The last time a new True Blood episode aired on HBO, it was a different season. It was summer, there was a bit of a bloodbath, and “Billith” was born.

Now, as fans count down the days until the season six premiere (June 16, if you don’t already have it on your calendar), HBO has unleashed a brand new trailer for the new season.

Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), Sookie (Anna Paquin) and the gang are back. Like previous seasons, there’s plenty of skin (how many times will Alcide take off his shirt this time around?), plenty of red and plenty of drama.

True Blood season six premieres on HBO June 16.

Everything is better in pairs — especially for new parents Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who welcomed twins into the world.

“The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed,” said a joint statement from their reps on Wednesday.

And the True Blood costars-turned-lovers certainly aren’t the first celebrities to get a double delivery from the stork.

So what other couples in Hollywood are proud parents to twins?

From Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, to Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, plenty of A-listers have had a dose of double baby joy.

On their third wedding anniversary, Carey and Cannon welcomed fraternal twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe in April 2011.

Parker and Broderick didn’t want to settle for one offspring: In June 20092, the Sex and the City star and her actor hubby welcomed twin girls Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge via surrogate, joining big brother James Wilkie.

And Brangelina added to their seemingly ever-growing brood in July 2008, when the actress gave birth to fraternal twins Vivienne and Knox in Nice, France.

Two of True Blood’s stars just got a double delivery — a little earlier than expected.

“We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world,” Paquin’s rep told Celebuzz.

How is the now-expanded family doing?

“The babies were born a few weeks early but are in good health, and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed,” said the rep.

English actor Moyer, 42, has two other children — daughter Lilac, 10, and son Billy, 12. The twins are the first for 30-year-old Paquin.

The couple, who met on their hit HBO show, were married in August 2010.

It’s a busy baby summer in Hollywood.

“Someone Like You” singer Adele, Matthew McConaughey‘s wife Camilla Alves and Homeland star Claire Danes are the the latest celebs to reveal their baby joy as they join many other starlets who are prepping to welcome new additions to their families.

One of the biggest jaw-dropping announcements came from Grammy winner Adele, 24, who announced her baby on the way with boyfriend Simon Konecki on her blog on June 29:

“I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together,” she wrote. “I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”

Another shocking and sweet surprise came from True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer who announced in April they were expecting their first child but it’s not just one bundle of joy — twins are on the way.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting a double delivery.

The on- and off-screen couple have revealed to Us Weekly that they’ll be welcoming twins in the fall. The babies will have two older siblings to show them the ropes: 42-year-old Moyer has Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12, from a previous relationship.

Even the cast members of True Blood are getting ready for the arrivals. In fact, Todd Lowe, who plays Terry Bellefleur, tells Celebuzz that the show is already accommodating the 29-year-old Paquin’s baby bump.

“I think she is due right before we start (filming) the sixth season,” he revealed. “I know that her stunt double has had more work than needed before. I know that, and they’re pretty creative with staging and costuming.”

Meanwhile, costar Sam Trammell, who plays Sam Merlott on the show, told Us of the news, “We sent them a special gift. It’s so interesting that True Blood has become, like, the ‘twins’ show.”

Trammell also has twins — 11-month-old Winston and Gus – with girlfriend Missy Yager.

Added the actor: “It’s harder having twins, but it’s all we know. So we’re trying to impart some decent wisdom [on Paquin and Moyer]. I told them to hold on tight!”

The waiting sucked, but wipe away those blood-filled tears because HBO’s True Blood is back and it’s just as awesome as ever.

Tara is a Vampire!
Rutina Wesley’s character was brutally shot in last season’s finale, and it wasn’t so much that she was turned into a vampire that was surprising (we knew she would still be a series regular), but the fact Pam agreed to be her maker was pretty shocking.

‘In(Vamp)Centuous!’ Eric Had Sex With His Sister
Definitely didn’t see that one coming. In the preview, we saw Alexander Skarsgard getting hot and heavy with a brunette, but color us shocked when it wasn’t an ex-fangbanger friend, but rather a relative. Still, no complaints about that scene here: “A Naked Eric” is a “Totally-Fine-By-Us Eric.”

All Pam, All the Time: True Blood One-Liners of the Night
Kristen Bauer absolutely stole the episode. From “f–ktard” to “super snatch,” Walmart-dressed Pam killed it on the premiere with her extra sassy vocabulary.

“Super snatch became our favorite phrase to use on set,” Bauer laughed while talking with Celebuzz at the premiere party. As if we weren’t in love with the cast already.

