The network just unveiled its fall schedule, which includes series return dates for The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, America’s Next Top Model and more.

Plus, new series premiere dates for the much-anticipated superhero series, Arrow, and the debut of Beauty and the Beast, which is loosely based on the 1987 CBS series. Then, there’s Emily Owens, M.D. – think Grey’s Anatomy for the younger crowd.

The catwalks are set and the cameras are ready for a new cycle of America’s Next Top Model.

Tyra Banks‘ hit show will soon be starting cycle 17 (Wow!), and to spice things up a bit, there’s a twist on this season: the girls are all all-stars from the previous 16 cycles!

One of the returning models will be Dominique from Cycle 10. She may have placed fourth back then, but she’s now excited to be back and try to win the whole thing. Check out her ANTM interview above! 

Joining Dominique for this season will be Isis, who place 10th during Cycle 11. While Dominique shows her excitement for the all-star cycle, Isis shares that she is returning more confident than ever. Check out what she’s been up to in the video below!

The hit CW series America’s Next Top Model is back and better than ever! This time the show is featuring an “All-Star” cast, but what exactly does it take to be an ANTM all-star?

If you’ve caught any of the seasons of America’s Next Top Model, we’re guessing there was a contestant that you wanted to stick around simply because she had an awesome personality. If we’re right, then this season was made for you! The judges are looking for something a little different this time, overlooking typical model traits and giving attention to the girls that have “celebrity potential” with their charming personas. Sounds like a battle of congeniality!

The claws will be out as America’s Next Top Model returns for cycle 17. But this time, 14 of our favorite gals from previous cycles are returning to prove that they can make it in the world of modeling as they strive to earn the prestigious title of “America’s Next Top Model” that eluded them in the past.

So who’s back to rock the catwalk?  Brittany Brower, Bianca Golden, Dominique Reighard, Isis King, Sheena Sakai and Alexandria Everett — just to name a few. Plus there is quite a lineup of guest judges, including the Kardashians, Kathy Griffin and Nicki Minaj. And in case you’re as excited as we are about the All-Star season, we have brand new promotional pics of the models that should tide you over until the Sept. 14 premiere.

Among the prizes offered this season are a spread in Vogue Italia, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, a campaign with Express, and the opportunity to serve as a guest correspondent on Extra.

Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad are about to get judgmental.

People magazine reports that Conrad and Kardashian will both be joining the judges’ panel for the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model, albeit on separate episodes. Conrad will appear on the September 16 episode of the show, while Kim will join Tyra Banks and the rest of the merry gang on October 21.

The guest appearances fit into the overall scheme of the upcoming cycle, which premieres September 8 and will gave a different member of the fashion community serve as a guest judge on each episode.

Let’s hope they sign on Karl Lagerfeld to lash out with his acid tongue at the contestants.

Now that she’s been tossed off the judging panel of America’s Next Top Model, Paulina Porizkova apparently feels free to lash out at her former employer, Tyra Banks.

The former model has taken to Access Hollywood‘s The Billy Bush Show to clear the air and dish some dirt on the atmosphere on the popular show, particularly as it pertains to Banks’ chronic tardiness.

“I must admit I was having a little bit of an issue with Tyra being late for every judging,” Porizkova reveals. “It’s six hours later and I feel like I am being told my time is not as valuable as hers. They pointed out that I should shut up and be grateful for the job and that Tyra is really busy.”

Porizkova adds, “I think that my little hissy fits about ‘Well, we are all here on time. Why can’t [Banks]?’ didn’t go over all that well.”

As for whether the fact that she was the only female on the judging panel ever became an issue, Porizkova says no—because Banks wasn’t really concerned about anybody but herself.

“I don’t think that in Tyra’s universe that’s even a consideration. I don’t think she cares,” Paulina theorizes. “I’m not even sure she was aware that I existed way out there in Siberia, much like I am not sure she knew [former ANTM judge] Twiggy existed.”

Me-owww!

Janice Dickinson had quite an eventful night at Hollywood’s Nobu restaurant on Wednesday evening. After perhaps imbibing a few too many drinks, the supermodel got into a hilarious scuffle with the waiting photographers. She even attempted to hit them with her scarf!

Tyra Banks truly is a miracle worker.

First she helped Cycle 12 contestant Isis King fulfill her dream of gender reassignment. 

And now, it seems, her healing presence has helped to restore a Cycle 12 aspirant’s fertility.

America’s Next Top Model contestant Tahlia Brookins appeared on The Tyra Banks Show on Wednesday  to inform her former mentor that she’s pregnant, despite the fact that she’d been told several times in the past that she would never conceive.

Brookins, an 18-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona, is a burn victim whose injuries were supposed to prevent her from ever bearing a child.

“I was told multiple times over and over that I couldn’t get pregnant just from my scars holding me back, other physical things going on with my body,” Brookins told Banks, according to Us Magazine. “I was always told I was never going to be able to conceive children.”

What’s more, the pregnancy has brought Brookins and the father’s child—her ex-boyfriend and AMC Theaters employee David Michaels Jr.—back together, after the two broke up following Brookins’ elimination from the show.

