Just nearly a month following her DUI arrest after hitting a police cruiser, the 26-year-old She’s The Man star sideswiped yet another vehicle while driving around Los Angeles earlier this Friday. Bynes’ black Range Rover allegedly sideswiped a pick-up truck at an intersection near Crescent Heights and Melrose Blvd. and continued to drive off without stopping. The other driver followed Amanda’s car and quickly informed the police of the incident.

“At 4:25 p.m., we were notified of a possible hit-and-run,” LAPD Sgt. Ben Zucker told People. “The caller followed Miss Bynes for a short distance to a gas station.”

Was Amanda charged with anything this time around?

Reportedly, the damage was so minor that police decided not make any arrest and simply took a traffic report before sending her on her way.

“It turned out the damage to the pick-up truck was so minor that it was very plausible she had no idea that she hit anyone,” Sgt. Zucker added. “There were no arrests made and no one was injured.”

According to the LAPD, Bynes was cooperative and there was no indication she was under the influence.

The actress’s driving records have not been the best recently. On April 5, an intoxicated Amanda was pulled over after scrapping a police cruiser in Hollywood. She was later released after posting $5,000 bail. Just days later, Bynes was seen texting and driving outside the Chateau Marmont — an illegal offense in the state of California.

“People now know that she’s a regular girl next door as opposed to the perfect girl next door,” Monica says. We can relate!

Admittedly, Monica says, “the harder it is to comeback from her fall from grace [when you have a clean cut image].”

Her advice would be to leverage the shift in perspective to her advantage. “I would absolutely suggest that she take on some edgier roles,” Monica adds. “Maybe incorporate more of her authentic self.”

For the immediately future, “I would have her do an interview [to talk about the DUI],” she says. “I would want her to give people more insight to who she is authentically. And to apologize that she put people in danger.”

Monica sees this as a chance for Amanda to mature a bit in the public eye. “It’s actually a great opportunity,” she says. “Nobody got hurt, it was minor, but I think if people are clutching their pearls it’s a good time to say ‘I’m not as perfect as you think I am.’”

The actress, who just turned 26 on April 3, was texting while driving as she headed to another nightclub, Greystone Manor. In the state of California, it is illegal to text on your phone while driving. 

Amanda was arrested in the early morning on March 30 when she attempted pass a cop. Instead of successfully passing the car, she side-swiped the vehicle. The police then pulled her over where she was arrested for driving under the influence, with bail being set at $5,000 that she posted and was released.

There were also reports about a month ago that Amanda was pulled over for talking on her cell phone, and attempted to drive away. Guess some people never learn, as is evident in this latest photo.

“She was not drunk,” papa Rick Bynes tells People. “I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.”

According to the doting dad, reports that she sideswiped a a police cruiser were out of whack. He claims the officer was at fault for pulling out in front of the 26-year-old actress while she was making a turn. He went on to say she was arrested because she was “she was upset and very emotional.”

Her dad adds: “She is a good girl. She just chooses not to work, and because of that, people go after her.”

The last she was spotted, Amanda was jetting out of the West Hollywood Police Station after posting bail.

The 26-year-old actress was arrested for a DUI early Friday morning after side-swiping a police car. She was released from a West Hollywood, Calif., jail on Friday after posting $5,000 bail — and you can see all the photos in the gallery, above.

Still wearing her clothes from the night before, the What I Like About You star was sporting some pink locks, along with a black blazer and a classy Chanel bag.

This wasn’t Amanda’s first run-in with the law. Last month, she was pulled over for talking on her cell phone, but quickly sped away before she could be ticketed by police.

To the joy of nostalgic twentysomethings everywhere, Nickelodeon has brought back the classics! Debuting this past Monday, July 25^th, TeenNick will re-air their most beloved ‘90s series on weeknights from 12AM until 2AM.  The programming block is appropriately named The ‘90s Are All That, and Kenan Thompson, former All That star and one-half of the comedy show Kenan & Kel, will host the retro line-up.

The ‘90s shows, which include classics such as Doug, The Secret World of Alex Mack and Rocko’s Modern Life, debuted to record ratings for the channel. Among viewers from 18 to 34 years old, TeenNick’s primary late night demographic, the program attracted ratings approximately 850% higher than the channel’s previous average. What a hit!

Original Report: Is Liam Hemsworth moving on from Miley Cyrus with Amanda Bynes?

The hunky Australian actor was spotted snuggling up with the former Nickelodeon star at the Trousdale nightclub in West Hollywood, California. In a pair of photos posted on OceanUp, Liam is seen taking photos of Amanda in a sexy black dress and later wrapping his arms around her as the two sit at a table.

Liam and Miley split up back in August but reunited for a hot on-again, off-again romance in the months following. The pair officially ended their relationship just a few weeks before Miley’s 18th birthday in November.

Amanda just recently broke up with rapper Kid Cudi. The pair reportedly split because Amanda tweeted too much about her relationship with the rapper. Amanda’s Twitter addiction might pose a problem for Liam who famously made his then-girlfriend Miley delete her Twitter account. Watch your tweets with Liam, Amanda!

The former avid Twitter user abandoned his 3.7 million followers earlier this week.

A spokesperson for John said that the singer-songwriter closed down his account because his Battle Studies Tour is “now at a close and a return to the studio is planned.” The spokesperson says that John will continue to connect with fans through his Tumblr. In one recent entry, John said that it is “time to (try to) disappear for awhile.”

His last tweets were on September 11th, when he discussed the terrorist attacks and Koran-burning minister. saying that “the 9th anniversary of 9/11 feels more like the first” and said that “there was healing and then the stitches popped.” When one follower replied that the unrest was due to “that stupid [Koran-burning] minister in Gainsville [Florida]” John tweeted back that the claim is “like saying one satanist can end Xmas.” John closed down his account shortly after that last tweet.

John was one of Twitter’s biggest celebrity users, often using Twitter to clarify rumors.

Quitting Twitter may be the biggest new celeb trend: Demi Lovato recently announced that she was taking a “break” from the micro-blogging service and Amanda Bynes announced her retirement from Twitter last week.

That’s a far cry from her June 19 Twitter tirade (Twitterade?) in which the ‘Hairspray’ starlet unleashed a slew of Tweets, proclaiming her distaste for the profession she’s been in since childhood.

Conveniently, Bynes is unretiring just in time to promote her new movie, Easy A — which she promptly plugged after announcing her return to acting. Give the girl credit for knowing how to keep the bossman happy.
