It looks like a reality TV mash up of NBC’s Smash and Disney’s High School Musical could be hitting the small screen — starring Hollywood’s most well-known momager Dina Lohan.

Celebuzz has learned the mother of Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has signed on to as-yet unsold documentary-series that promises to chronicle the real-life journey of launching a Broadway-bound musical from “page to stage,” while showcasing the incredible talents of our young performers and their DramaMamas, hovering not far behind.

“There is nothing more important to me than a parent standing behind their child and helping them fulfill their dreams,” Dina told Celebuzz.

Production for the series begins this weekend and will run through the summer.

The show will take the audience behind the scenes of The White Plains Performing Arts Center’s theatre company, with producers promising to take viewers on a “roller coaster adventure.”

Throughout the season, DramaMamas will recruit a variety of creative “mentors” from the Broadway community, including 49-year-old Lohan, who has acted as manager for daughters Lindsay, 25, and Ali, 18.

Dina previously appeared with her children Lindsay, Ali, Cody and Michael Lohan, Jr., on the E! series Living Lohan.

“Most moms have two lives if they are lucky,” executive producer and creator Linda Sawyer told Celebuzz.

“The life they commit to their children and the life they try to carve out for themselves in the professional world.

“I created a television series that blends both my worlds. When I wasn’t carting my daughters to Manhattan four sometimes five days a week for singing, acting and dance lessons, I found time to produce television shows.

“As a single mother, you learn to juggle for everyone.  And now, with the help of celebrity mentor and ultimate DramaMama Dina Lohan, I will document and bring you into the world of our DramaMamas by telling their stories and validating their journeys.”

The pilot is being shopped to multiple networks, but there’s no word yet on where the show will find a home.

Lindsay Lohan and her sister Ali had a girls night out on Monday night. They were spotted attending a birthday bash at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Lindsay looked fab dressed up in a blue frilly top, black skinny jeans, blue heels and a brown jacket, while her 18-year-old sister wore ripped jeans, a black jacket and ankle boots and showed off her a short, choppy haircut.

On a personal front, things are improving for LiLo. Last week, Lindsay kicked off her career comeback by hosting Saturday Night Live. Although her performance had mixed reviews amongst our readers, Lindsay’s gig did rake in the most viewers compared to this season’s ratings.

Jetting off from JFK airport in New York, Lindsay Lohan and her sister Ali sure had a lot of baggage. The sisters were spotted arriving together, trying to cover up with sunglasses as an airport employe helped carry their luggage.

But it seems everyone’s eyes are drawn to the “Untitled” screenplay that LiLo has in her hands. How convenient that she has that script to cover her face from the paparazzi. Could she really be working on a new movie? Guess we’ll have to wait and see if the Mean Girls actress will be headed back to the big screen.

Just last week, Lindsay attended her probation progress hearing and is on track and doing well just one month after a judge warned her that any violation of her probation or community service terms would result in some serious jail time. Judge Stephanie Sautner, who has been pretty harsh when it comes to throwing accusations at Lohan, opened the hearing with a compliment for the first time ever.

“Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work,” she said.

Of course, she barely made it back in time for the hearing because she missed her flight back to the mainland after a jaunt in Hawaii. Just days earlier, she was photographed splishing and splashing in the Pacific sporting a skimpy bikini.

Ali Lohan seems to be getting thinner every time her photo is taken. Lindsay Lohan‘s younger sister is getting involved in modeling but is she taking her diet too far?

While vacationing in Hawaii, Ali stepped out in jumper that hugged her frame, revealing just how thin she’s become. Ali, 17, and her older sister Lilo lounged around the island before Lindsay jet-setted back to Los Angeles for her court appearance on Wednesday, and the Kanye West/Jay-Z concert of course!

This year, Ali has been under a lot of scrutiny for her appearance, with rumors swirling over the summer that she underwent plastic surgery. “I was cracking up. Because, like, when would I do that? I’m 17 years old,” Ali told New York Post’s Page Six Magazine. “That’s not legal! I would need my mother’s signature, and do you think my mom would ever sign off on that? No!”

Ali, who was signed to Next Model Management, also made it a point to add that she is offered drugs by other models at times but declines thanks to her sister’s advice. “I’m lucky enough that I had my sister to learn from. I’ve seen people do it to her, so I’ve learned to be like, ‘That’s stupid, no.’ That’s why me and Lindsay are also so close, because we’re able to talk about those things together,” Ali said.