Jesus Lives (Sorta)
Jesus and Layfayette (Nelsan Ellis) are one of the show’s best couples, so part of us died when Jesus croaked during the season 4 finale. However, his missing body leaves us tons of hope. Plus, the fact co-star Kevin Alejandro (Jesus) teased, “no one is ever really dead in Bon Temps” when Celebuzz asked if he would be back this season.

Sookie Stays Single
Hey– it’s just for one episode so far, but that’s something! Not only does Anna Paquin‘s character go cold turkey when it comes to Eric and Bill, but she somehow passes on Alcide (Joe Manganiello), too.

Once Alcide learns that Russell is at large he goes to Sookie’s house and offers to take whisk her away under his protection. Are you stupid Sookie? (Have you’ve seen his abs?!) The Sackhouse siren declines his offer, mostly because Tara is laying in her backyard about to turn into a vampire. But also because of that other minor detail of murdering Debbie, his longtime love.

In honor of the upcoming fifth season of True Blood, Entertainment Weekly has released a special collection of 11 “fangtastic” True Blood covers featuring fan favorites Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Joe Manganiello.

The issue, on newsstands June 8, also features plenty of spoilers and much more from the cast.

What can we expect to happen in Bon Temps this season?

The Season 4 finale left many unanswered questions. Tara (Rutina Wesley) is still missing half her head, while vampires Bill (Moyer) and Eric (Skarsgard) have just taken out Nan, a prominent vampire rights activist, and the mischievous witch Marni is gone.

What’s next? Christopher Meloni joins the cast as Roman, a member of the Authority, while Scott Foley stirs up Terry (Todd Lowe)’s past and Sookie’s (Paquin) love life gets even more complicated.

Plus, there will be plenty of surprises with the reemergence of Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare), vampire king of Mississippi, whom everyone thought was buried alive.

True Blood creator Alan Ball, in an interview with EW, chatted the dymamics between Light and Dark that will be present this season.

“My first instinct about going into religion and politics was from watching Michele Bachmann, who thinks she has a direct line to God. What would happen if she became president? A lot of right-wingers would like to see a theocracy in America. From there we thought, ‘What would a vampire theocracy be and how would you justify it? What kind of impact would it have on humans?’”

True Blood premieres Sunday, June 10 at 9PM ET on HBO.

True Blood star Anna Paquin had more than one reason to celebrate in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

While the occasion at Lure nightclub was to officially mark the fifth season season of HBO’s top-rating program which premiered earlier in the evening, the eyes of the small crowd were on the 29-year-old Oscar winner — who is expecting her first child with husband and costar Stephen Moyer this fall.

Sported a stylish black Rachel Comey dress, the Canadian-born New Zealand actress’ baby bump was noticeably larger we’ve previously seen.

“She looks gorgeous, doesn’t she?” a proud Moyer, 42, gushed to Celebuzz.

What else went down at the soiree?

Paquin and her adoring husband were never out of each other’s sights: they stayed close to each other, shared food and kisses and mingled with friends.

Alexander Skarsgard, who plays vampire Eric Northman, held court with 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer and costar Kristin Bauer van Straten on his own table at the club.

Speaking to Celebuzz, Moyer also dished on how he had “the best time” filming the fifth season, especially because he shot some fun scenes with Skarsgard.

“It’s not just a [superficial] relationship, you get to see more with them this year,” he said, of their characters.

Meanwhile, Joe Manganiello was the crowd-pleaser at the event, posing for photographs with a few lucky fans who appeared quite excited to see him.

Stephen has two children from his previous marriage.

It looks like Anna really appreciated her husband’s kind gesture because the actress never left his side once the cameras stopped rolling!

While so many of us are bundling up for the upcoming winter, hotties Anna Paquin and Cam Gigandet took in a little sun while filming their new movie, Free Ride, Thursday afternoon in Miami, FL.

Anna donned a ’70s-esque orange tube top and jeans, while Cam showed off his muscles in a white tank top as they filmed some scenes on a boat.

In the film, Anna plays a single mom who flees to Miami with her two daughters to escape an abusive past. Cam plays her love interest. Jealousy among audience members ensues.

Anna Paquin made the most of her Friday morning with a early morning run in Los Angeles.

The True Blood star was in full-on workout mode as she jogged through LA, wearing a t-shirt, black shorts, sneakers and headphones.

As if her jogging wasn’t impressive enough, Anna also stopped nearby to do some pull-ups in between her run. Not bad.