“Yes, we have complications we are working through right now,” Michaels tells Banks, “but I know we will be able to get through it as a couple because we both still are in love.”

Oh, Ty-Ty, you’ve done it once again!

But Banks wasn’t content to improve Brookins’ life by merely giving her the gift of motherhood and reuniting her with her true love—she also bestowed the mom-to-be with a stroller, onesies and baby blankets to help prepare her for the blessed arrival.

Sigh; is there no end to Tyra Banks’ generosity?

Yet another pretty face has been bounced from America’s Next Top Model—and this time it wasn’t one of the contestants.

E! Online reports that ANTM judge Paulina Porizkova—who replaced Twiggy as a judge on Cycle 10 of the popular show—has gotten the ax.

“Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles? Because I am looking for a job,” Porizkova revealed while taping Craig Ferguson‘s Late, Late Show on Tuesday. “Because I was fired by America’s Next Top Model on my birthday [April 9].”

The 44-year-old stunner added that the firing occurred via a phone call. Ouch!

“The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed, that America’s Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me,” she revealed.

Double-ouch!

Forget the riotous raucousness of potential America’s Next Top Model contestants—Tyra Banks has more personally pressing issues to deal with now.

The Associated Press reports that the trial of Banks’ alleged stalker, Brady Green, begins in New York today.

Green, a 38-year-old resident of Dublin, Georgia, is accused of stalking and harassing the Top Model host beginning in January 2008.

Police arrested Green on March 18 of last year, after he attempted to visit Banks at the New York building where The Tyra Banks Show is filmed. According to a criminal complaint, Green also showed up several times at Banks’ Los Angeles studio and asked to speak to her.

When confronted by police in New York, Green told cops, “I know [Banks]. She knows me. We had a thing together. I sent her flowers I sent her cards.” 

Green then asked police, “Should I plead no contest? I’ve got satellites watching me and recording us.”

Green, who has pleaded not guilty to stalking, criminal trespass and harassment, faces up to 90 days in jail if he’s convicted of fourth-degree stalking.

Banks is expected to testify at the trial. Perhaps now Green can hand-deliver those flowers to her himself.

Since America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks announced that the upcoming season would be offering spots to young women 5′ 7″ and under, the decision has been met with some sharp criticism.

Vogue recently discussed the new height requirements, saying it has been met with strong “derision from the American fashion community.”

But Tyra is not one to take criticism sitting down, OK! Magazine reports. At the 20th annual GLAAD media awards in New York, Banks addressed the criticism, noting, “The majority of the fashion industry is about tall girls, but the majority of the fashion industry is not about black women—so with America’s Next Top Model, I opened it for race, and now I’m opening it for height too.”

Tyra’s comrades, including Jay Manuel, also came to her defense. “The fashion industry is quite fascinating to me,” Manuel added at the GLAAD event. “Typically people will look at a model on the runway and say she has to have a certain physicality, that makes her a potential top model. But this is also the same industry that decided to take short Kate Moss and make her a superstar.”

Valid points, Jay. The next Kate Moss could very well be lurking around the corner. Just in time too, because it doesn’t look like she’s in any condition to be photographed anytime soon.

Isis King made headlines as the first transgender contestant to compete on America’s Next Top Model.

She didn’t win the prize, but she served as an inspiration to many.

Host Tyra Banks took a particular interest in Isis’ story, and offered to pay for King’s final gender reassignment surgery after she was sent packing on America’s Next Top Model.

On Monday’s episode of The Tyra Banks Show, Isis makes her first public appearance since her transistion, and she’s thrilled.

“I got the bathing suit issue out of the way,” King tells Banks on the episode, according to Us Magazine. “I feel very confident and sexy.” (Isis exited from Cycle 11 of ANTM after panicking about wearing a bathing suit during a swimming pool photo-shoot.)

“It’s almost like I was supposed to have it,” King says about her surgery. “Although it was swelling and bruising and everything, automatically I felt more comfortable. I was ready to walk around the house in my little shorts. I just felt more confident.”

As an added bonus? Isis’ boyfriend, whom she met on MySpace before her surgery, proposes to her on the episode!

“Yes!” King says. “Oh my Goodness. Oh my goodness. Are you serious?”

How often do you see a fairytale ending like that?

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 8 winner Jaslene Gonzalez is paid to be pretty, not smart. Which is a good thing for the 22-year-old beauty.

OK! Magazine asked Gonzalez at a recent premiere how she felt about the riot that erupted at an ANTM casting call last weekend in New York City.

Gonzalez, not having heard about the melee, initially endorsed what had happened.

“I feel like it’s just part of the excitement of the show,” she replied. “You never know what to expect. It’s all types of characters and personalities. Why not cause a riot? It makes great TV,” she replied.

Uh, Jas? There was a stampede, with people running and screaming. And six injuries, complete with arrests.

Gonzalez seemed to think that maybe it was some sort of new challenge that Tyra Banks, and Mr. and Ms. Jay had cooked up to test model hopefuls.

Someone finally filled the Latina beauty in on what had taken place.