Ali and Lindsay Lohan may have their share of struggles, but making friends isn’t one of them. The 17-year-old model was spotted with a male pal on a lawn in Hawaii over the weekend laughing and having a time. While Ali was makeup free and wearing a pair of cut-off shorts and a loose-fitted t-shirt, her friend was wearing a more hippie style. 

While Ali was having a relaxing moment with her friend, big sis Lindsay was freaking out after her purse was stolen. 

Reportedly worried that she would get into more legal woes after the theft. Luckily (sorta), Lilo’s purse was retrieved but was missing the $10,000 in cash that was in there. 

Lindsay is expected to return to Los Angeles as she is to appear in court on Wednesday for a status hearing.

Lindsay Lohan is saying bye bye to morgue duties and aloha to Hawaii — for now.

The troubled starlet flew down south for a tropical getaway on Friday. Accompanied by her sister Ali and a couple of close friends, LiLo was spotted hanging out on the balcony of her Hawaiian resort.

Lindsay, whose Playboy nudes were leaked onto the web this morning, no doubt flew out of California to relax and escape the paparazzi’s prying eyes.

LiLo was granted this special vacay after completing (and getting ahead of!) her monthly community service. According to TMZ, Linds’ probation officer was so pleased with her attendance record that there was no point in barring her from leaving the state.

Lately, Ali Lohan had to deal with her fair share of scandal! Apart from being criticized for promoting an unhealthy lifestyle due to her super thin frame, the aspiring model also had to face rumors of undergoing plastic surgery. Ali defended herself in New York Post’s Page Six Magazine, saying:

Recently signed to Next Model Management, Ali did admit that she’s sometimes offered drugs by the other models, adding her sister is the main reason she’s saying no to drugs.

“I’m lucky enough that I had my sister to learn from. I’ve seen people do it to her, so I’ve learned to be like, ‘That’s stupid, no.’ That’s why me and Lindsay are also so close, because we’re able to talk about those things together,” Ali said. “You can’t trust anyone so we talk to each other about everything. I admire how strong she is.”

After debuting a new look this week, everyone wants to know — what’s up with Ali Lohan?

While makeup and weight loss can certainly create a big change, some speculate that she’s had plastic surgery.

Celebuzz spoke with celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher (who has not treated Ali) to get his expert opinion!

“It appears that most of the changes are due to weight loss,” he says. “However, she may have had her nose done and may have had fillers in her lips, but it’s hard to say without more proof.”

Meanwhile, big sis Lindsay Lohan tells E! News: “She has never.”

Backing up that claim is Alexis Borges, the agency director at Next Model Management, which represents Ali: “Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it’s natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape.”

Ali Lohan took after her big sister Lindsay and hit the beaches of Miami in a teeny bikini. The Hollywood heir relaxed with her sibling in the warm Florida waters. She even had someone bring her out a towel so she didn’t have to walk the beach in just her bikini. 

This could be the last hurrah for Lindsay before she heads to jail. 

The Mean Girls actress has been showing off her awesome bikini body and relaxing with her sister and a handful of friends in Miami, but was recently sentenced to 120 days in jail and three years probation after stealing a necklace from a boutique.

Jail aside, while the sisters frolicked on the beach, Lindsay’s temporary tattoo started to bleed off. The ink, which included an Asian-ish design and the word “blood,” got smudged by the salty waves. Lindsay is currently in Miami for a photo shoot with a local magazine.

Lindsay Lohan is locked up in rehab, but her on-again, off-again assistant Eleonore has reportedly been forced to be at the beck and call of Dina Lohan and Ali Lohan.

According to TMZ, Dina has forced Eleonore to do her bidding and continually “rambles” on and on about business schemes. According to a source, Dina is thinking about selling some of Mean Girls star’s clothes in a “Lohan garage sale” to wrangle up some extra cash.

TMZ also reports that Dina has thrown Ali into the mix, forcing Eleonore to mind Lindsay’s 16-year-old sister and do her errands.

Lindsay is currently serving 90 days in an inpatient rehab facility in UCLA. The rehab was part of Lindsay’s sentencing for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI arrest. Lindsay was also sentenced to 90 days in jail but was released early due to overcrowding.

The 24-year-old starlet is expected to get out of the rehab center in 82 days.

Even though Lindsay is currently locked away, her various businesses have been thriving: Lindsay’s fashion line 6126 recently released a lookbook for its Fall 2010 collection.

It turns out that Dina Lohan did not have the cops called on her during the Carvel ice cream scandal that was previously reported; rather, the momager called the cops on the ice cream worker who had refused to give her free ice cream.

