For all you teen TV aficionados: Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf are dating.

Amid all the cheating scandals and bitter breakups, former O.C. star Adam Brody and former Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester found love after meeting on the set of their 2011 film, The Oranges.

As for another happy Hollywood ending: Kelly Clarkson opened up about her upcoming wedding with fiance Brandon Blackstock. “I was dating skinny jeans and I needed Wranglers,” she told People.

Of course, when it comes to celebrity relationships, things wouldn’t be complete without a little scandal courtesy of  Rihanna and Chris Brown, who both made headlines again after the pair showed a united front at Brown’s probation hearing on Wednesday.

Adam Brody & Leighton Meester

It’s a made-for-TV moment: the former TV stars sparked a romance after filming their 2011 dramedy, The Oranges. Their relationship is still in the early stages as the pair have been “hanging out for weeks,” according to an Us Weekly report. “They were always close and friendly,” an insider tells the publication.

Creager‘s opinion:

You have two young, good-looking, up and coming, successful celebrities.  They spend so much time together on the set.  They have so much in common.  Not only can they relate since they are both stars in a movie together, but they have the “process” of getting famous that is also similar.  Their compatibility then is already at a high point.  It is natural for the pheromones to start to flow.  Lastly, they are actors in a movie where they have to be dramatic and emotional.  Their emotional juices already have to flow just to be in the movie together.  It is not always possible to separate those feelings generated by the characters they are playing to the real life actors.  That may make it easier to “fall” for each other.

Kelly Clarkson & Brandon Blackstock

After announcing their engagement in December, the American Idol winner gushed about her upcoming wedding with her fiance — a music manager and the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire.

“Out of nowhere I just said, ‘Thanks for being an awesome guy.’ I’ve never been loved properly by a man, and I was just like, ‘I thank you so much for that,’” she told People about Blackstock, who proposed with a canary diamond ring.

Creager’s opinion:

Celebs who fall in love with non-famous people definitely tend to have a better chance in long-lasting relationships.  That is not to say celebrity relationships could never last.  However, when one is not a celebrity, it creates a balanced yin/yang in the relationship.  That balance leads to more stability.  People who complement each other (as well as compliment each other), often have a better chance of having a long term cohesive relationship.  There is less chaos, less “Hollywood drama” and at least more a sense of being grounded in family than when both are famous.

Rihanna & Chris Brown

Another week, another RiRi and Brown sighting. This time around, the “Diamonds” singer joined her on-again, off-again beau at his probation hearing in L.A. The day before, Brown was accused of failing to complete his 180 days of court-ordered community service.

Creager’s opinion:

People’s actions speak way louder than words.  Actions such as Rihanna accompanying Chris Brown to his probation hearing, sitting with his mother, etc. point to one thing: She is back with Chris, or at least making her way back.  Here she is, accompanying him to a court trial that has to do with a time that she was violently attacked by him.  It sure seems that she has forgiven him and is opening up to Round 2 of their relationship.

Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries

With her first child on the way, Kardashian wants a “new, full life” away from the NBA player, stated in a new declaration in their divorce proceedings. “The same should hold true for [Kris],” according to a legal statement first obtained by TMZ.

Creager’s opinion:

As we look from the outside, we may not know the details of Kris’ motivation.  However, as a marriage therapist, I always am putting out theories of behavior.  All behavior is purposeful and not random, and Kris’ wish to delay the divorce is purposeful as well.  My best theory is that he is being passive-aggressive.  People are passive-aggressive when they don’t deal with their anger maturely and they aren’t directly aggressive because then they would have to “see their sins.”  Passive aggressive behavior can be a way to get anger out towards another person that they feel hurt by without looking like an obvious jerk.  However, passive aggressive behavior can be very hurtful.  Another theory is that Kris may feel embarrassed or in a “one-down” powerless position so this delay of divorce may be his way of getting back some feeling of power and being in the one-up position.

Shenae Grimes & Josh Beech

Just like many of their celebrity counterparts (hello, Johnny Depp and Winona Rider), the 90210 star and her fiance celebrated their engagement with permanent ink — matching tattoos of their names, to be exact.