“It’s very unfortunate. I feel bad,” she quickly backtracked. “I wish everyone the best, and for everything to happen naturally and well for the girls. But for something like that to happen, it’s unfortunate. You wish safety and protection and the best.”

Whew! For a minute there, it sounded like Jaslene was the first anarchist winner of ANTM.

UPDATE: In a statement made to Us Magazine today, Banks says that this weekend’s near-tragedy won’t prevent her from giving every aspiring model in attendance a crack at the big time.

“To all the Top Model hopefuls who were affected by the New York casting, we are doing everything we can to make sure that ALL the girls who weren’t seen, get an opportunity to audition—we’ll update you on our plans very soon.”

Banks went on to state, “I encourage each girl to come out ready to rock the runway and show off their fiercest pose. I’m rooting for all of you!”

None of the challenges on America’s Next Top Model have ever been as risky as this.

A casting call for the 13th cycle of ANTM ended in a near-riot on Saturday at the Park Central Hotel in Manhattan, with six injuries sustained and three arrests made.

The New York Times reports that the melee began when the hopefuls, all of whom turned out for host Tyra Banks‘ recent call for women 5′ 7″ and under, showed up in numbers far too large for casting officials to corral safely.

Several reports stated that tension arose when Top Model potentials were informed that they weren’t allowed to get out of line without losing their place. Girls were supposedly forced to pee in cups while in line. Ewww!

Despite police setting up barricades, fights began to break out amid the assembled ANTM hopefuls.

And at the height of the confusion, a car overheating reportedly caused someone to scream, “There’s a bomb!”—at which time a stampede broke out, with barricades being trampled and people being injured.

Two women and one man were booked on charges of disorderly conduct and inciting to riot.

Ty-Ty probably should have thrown on a wig and attended to this mess! Instead, she released a joint statement with ANTM producer Ken Mok.

“We are concerned by the events that occurred Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of the New York City casting call for the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model. At this time, we still don’t know all the details of what happened or what triggered the incident. We appreciate the efforts of the NYPD and will assist them in any way possible in this matter.”

The premiere of America’s Next Top Model‘s cycle 12 aired last night on the CW, and the breakout contestant of this season in the weirdness category would seem to be bloody nose enthusiast Allison Harvard.

Why?

Not only does she love blood, but the wide-eyed model is a dead ringer for The Bride of Chucky!

Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model premieres on March 4. And one of the most…interesting…new additions is Allison Harvard, an aspiring model with a bloodlust.

In the clip above, Harvard explains to Top Model host Tyra Banks and the Jays that she is obsessed with blood.

Yikes.

Allison, who describes herself as having “scary doll eyes,” told Tyra that she has a “really big fascination with blood” and finds nosebleeds to be “really pretty.”

The other girls better break out the crucifixes and garlic this cycle! Tyra—put on a turtleneck, girl!

Harvard goes on to say that she’s “really interested in hemophilia” and notes that she might “give off a strange vibe.” No, really?

When Banks reveals that she suffered nosebleeds as a child, Allison’s one-word answer (“Jealous!”) and crazed eyes are chilling.

Perhaps Allison can take the role in New Moon that AnnaLynne McCord had to vacate?

Clay Aiken, 30, will be guesting on the 12th cycle of America’s Next Top Model in an episode where he will help the contestants work on their acting ability.

Aiken, traditionally known as a singer and newly out gay father, has honed his own theatrical skills on Broadway in Spamalot.

EW reports that Aiken will guest in an April episode of the long-running reality pose-off/ bloodbath that has him overseeing an acting challenge and then serving as a judge on the panel.

R&B singer Ciara will also appear in the same episode.

The show’s new cycle kicks off on Feb. 25 on the CW.

Chic cigars all around—America’s Next Top Model judge and fashion photographer Nigel Barker is a father twice over.

Barker and his model wife Christen Chin welcomed a baby girl last night in New York, Us Weekly reports.  Seven-pound, eleven-ounce Jasmine Barker made her appearance just after 5 p.m.

“Jasmine and Crissy are doing extremely well!” gushed the 36-year-old lens guru.

Jasmine joins two-year-old Jack in the Barker household.

The second-time parents had been prepping for another little boy. In September, Us spoke with Barker’s agent George Cominskie, who revealed the couple was told at thier first ultrasound that the baby was a male.  A second scan turned up female.

On the inevitable question of Nigel’s Next Top Model boss Tyra Banks becoming godmother: “I think she will be,” said Barker. “And Miss J [Alexander] will be fairy godmother.”

Despite boasting such eclectic guests as Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, and the Kardashians, The Tyra Banks Show is moving to the CW next season after four years of airing in syndication.

Tyra, 34, knows that this downturn cannot be any fault of her own.  Blame the economy. Reuters reports that “stations are forced to make budget cuts amid the economic downturn.”

Tyra’s talker is also being trimmed down from 34 weeks of production to 26 next season.

But it’s not all pixelated doom and gloom for the . The CW is set to renew Banks’, 34, other series, America’s Next Top Model, for its 13th cycle.