Dina originally complained that a Carvel employee called the cops on her (including a police helicopter) after she tried to use her daughter Ali Lohan‘s free ice cream card. Now, Carvel is fighting back against Dina.

The ice cream company explained that they had originally given a Carvel “Black Card” to Lindsay Lohan and sister Ali. A Carvel representative explained that the company often gives out these cards to celebrities but requires that the cardholder be present when they get their free ice cream. Furthermore, the card holder can only receive up to $25 in free ice cream per week. The company claims that the Lohans had been abusing the privileges of the card for months:

The Lohan family has been abusing the card. While the card was issued in Lindsay and Ali’s names only, her extended family has repeatedly used the card without either present. At first, we graciously honored their requests while explaining that the Black Card was not a carte blanche for unlimited Carvel Ice Cream for the extended Lohan family and friends. After more than six months of numerous and large orders for ice cream, we finally had to cut off the card and take it back.

Dina Lohan reacted badly and called the police to have her card returned. The police responded and did return the card to Dina with instructions not to use it again. This is an unfortunate situation where certain people feel entitled to use a celebrity’s name for their own purposes. We regret that the Lohan family is upset and hope this matter is put behind us quickly.

Carvel has since revoked all free ice cream privileges from the Lohan family.

Can’t Dina Lohan get some free ice cream without causing a scene?

The momager of troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan claims that a worker at a Carvel ice cream shop called the police on her after she tried to use her daughter Ali Lohan‘s free ice cream card. Naturally, Dina recounted the harrowing events to gossip blog RadarOnline.

Dina went to the Carvel ice cream store in Long Island to pick up a cake for her son Cody’s 14th birthday party. Dina wanted to use a special Carvel “Black” card which Dina says guarantees her and her family “free ice cream for 75 years.” Wow, that must be some special card.

However, when Dina went to the ice cream store, she didn’t have a card of her own and instead wanted to use her daughter Ali’s card. “I didn’t think it be [sic] a problem,” Dina said. Unfortunately for Dina, it was a problem.

Dina alleges that the ice cream worker grabbed her arm, took her card and “held it hostage.” She also claims that the worker called the cops on her, even sending over a police helicopter to nab Dina for attempting to use a free ice cream card.

We didn’t realize that the police would take the issue of a stolen ice cream card so seriously, but apparently Carvel “black” cards are a big deal in Long Island.

Eventually, the worker was forced to give Dina back her card, but refused to give her a cake. Dina says that “it just shows how we get treated so much worse than regular people.”

However, don’t pity poor Dina, “regular people,” because she has a plan for revenge: “Just wait until Lindsay and Ali hear about this [...] when Ali gets back, I’m going to bring her in everyday to this store–and you can print that!”

Well, at least Lindsay Lohan will get to spend some quality time with her mother and sister before getting shipped off to the Big House. Of course, that depends on what your definition of “quality” is.

The Just My Luck actress/living trainwreck has arrived on the East Coast to spend the weekend with mom Dina Lohan and little sister Ali Lohan, but of course this won’t be just any weekend—it will all be captured on tape, for a Mother’s Day special to be aired on E!

Yeah, totally. Because when you think about mother/child relationships that should be held up to the world and emulated, you think about the special bond between these three.

Surprisingly, the special won’t consist of the three of them hitting the clubs for a body-shots rampage; instead, LiLo and Ali will honor the woman who gave birth to them by helping her organize the closet of her New York home.

Dina Lohan needs two people to help her organize her closet? Huh; who knew that hoarding is a hereditary condition?

Michael Lohan is at it again, trying to win the title of World’s Greatest Dad by threatening his ex-wife and mother of his children if she won’t pony up some cash for him to do…well, whatever it is that he does.

Michael announced that Dina Lohan has to sit down and meet with him and his lawyers (read: “give me money!”) or he will release tapes of her that will apparently discredit and embarrass her.

Is it possible that these tapes will tarnish the great Lohan name and make the public think less of Dina? Unless they show her killing a small child or spouting off racist remarks, we don’t think it’s possible for the public to think any less of Dina.

Michael says that he is also planning on going to Child Protective Services in New York to take Lindsay Lohan‘s younger sister Ali Lohan away from Dina. Because if there is one way to show that you are more responsible parent than your ex-wife, it’s to publicly blackmail her into giving you money.

And people wonder why Lindsay is so messed up.

Great news, everyone: Lindsay Lohan got a job! Well, sort of: Lindsay is now pimping herself out to get free grub.

Lindsay was spotted with her sister Ali Lohan creating the “Lohan Shake” at Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood. Surprisingly, the Lohan Shake is 100% alcohol free. False advertising!
