Deadline is reporting that Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz are all set to hit the big screen in One Hit Wonders, which will be written and directed by Glee‘s Ryan Murphy. The rough plot of the film is that the three ladies are washed up 90s pop stars, who decide to form a super group in the present day. The idea was conjured up by the quartet during a dinner at LA’s Soho House, and since we know how musical Reese and Gwyneth are (Walk the Line and Glee, anyone?), this is sure to be a fun flick! And it probably doesn’t hurt that both GP and Reese have Oscars under their belts.

Also, a very funny Saturday Night Live fella is expected to help out on the music front. Any guesses as to who?

Andy Samberg and his Lonely Island cohorts are in talks to produce the tunes for this flick. With hits like “I Just Had Sex” and “The Creep,” we have a feeling this is going to be our new favorite movie!

Also, these boys are known to collaborate with Justin Timberlake (Cam’s ex!) regularly, so could we be getting a JT cameo, too? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Other details such as start of production and release date are still unknown.

“What?! Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Day,” Andy tells his coworker Emma. She replies, “Yeah and neither of us have dates.” Andy quips back as Emma looks at him longingly as he walks away, “Too bad we’re just platonic friends.”

The spoof is making fun of the romantic comedies that boast all-star casts with numerous story lines. The 30 Rock joke trailer also features Nick Cannon, Jenna Maroney and a slew of other stars.

If you’re not convinced this is a terrific spoof, check out the trailer for New Year’s Eve (starring Lea Michele, Zac Efron, Ludacris, Katherine Heigl, Bon Jovi, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Josh Duhamel and Sarah Jessica Parker … to name a few) and then be the judge!

In a digital short with SNL player Andy Samberg, Perry stumbles upon a homeless Damon and deranged Kilmer. The four stars then become an unlikely quartet who steal socks, dig through trash, and play russian roulette.

This isn’t Katy’s first time acting on the Saturday sketch show though. A while back, Katy poked fun at Sesame Street when the show famously axed Katy’s appearance because they thought the songstress was showing too much cleavage. Katy played a naive teenager who, despite her busty chest, unknowingly wears low-cut tops to read to children at the local library.

Katy Perry, who is hosting this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, was seen filming (what we assume is) a Digital Short with Andy Samberg in NYC on Friday, and they were joined by a very special guest! Matt Damon was dressed in clothes that made him appear to be homeless, as he noshed on a piece of pizza.

We wonder if this will be as funny as a certain Matt Damon video from a couple years ago.

A-Garf jumped into action to defend his honor when funnyman Andy Samberg hijacked Emma’s skit and grilled her about the upcoming Spider-man movie.

While Emma and Andrew have yet to officially confirmed their relationship, it’s clear that the couple have great onscreen chemistry together!

The two were previously spotted partying together at the American Museum Of Natural History’s Annual Museum Gala in New York City on Friday. Although Emma and Andrew made separate red carpet arrivals, they found themselves amidst each other’s company once safely inside.

“I was out shopping with a friend. They told me and I burst out crying so loudly — that weird kind of cry you only want to do in private — people thought I had come unglued. I just started running. I ran into the hanging rugs section and hid behind the rugs and cried like a baby.”

The Saturday Night Live funny man stopped by the show and layered up in a parka to make some baked Alaska.

When Martha asked Andy about his baking history he said:

This is already the most cooking I’ve ever done. I got really into making breakfast when I was in college. Well I would take like a pop tart, I would put it in the toaster, and then I would just hit toast.

He also walked away with a blow torch the domestic goddess used to make the actual dessert and said it was, “like some A – Team stuff.” Score!

On the heels of a new modeling gig and a tongue-in-cheek VMA skit, LiLo may be bringing her comeback tour to Saturday Night Live. According to The New York Daily News, Lindsay is in talks to host the December 4 edition of the legendary NBC comedyfest.

Ninety-minutes in the SNL spotlight would give Lohan a shot at resurrecting her career, but she won’t have time for the gig unless she abides by stringent post-jail rules (such as weekly drug tests and 12-step meetings) set to be lifted Nov. 1.

Lindsay has hosted the sketch comedy show twice before, in 2004 and 2006. Perhaps this time she could even find a showmance with an eligible SNL comic? Watch out, Andy Samberg!

Don’t get your hopes just yet; an SNL rep wouldn’t comment on a potential LiLo appearance, telling the Daily News the show only comments on hosts via official announcements.

The ads, which feature Gabby and Andy Samberg, are hopefully a glimpse of what’s to come from Gabby’s show. A lot of people were doubting that she would be able to pull off the demanding comedy show but it looks like she is ready to prove them wrong.

Gabby alternated between lusting over Andy to threatening him with violence. That may not sound very funny, but with Gabby’s bubbly personality it somehow works. We’re just glad they avoided the obvious “fat girl” allusions and jokes. SNL might be fun to watch again!