Creager’s opinion:

That falling in love stage is all about the bonding.  During this stage, people emphasize their similarities, all their good qualities and the desire to stay together forever.  Just like there is the ritual of exchanging rings, which is a symbol of the goal of everlasting love, these days, many couples treat tattoos in the same way.   Mutual tattoos have become another ritual that symbolizes the couples quest for everlasting love.  That romantic falling in love stage is all about the bond.  The couple is not thinking about what would happen if they ever broke up.  In the year 2013, it would not be unusual for couples who are in this “honeymoon” stage of a relationship, to parlay their intense hormonal/emotional/physical attraction to each other into a tattoo that expressed their deeply felt commitment to each other.

Cable network Bravo delivered its seventh consecutive best year ever in 2012 among total viewers and the 25-54 age demographic. The network also nabbed the most viewers and remained No.1 for viewers age 18-49, and 25-54. In a statement, Frances Berwick, president of Bravo said, “With over 400 hours of high quality original programming, 2012 was marked by record achievements across returning and new series, digital innovations like Play Live, Transmedia and Zeebox, brand extensions like the Top Chef Kitchen and multi-platform partnerships. We are in great shape to launch an exciting new slate of programming for 2013, which includes our first scripted original series.” [Bravo]

Season 2 of Randy to the Rescue is set to premiere in May 2013 on TLC. The network has confirmed that hair stylist Lindsay Yamashita and makeup artist Raychel Wade as the new beauty team for the second season.
This season, Randy will be visiting Denver, Seattle, Oklahoma City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, Savannah, D.C., and Chicago to make brides’ fantasies come true. [TLC]

It’s time for the Best Funeral Ever. TLC has ordered a special/backdoor pilot of the show that goes behind-the-scenes of an unconventional funeral home. At the home, funeral director John Beckwith asks families to create a special theme for a memorial and then throws a big party to celebrate the deceased The special, which airs on Dec. 26, will feature Christmas-inspired and BBQ-themed funerals. Just a couple of months after Tyler Perry made a deal with the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), the network has now announced the two series the star will oversee. Perry will have a hand in new drama, The Haves and the Have Nots, and comedy, Love Thy Neighbor. Both shows are set to begin production next year and slated to premiere in mid 2013. [THR]

Looking like spring, Rachel Bilson graces the cover of Lucky‘s April issue. In a lovely yellow and red print dress, the Hart of Dixie star opens up to the magazine about dating costars and her fashion do’s and don’ts.

On the Lucky photo shoot, Bilson keeps it classy by the pool. Unlike many Hollywood stars, she says she keeps away from “slutty” styles. “I guess I’m not too crazy about slutty dresses,” says Bilson. “You try something on, and if you feel like a slut, you probably look like one.” 

The brunette starlet first became a household name when she played Summer Roberts on FOX’s The O.C. While a cast member, she began dating heartthrob and onscreen beau Adam Brody – which ended two years later. She reminisces about her time on the show, saying:

“I just had absolutely no idea that all that–being on The O.C., dating Adam [Brody]–was going to end up being so invasive.”

Currently starring on The CW’s Hart of Dixie, Bilson reveals that being the center of attention isn’t her “thing.”

“I don’t mind being the center of attention as a character but in real life it’s not for me,” she confesses.

Tonight marks the much-anticipated return to television for former O.C. star Rachel Bilson, who now has her sights set on the South in the CW medical dramedy, Hart of Dixie.

Let’s take a closer look at the competition:First in line is Mr. Adam Brody. Known for dating other hollywood hottie Rachel Bilson, this California dream stole hearts all over with his hit role in The O.C. and in various other acting gigs. 

Secondly, is Adam Lambert, who stunned the country with his edgy boldness on the eighth season of American Idol, and released his first album in 2009.

Next, we have Adam Scott. The charming actor is  known for many roles including the hit comedy film Step Brothers, and TV series Parks and Recreation. 

And last but certainly not least, Adam Levine, lead vocalist for Maroon 5, who captures attention everywhere he goes with amazing voice and undeniable good looks.

With the Comic-Con craziness finally coming to an end, it seems only appropriate to reflect on the action-hero-packed festivities of the weekend, as fans strutted the streets in costume after costume.

While there were signings and venues to attend throughout the weekend, the three-day A&C Centre presented by Nintendo event was the place to be!

Chris Evans made an appearance, sitting down to do some gaming on Nintendo 3DS. While Chris plays a super hero on the big screen in his new Flick Captain America, it’s interesting that this Boston native shared at the Nintendo gaming area that he was never allowed to play video games as a kid.

As you can imagine, he sat tight and gamed for a good amount of time — playing the new “Legend of Zelda” game. This stud didn’t let us down: Not only is he hot, but people were speaking about how super friendly and extremely down to earth the star was.

