Amy Adams has shown off her singing chops in both Enchanted and The Muppets, but will soon star in a production of Into the Woods this summer during Public Theater’s 50th anniversary Shakespeare in the Park production, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Previews begin on July 23, while it officially kicks off on August 9. The show, which takes different fairy tales and weaves them together, first became a hit when it debuted in 1986.

This 37-year-old Academy Award nominee wouldn’t be the only star to hit the boards!

American Horror Story star Kate Mara looked gorgeous in a little black dress and was seen hanging with West Coast Editor Krista Smith. As you know, Kate’s sister Rooney Mara is nominated for Best Actress this year for her role in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Shameless stars, and real life couple, Emmy Rossum and Tyler Jacob Moore hit the party looking adorable together.

Rounding out the celeb-packed soiree: Amy Adams, Anna Kendrick, Rashida Jones, Hayden Panettiere, and Olivia Munn.

The party was thrown in support of All It Takes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to create sustainable and positive change both locally and globally. It was co-founded in 2010 by Shailene Woodley and her mother, Lori Woodley.

Academy Award nominated actress Amy Adams was seen out and about in LA on Thursday, and had the cutest accessory ever — her daughter Aviana! — by her side.

We were already jealous of Amy when she starred in The Muppets with Jason Segel, but it looks like she has another dreamy new co-star.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Amy will star along side Justin Timberlake in, Trouble With the Curve, a baseball drama directed by Clint Eastwood.

Sounds intriguing! Maybe another Oscar nod for Amy is on the horizon.

Who can forget adorable Kermit the Frog and the diva-esque Miss Piggy from the beloved Muppets TV series and spinoffs? In the franchise’s first theatrical release in over 12 years, The Muppets starring Jason Segel and Amy Adams rekindles Kermit, Gonzo the Great, Fozzie Bear and the whole gang with loyal fans and introduces the characters to a brand new generation of fans.

In the film, oil is found underneath the Muppet Theater and an oilman (played by Chris Cooper) is hatching a plan to demolish it unless Gary and Mary (Segel and Adams) raise $10 million to save the theater.

Debuting this weekend is legendary director Martin Scorsese‘s first 3D film, Hugo about young boy named Hugo who ends up as an orphan living a secret life in walls of a Paris train station. When Hugo encounters a broken automaton, an eccentric girl (Chloe Moretz), and the cold man (Sacha Baron Cohen) who runs the city’s toy shop, he is in for a mysterious yet fantastic adventure.

Garnering lots of Oscar buzz and also opening this week is My Week With Marilyn, starring Michelle Williams in a standout performance as the infamous Marilyn Monroe. Check out the trailer below:

A teaser poster was released back in May, but another one has made it’s way and it’s quite a feast for the eyes.

From Animal, Fozzie and Beaker, all your favorite Muppets are on display, but there are a few key characters missing from this particular poster.

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on November 23, just in time for Thanksgiving.

When it comes to the red carpet, these celebrities definitely bring their “A” game — the accessories game, that is. While the “fake out” trailers showed the beloved Muppets putting their own spin on other movies such as The Hangover and Green Lantern, this trailer shows us what we can expect from the upcoming film.

Details of the movie have started to slowly unravel, such as the plot line of Jason’s character tryings to say the Muppets’ theater from being torn down by the film’s baddie, played by Chris Cooper. Other than that, we’ll just have to watch the trailer to see if we can decipher any other clues.

The Muppets, which also stars Amy Adams, hits theaters on November 23, just in time for Thanksgiving. Check out the trailer above!

The film won’t drop until November, but this should be able to hold over hardcore fans, at least for the time being.

So, what can we expect from the movie?

While this teaser doesn’t give too much away, we have to admit, we were just a tad confused when the trailer started.

It tries to fool viewers into thinking they’re watching a trailer for some sappy rom-com, but in actuality, you’re watching the trailer for the light-hearted, family fun film. Well played, Mr. Segel, well played.

This new of sedan has all of Hollywood revved. In fact, this vehicle was a staple during this year’s bust award season, chauffeuring countless celebs around town.James Franco, Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Wahlberg, Hayden Panettiere and Natalie Portman, to name a few, all hit up events in true green style.

Natalie for one is a fan.  “It’s good that there are now vehicles with alternative fuel options,” she said, “from clean diesel, hybrid and even hydrogen, that are becoming widely available,” stated the Oscar-winning actress.

The S400 is essentially an electric car, fueled by compressed hydrogen. It boasts 86.6 city-highway miles per gallon, and has a range of up to 240 miles. In LA traffic, that’s a huge plus. This lavish vehicle can even be re-fueled in as few as three minutes and produces water as its only emission. But don’t think you can run out and snag one just jet, unfortunately there are only 70 S400s currently available in California.

The Oscar nominee wore a navy blue L’Wren Scott sequined dress with pretty cap sleeves. Amy accessorized the dress with a silver and emerald Cartier necklace that perfectly complimented the deep blue of her dress.
