The band’s former bassist, Mikey Welsh, passed away at the age of 40 on October 8 in a Chicago hotel room. While the loss of Mikey is sad in and of it’s self, the circumstances around his death are down right eery.

On September 26, he tweeted:

“dreamt i died in chicago next weekend (heart attack in my sleep). need to write my will today.”

Not too much is known around what may have been the cause for his death, although The Daily Mail is reporting that it was a possible drug overdose.

Mikey isn’t the first celeb who has been lost before their time. Check out other celebs who were just simply gone too soon.

Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, a psychiatrist who flew down to be at Smith’s side in the Bahamas after her son Daniel’s 2006 death, was also found guilty on a conspiracy charge, as well two other charges related to a Vicodin prescription given to Smith.

The verdicts were handed down after 12 days of jury deliberation and more than two months of testimony. The prosecution testified that Smith failed to say no to Smith’s request for drugs because he wanted to remain part of Smith’s celebrity entourage.

Smith died on February 8, 2007, at the age of 39 of “combined drug intoxication,” in particular the sleep aid chloral hydrate, which was found to be the “major component.”

Los Angeles County Superior Judge Robert Perry has set sentencing for January 6, 2011. Both Stern and Eroshevich face up to three years each in prison.

The friend, Jackie Hatten, was selling used underwear on eBay that she claims were once owned (and worn) by Anna.

The items include bras, panties, garter belts, nail polish, bedding, and a makeup brush.

Like any reasonable person, you might be wary of buying a celebrity’s used underwear on eBay because the items might be fake (this isn’t the only reason to be turned off from buying celeb’s underwear on eBay) but Jackie has you covered: she has a “hand signed” certificate of authenticity to along with all of the items.

Unfortunately, the public will never be able to lay their hands on Anna’s undergarments: eBay removed the auction from their website earlier today.

New legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Anna Nicole Smith and her doctor were captured on film in several contorted sexual positions.

The docs reveal that Anna and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich are seen naked in a bathtub together, proving that the two had a personal relationship “that crossed the boundaries of professionalism.”

The documents describe:

“One photo showed both naked women embracing while looking at the camera. In another photo, Dr. Eroshevich is sitting between Anna Nicole Smith’s legs while Anna…was in a more reclined position.

In the third photo, Anna Nicole Smith has her ankles on each of Dr. Eroshevich’s shoulders while they are holding hands and their clasped hands are resting in the area of Anna Nicole Smith’s vagina posing for the camera.”

This is some kind of “alternative medicine,” eh?

People reports that Stern, who once claimed to be the father of Smith’s daughter Danielynn, was arrested in Whitier, CA and charged with conspiring to give drugs to Smith before her death two years ago.

Two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor, 40, and Khristine Eroshevich, 61, were also charged with felonies – having allegedly provided Smith with illegally prescribed medications.

Prosecutors claims that Stern and the doctors conspired to provide Anna with drugs between June 2004 and January 2007, and were also charged with “prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.”

Anna died of an overdose in February of 2007 at age 39.

Howard K. Stern is said to be out on $20,000 bail.

The lawyer co-starred with Smith on her E! reality show.

The blonde bombshell, a notorious figure in adult entertainment and pop culture, was found unresponsive in a Florida hotel on February 8, 2007. She was later pronounced dead at a local hospital, but the circus surrounding her demise took on a life of its own.

Not a traditional family? Oh, come on, Larry; you’re practically the Brady Bunch.

But relocation isn’t the only thing that Larry and Dannielynn have on the horizon.

Birkhead reveals that he’s signed on with E! to star in a new reality show that will air next year. The series will chronicle Birkhead’s life as he juggles parenting with running one of Smith’s businesses, all while home-schooling his 18-year-old nephew Justin, who lives with him.

(Home-schooling an 18-year-old? Hmm…)

Birkhead notes that filming the show won’t be a huge transition from the circus that his life currently is anyway: “My life in the last couple of years has been a reality show.”

Good for you, Larry! You have a mouth to feed now, and you’ll need money for food, clothes, school and anything else that a daughter of Anna Nicole Smith might someday require.

A Los Angeles judge delivered the ruling against Texas doctor Gerald Johnson and his wife, saying that Smith—who died in February 2007 at the age of 39—didn’t consent to the taping.

Johnson initially gave tapes documenting a 1994 surgery to a memorabilia dealer after Smith’s death. The footage was then edited into a five-minute version, accompanied by music that resembled the theme song from the movie Jaws.

Smith’s lawyer, Howard K. Stern, initially brought a lawsuit against the Johnsons in July 2007. In a declaration last year, Larry Birkhead, father of Smith’s daughter Daniellynn, said, “It was clear that Anna Nicole was unconscious during the videotaping, and even more disturbing, the videotape focused on areas of her nude body that were unrelated to the location of the surgery.”

While shopping at a Ralphs supermarket in Studio City, California, yesterday, the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith‘s two-year-old daughter Dannielynn took time out to peruse the latest issue of Us Weekly, which features the tyke on the cover.

The cover story discusses how Dannielynn’s first word was “mama,” and how the father and daughter have gotten their lives back on track since Smith’s February 2007 death.

It seems strange that Birkhead would have to read a magazine to find out what he and his daughter are up to. But then, compared to some of the things he’s done, this is actually pretty normal.

Heath Ledger was the most recent star who passed away before fulfilling his prime. He was  unavailable to witness one of his greatest performances, the Joker in The Dark Knight.

The ex-boyfriend of deceased professional bimbo Anna Nicole Smith and biological father to Smith’s daughter Dannielynn reportedly spent nearly $3,000 buying Smith’s lingerie at an auction on Saturday. Birkhead plans to give the sexy time garments to Dannielynn as a keepsake.

Us Magazine reports that Birkhead ponied up for a $1,800 pink bustier and a $1,000 white negligee worn by Smith during a Playboy shoot.

“I have a lot of history I have to put together that [Dannielynn] doesn’t really know about,” Birkhead explains. “Playboy was such a big part of Anna’s career.”
