Mother-of-one Alicia Keys is looking better than ever these days!

The singer was spotted at Paris Fashion Week rocking one of this season’s most slimming trends: optical illusion dresses!

Alicia worked a black and white getup that showed off her curvacious figure that she complimented with a slicked back ‘do. The pop diva isn’t the only fashion forward starlet to wear this this slimming style!

Stars like Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow have hit the red carpet in this trend and nailed the look every time. Check out the photos in the above gallery.

R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder & More Honor Whitney Houston with Musical Performances (VIDEO)

On Saturday, stars paid respect to the late Whitney Houston inside New Hope Baptist Church as they said their final farewells. Houston’s musical comrades sch as R. Kelly and Stevie Wonder were in attendance and sent off the legendary singer though musical performances. Wonder played the piano and sang “Love’s In Need of Love Today” and “Ribbon in the Sky” while Kelly covered Houston’s 2009 single “I Look To You.”

Songstress Alicia Keys was also in the audience and said goodbye to the departed songstress with a heart-wrenching performance of “Send Me An Angel.” The singer broke down in tears before her song and was given a handkerchief from someone in the crowd.

Alicia Keys Performs Emotional Tribute at Whitney Houston’s Funeral (VIDEO)

Alicia Keys‘ was just one of the many celebrities that attended Whitney Houston‘s funeral in Newark, NJ on Saturday. The songstress paid tribute to the legendary songstress with a heart-wrenching ballad. Before she began, Keys talked a little about how Houston has affected her.

Another celebrity in attendance was Kevin Costner, who starred in 1992′s The Bodyguard with Houston, and he spoke about his fond memories of the late singer. The actor even shared a few on-set stories — one of which was Whitney’s audition for the big role.

Costner recalled a fond memory of Whitney in which the makeup she’d put on minutes before her big audition had melted off because of the studio’s bright lights. Costner said Whitney had removed the studio’s makeup she had on and instead used her own.

“She seemed so small and sad at that moment and I asked her why she did it. She said, ‘I just wanted to look my best,’” he recalled. “If Whitney could hear me now, I’d say you weren’t enough, you were great … People just didn’t like you, they loved you.”

Alicia Keys brought a mix of classic and modern to the 2012 Grammy Awards, where she arrived in a knee-length black & gold dress.

With her hair pulled way up, Alicia showed off her curves in the hip-hugging silhouette, and added a touch of flair at the center with a gold collar.

The whole thing came across as old Hollywood glam meets, well, The Jetsons. Which may or may not be a good thing.

Alicia, who was seen consoling Clive Davis last night at his annual pre-Grammys party, will honor the late Etta James during tonight’s telecast in a duet with Bonnie Raitt.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Console Clive Davis Following Whitney Houston’s Death (PHOTOS)

Hollywood was shook up when news broke that legendary singer Whitney Houston had passed away on Saturday afternoon. Guests of Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party was especially affected as many attendees looked up to Houston as a musical icon.

Songstress Alicia Keys and her husband, Swizz Beatz, immediately came to party host’s side following the tragic news. The couple was seen embracing Davis in a tender moment before entering the party. Once inside, Alicia jumped on the piano and performed a tiny rendition of “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” to pay respect to the late great singer.

Many party guests were certainly grief-stricken over Houston’s death, but Richard Branson told reporters that Whitney would’ve wanted the party to go on despite the tragic news that broke just hours before the festivities.

“It was touch and go whether the show would go on, it was decided that Whitney would want the show to go on and we’ll still have a nice celebration of her life.”

Singer Alicia Keys was seen taking her adorable 14-month-old son Egypt to the park in NYC on Thursday, and we cannot believe how cute he is! Dressed cute and casually, Alicia (who is married to rapper Swizz Beatz) was wearing a big scarf along with a jean jacket. Being the doting mommy she is, she pushed her little guy on the swings, and it looks like they had a blast.

Seriously, how cute is this kid?

Alicia tweeted about the holidays, saying:

“Creating a new playlist of all the songs I’m working on to vibe with during the holiday…..what are you up to right now?;-)”

We bet her little boy will get all kinds of goodies from Santa this year!

Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore & Alicia Keys Band Together for Breast Cancer Awareness

That’s a whole lot of gorgeous!

Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys and Demi Moore share the October cover of Glamour magazine and take the opportunity to talk about their charitable new project.

So, what are these ladies up to?

Each lady directed a short film for a series entitled Five for Lifetime. The series includes a number of unique stories about women whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer in one way or another. And considering October is breast cancer awareness month, this couldn’t have come at a better time!

The trio opened up about the project, babies, husbands and much more!

On wanting to bring the Five project to life…
Jennifer: “We were intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences’ expectation of the subject. We wanted to balance the drama with humor and irreverence because that’s what’s helped our friends who’ve faced this get through their treatment. We wanted stories that were informative without being heavy-handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written. Other than that, our goals were small. [Laughs.]”

On what she looks for in a relationship…
“I would say I couldn’t be in a relationship without equality, generosity, integrity, spirit, kindness and humor. And awesomeness.”

On not believing what you read in the tabloids…
“There’s not nearly as much stealing and obsessing and middle-of-the-night secret calls to ex-boyfriends and scheming and cheating [as they lead you to believe]. Most of it’s just bull–t, however entertaining.”