Chris wasn’t the only hollywood A-Lister who showed up.

Adam Brody walked through the gifting suite and got himself some fresh new cologne by Connected Kenneth Cole Reaction. Guests and celebs alike enjoyed treats from the Limitless Café and gushed over pictures of Limitless front man Bradley Cooper that were perfectly ornamented all over the café. Monster energy drink also provided some beverages to quench everyone’s thirst throughout the hot summer weekend in San Diego.

Other celebrities in attendance included Vivica A. Fox, Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic, Elijah Wood and Seth Green.

Although Comic-Con pays tribute to all the comic books and ‘nerdy’ gaming, it was most definitely a star-studded weekend thanks to the new movie Captain America, upcoming Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and other highly anticipated big screen debuts.

Long before Gossip Girl typed her first blog, Fox’s The O.C. was TV’s go-to for rich, beautiful teens behaving badly. It’s no coincidence, considering both shows were created by the same guy (Josh Schwartz), who is re-teaming with O.C. alumna Rachel Bilson for an NBC romantic comedy called Ghost Angeles.

Kristen Stewart may get a lot of criticism for not being comfortable with fame, but the actress says that she should be allowed to be awkward from time to time.

The Twilight actress tells London’s Telegraph newspaper that her natural shyness makes people think that she doesn’t care:

I am quite shy and people think I’m aloof. I get that all the time: ‘She should not be in this position because she can’t handle it,’ and, ‘She is stuck up and doesn’t want to talk to anybody. She is miserable, and if you are so miserable stop doing it.’ But do you have a choice? I want to be an actor, I am just not very comfortable talking about myself.

Like any 20-year-old girl, Kristen has some insecurities, which she says interfere with her ability give good interviews:

When I did the first Twilight movie they were like, ‘Now you have to go and do media training,’ and I was, ‘Screw you! Do you think you are going to wrap up all my little insecurities and throw them out the window? Do you think you are going to put soundbites in my mouth? I’ll do your course, but that’s not going to happen.’

Kristen was most recently slammed by former OC cutie Adam Brody (whom she co-starred with in In the Land of Women) for complaining about fame. Adam suggested that people like KStew should get out of acting. Watch the interview below.

Adam later apologized for the comments, after feeling the wrath of angered Twi-hards.

Kristen’s private life has been the subject of near-endless media attention. Photos of KStew kissing her long-rumored boyfriend (and Twilight co-star) Robert Pattinson set the internet on fire when they were released in August.

Remember when Adam Brody not-so-kindly suggested Kristen Stewart quit acting if she really hated the paparazzi presence so much? Well, he wants Twi-hards (and the rest of the world) to know he sort of regrets the comment that sparked the fury of K-Stew/Bella Swan fans everywhere.

In a refreshing move for an actor, Brody, star of the upcoming college reunion flick The Romantics, took full responsibility for his remarks in an interview with MTV News, admitting he cringed when he watched himself slam Stewart on screenwriter Diablo Cody’s web show, Red Band Trailer:

It wasn’t taken out of context. I saw [the episode] and thought I sounded like an idiot. I did. Regardless of how anyone else took anything, I would think that sounds very ungentlemanly and I sounded like a jackass.

Adam’s harsh words came during a discussion about the downsides of fame, as he told Cody of Stewart: “I don’t have a lot of patience for people who moan about it too much ’cause there are many things you could do and you know you mentioned…[Kristen] and it’s like quit, f***ing quit. You don’t need to be an actress. If it’s that much of a problem, there’s the door.”

Katie Holmes and hubby Tom Cruise brought the Hollywood glamour at the New York screening of Katie’s new film, The Romantics, on Tuesday night.

Adorable “Why-Isn’t-He-In-More-Stuff?” actor Adam Brody sat down with the very pregnant Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody for her new web show, Red Band Trailer. In the interview, Diablo asks Adam for his opinion on stars like Kristen Stewart who constantly lament being recognized or photographed by the paparazzi:

It’s a shame because at certain times it’s amazing. I don’t really give a s**t about the Lakers but if you did you could have nice seats–there are plenty of perks. It’s only gotten worse being a celebrity but at the same time I don’t have a lot of patience for people who moan about it too much ’cause there are many things you could do and you know you mentioned…[Kristen] and it’s like quit, f***ing quit. You don’t need to be an actress. If it’s that much of a problem, there’s the door.
