive post-meal meet-and-greet.

Throughout this year, Smith has voiced his support of the president’s policies, on everything from gay marriage to raising taxes on the wealthy. And Michelle sees such similarities between the big-screen star and her husband, that she would even cast him as the leader of the free world in a biopic.

Powerhouse singer Beyonce and hip-hop hubby Jay-Z have been crowned the world’s highest paid celebrity couple by Forbes magazine — with a combined income of $78 million.

Beyonce spent much of the recent months cuddling with her cute baby Blue Ivy Carter and laying low in the music world – yet she still earned $40 million from her previous music endeavors – including her 2011 album 4.

Jay-Z was also big pimpin’ this year – rolling in about $38 million from his Watch the Throne album and tour with Kim Kardashian’s beau, Kanye West, and other business acquisitions such as his co-ownership of NBA’s New York Nets.

Who else topped the Forbes list?

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen and New England Patriots’ hunky quarterback Tom Brady were the runners up on the list — making their combined cash from Bundchen’s modeling gigs, Brady’s sport contract — that doesn’t end until 2014 — and both have endorsement deals.

Coming in third place was style icon, Victoria Beckham — Posh Spice — and her gorgeous pro-soccer husband David Beckham of the Los Angeles Galaxy team.

Combined, they earned a bit over $54 million with all of their extra endorsements and other side gigs.

Another gorgeous couple to make the cut was actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — raking in about $45 million in the past year for their talented skills in film.

Singer and actor Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith earned fifth place on the Forbes list of world’s highest-paid celebrity couples.

The two totaled $40 million with the help of royalties made from films such as Men In Black 3 and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.

Willow Smith, the 11-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinket Smith, shocked fans and followers when she posted an instagram photo of herself sporting some new hardware inside her mouth– a tongue ring.

The “Whip my Hair” singer received a bit of outrage from her fans after she proudly posted this pic, showing off the mouth metal. Her friend joined her in the photo, wearing a chin ring.

Willow later updated the caption writing, ‘It’s Fake…Sorry.’

“It isn’t a piercing– it is a magnet. Just a young girl having fun with accessories,” a source told Gossip Cop of Willow’s pic.

If the ring had been real, in the state of California, you must receive parental consent at Smith’s age to get that kind of body piercing. This means one of her A-List parents, Will or Jada Pinkett Smith, would have had to sign off on it.