On the power of Twitter…
Demi: “I saw Twitter as this opportunity to connect with people and actually show a side of myself that is much lighter. And all of a sudden people were getting to know me, and I was connecting with people. At its core, Twitter is about sharing, and I think that in life we never feel better or more energized than when we’re giving to someone else.”

On what she gets giddy about…
“I’m an old-school romantic, so I get giddy when Ashton shows me another way of saying ‘I love you’—any little thought or gesture that’s playful or sweet. We leave Post-it notes for each other; some have been sticking up for five or six years! For me, it’s the small things.”

On the breakthrough moment she had while in Egypt (it inspired her son’s name too!)…
Alicia: “It was a time of transition. There were certain people [I was working with] who weren’t right. I had friends who weren’t right anymore. I was tired and I had overworked myself and burnt myself out. So I went to Egypt by myself. When I saw what was built there, it made me understand how powerful we are, that we can create anything. And I felt like I needed to create things that were timeless too.”

New mom Alicia Keys stepped out in a few swimsuits this weekend while at a friend’s guesthouse in Miami, FL. One thing is for sure, her baby boy wasn’t too far away from his mama at any time.

The “Fallin” singer sported a super-cute purple bikini while she carried her son Egypt Daoud Dean in her arms, and even played with him in the pool for a bit. That’s not the only suit we saw her in this weekend!

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz Have a Baby’s Day Out in NYC (PHOTOS)

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz took their little boy around the Big Apple! The R&B music makers showed off their son Egypt Daoud Dean who is less than a year old on Thursday, July 7.

Swizz, dressed in a pink polo shirt and gray jeans, was all smiles as he held onto his son as they walked to the car. Egypt’s mom Alicia looked just as happy in her white jeans and tank-top as she too couldn’t keep her hands off the baby.

While in NYC, Swizz performed a show in Brooklyn for the Sounds Like Paper concert on Wednesday night that also featured Joe Jonas. Also in NYC, Alicia was honored with her own wax figure at the famed Madame Tussads’ Wax Musuem. “I actually think it’s really, really good!” she told MTV News. “I was looking close up: It’s like my eyebrows are for real, and it’s like my eyes are for real, and the bone structure of my chin, like, ‘Look, that’s my chin! That’s my jaw!’”

There have been a lot of firsts for Alicia Keys in the last year!

Between her marriage to rapper Swizz Beats, welcoming her first child and now being honored with her first wax figure, life couldn’t be better for the “Falling” singer.

Making its debut at the famed Madame Tussads’ wax musuem in NYC, Alicia proudly posed with the likes of herself on Tuesday morning.

The figure is rocking all leather, while the real deal was wearing a more summery, green-hued dress. Looking good, mama!

“I actually think it’s really, really good!” she told MTV News. “I was looking close up: It’s like my eyebrows are for real, and it’s like my eyes are for real, and the bone structure of my chin, like, ‘Look, that’s my chin! That’s my jaw!’

Lady Gaga Named 2010′s Most Charitable Celebrity

Charity organization DoSomething.org has named Lady Gaga No. 1 on its new “Top 20 Celebrities Gone Good” list due to her outstanding work as a gay rights activist in the last year.

The pop singer publicly called for the repeal of the US military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy months ago, which was signed by President Obama on December 22. She was also very outspoken in her support of same-sex marriage and raised money towards HIV/AIDS prevention worldwide.

Keep a Child Alive founder Alicia Keys raised $1.1 million with her Digital Death Campaign, which earned her the runner up spot. She and her new husband Swizz Beatz also went the extra mile by adopting a South African village where they plan to build schools.

Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, Taylor Swift, Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Degeneres filled out the list’s top 10, each with generous contributions of their own.

Keep a Child Alive Reaches $1 Million Goal

Your favorite celebrities have officially been digitally resurrected!

After six days of being “Digitially Dead,” celebs like Kim Kardashian, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake are free to Tweet and Facebook to their heart’s content, since $1 million was raised for “Keep a Child Alive.” (According to TMZ, billionaire pharmaceutical mogul Stewart Rahr was instrumental in helping the campaign reach its goal, donating $500,000 to the campaign today.)

Kim and Khloe Kardashian had a lot of time on their hands during the five days they went without Facebook and Twitter, and the girls actually managed to get a lot done.

Khloe blogged:

“Hi dolls! I’m soooooo happy to be digitally alive again LOL. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and bought my life back, it was for a truly worthy cause and it was an honor to participate. As you all know, I’m quite the blogaholic, tweetaholic and facebookaholic LOL. Basically, I love the internet, and it was no easy feat staying away for this long. I had to keep myself entertained somehow! So while I was digitally dead, I had quite a few crazy adventures. I hear Kim had a few of her own, head over to her blog to see what she was up to!”

Alicia Keys Shows Off Awesome Post-Baby Body

Alicia Keys certainly doesn’t look like a woman who gave birth just six weeks ago!

The “No One” singer looked svelte and confident as she walked the red carpet at the New York screening of Biutiful on Wednesday night. The 29-year-old singer welcomed son Egypt with husband Swizz Beatz on October 14.

Alicia recently “died” digitally as part of her Keep a Child Alive charity. She and other A-list celebs like Kim Kardashian and Lady Gaga all ditched Twitter and Facebook on December 1 in honor of World AIDS Day. The stars pledged to return to the social networking sites once text donations to Keep a Child Alive reach the $1 million mark. Send those donations to keep your favorite stars alive!
