According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 20-year-old Twilight star will share the screen with Adam Sandler, David Spade, Maya Rudolph and more in Grown Ups 2, a sequel to the surprise 2010 comedy hit. While not many details are known about the film’s plot, sources tell THR that Tay will have a “fun” role where he’ll go head to head with Sandler.

The comedian is back with his latest film Jack & Jill, and takes on dueling roles playing Jack, a husband and father as well as his own (obnoxious) twin sister, Jill. Set around the holidays, Adam’s character reluctantly invites his sister for a visit, after some encouragement from his wife (Katie Holmes).

A number of LA hotspots are featured in the film (see how many you can spot!), but it’s a Lakers game where Jill catches the eye of a Hollywood legend.

Al Pacino makes a cameo in the film as a sappy version of himself who is after the heart of Jill.

The film, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, features hilarious comedy as Sandler enlists Aniston to help him land the woman of his dreams, SI cover model and Mrs. Andy Roddick Brooklyn Decker. Adding to the fun is director Dennis Dugan, the man behind the camera for such classics as Happy Gilmore and Big Daddy.

The Just Go with It actress revealed on The Oprah Winfrey Show show on Wednesday that she was once offered a position on Saturday Night Live in the early ’90s when she was a struggling actress. Unfortunately for SNL, Aniston passed up the offer to take a starring role in a little sitcom called Friends.

“We wanted Aniston to be on the show with us,” said Jen’s Just Go with It co-star (and former SNL funnyman) Adam Sandler. “I remember being on the ninth floor where Lorne Michaels‘ office was, and seeing Jen come in. I was like, ‘Oh my God, there’s Aniston. Is she about to be on our show?’”

Aniston, for her part, said that she felt that SNL was “a boys club” and decided to take an offer to star in Friends.

“They were like, ‘You’re so stupid,’” said Jen. “They thought I was making a huge mistake.”

“She said no? She’s gonna do that Friends? What the hell is Friends?” Sandler remembered saying to his SNL friends. If Aniston had taken the role she would have starred alongside Sandler, Chris Farley and David Spade.

Luckily for Jen, her decision to pass up the famous sketch comedy show for a new sitcom paid off. “I did alright,” Jen joked about her decision to go with the NBC sitcom that launched her into superstardom and eventually earned her $1 million per episode.

Even though she turned down the job, there was no bad blood between Jen and SNL– the actress went on to host two episodes of the show in 1999 and 2004.

The Billy Madison actor was bestowed with the honor and made it a family affair bringing along his wife Jackie Sandler and daughters Sadie, 4, and Sunny, 2. In the middle of his speech, his little girls interrupted him and declared, “We love you, dad!” Awww! The 41-year-old celebrates this honor right before the release of his latest film, (which also stars Jennifer Aniston) Just Go With It, on February 11.

The 44-year-old comedy star’s newest film in the works, Jack and Jill with Katie Holmes and Al Pacino, is currently shooting in town but does not have a tentative release date yet, although fans have his rom-com with Jennifer Aniston, Just Go with It, on deck for February 11th.

In the comedy, Just Go With It, he plays a man after Brooklyn Decker‘s heart and enlists the help of his friend, played by Jennifer Aniston, to win her over. It’s currently set to be released in February of 2011.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have welcomed twin girls, according to Howard Stern. Us reports that the radio host made the announcement on his Sirius show this morning. Names and status of the twins and Romijn are unknown. The model/actress had to skip Stern’s October wedding because she was on bedrest for her pregnancy.

Tara Reid has not left rehab, despite reports. People had run a story claiming that Reid had left Promises in Malibu, CA after just three weeks of treatment but her rep tells E! that the story is “not true.” People has removed the story since the denial. Reid’s exact addiction is unknown at this time.

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson‘s Marley & Me is still #1 at the box office for the third week in a row, having grossed $106 million domestically, according to Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily. Aniston ex Brad Pitt‘s film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is in third place, grossing $79 million after Adam Sandler‘s Bedtime Stories ($85 million).

The economic recession has even affected the NBA’s Shaquille O’Neal. Page Six reports that O’Neal, superstar center of the Phoenix Suns, has lowered the asking price of his Star Island, Fla estate in Miami from $35 million to $25 million.

The 42-year-old You Don’t Mess With the Zohan actor enjoyed a family outing at Los Angeles shopping center the Grove today, with his grandmother, wife Jaqueline Sandler, 34 (who’s appeared in several of Sandler’s films, including I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry) and their two-year-old daughter, Sadie Madison Sandler.

Not along for the excursion: Adam and Jaqueline’s new daughter Sunny Madeline Sandler, who was born on November 2.

Granny wasn’t the only family member that Papa Sandler was pushing around during the trip; he also did stroller duty.

Which not only bolsters Sandler’s well-earned rep for normalcy, but is good for building muscles. That should come in handy if he and a certain former game-show host ever have a rematch.

“Jackie and Adam had a beautiful baby girl, Sunny Madeline on November 2,” according to his website. “Everyone is happy and healthy.”

Sandler, 42, and the missus, 34, are already parents to Sadie, 2, who was born in May of 2006. The Sandlers have been married since 2003.

Sunny and Sadie? They sound like a children’s puppeteer troupe.

Sandler recently summed up his wife’s pregnancy on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno using these immortal words: “My little daughter is always looking at her and is nervous to see her mom sick like that. So I had I try to relax my daughter, just saying, ‘Mommy’s not like bad sick. She just has something growing in her that’s eventually gonna shoot out her vagina and take half your toys’. “

That’s certainly one way to look at it.
