Jessica Simpson’s expecting the pitter patter of little (boy) feet and admits she’s crossing her fingers baby No. 2 will take after this fashionable mama.

“Maxwell is definitely a daddy’s girl… so I hope my son will be a mama’s boy,” she told People in the mag’s exclusive sneak peek inside the Fashion Star mentor’s Tom Sawyer-themed baby shower April 14 at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.

As style savvy as the mommy mogul shows the world each week on the hit NBC show, this time around she’s making a different fashion statement sans her signature stilettos.

“I’ve been less about the fashion and more about the comfort,” she told the mag. “With Maxwell, I tried to wear heels the whole time, but it hurt my knees. Now I’m wearing more flats!

“I’m a lot less anxious this pregnancy. I’m a lot more easygoing.”

She also learned a few foodie lessons from her first pregnancy, when she gained a headline-making 60 pounds.

“Now I’m working out three times a week. I’ve only gained half of what I did during my first pregnancy,” she told People.

But for one special day the 32-year-old indulged her cravings, munching on snacks of sliders and pigs in blankets, along with sweet treats like donuts and red velvet cake at the ladies-only event organized by celeb party planner Mindy Weiss.

The 48 guests included little sis Ashlee, mom Tina, BFF Cacee Cobb (who’s also expecting!), gal pal Jessica Alba — and a surprise visit by fiance Eric Johnson, 33, and 11-month-old daughter Maxwell, who’s excited about becoming a big sis.

“Maxwell knows what’s up,” Jessica said. “She gives my belly kisses.”

Jessica Simpson had some competition for the spotlight on Saturday, thanks to her adorable daughter Maxwell Drew.

The pregnant Fashion Star judge brought her little girl along to an appearance at Belk Southpark in Charlotte, N.C., where Simpson and sister Ashlee promoted their fashion collection and met with fans.

At one point, Maxwell, who turns one on May 1, joined the Simpson sisters at the meet-and-greet table — and hammed it up for the camera.

“Come to Belk in the Southpark Mall to see @ashleesimpson and me! Hellllllllo Charlotte, NC!” Simpson, 32, wrote on Twitter before the event.

The expectant star dressed up her baby bump in a maroon maxi dress and black blazer from her maternity line, while Ashlee donned a short print dress.

A few weeks ago, Simpson accidentally revealed the sex of her second child on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous!” she said on the show. “Well, I guess I just told the world that I’m having a boy . . . I can’t believe I did that! That was not planned.”

After showcasing spectacular weight loss in photos from the Jan/ Feb 2013 issue of Weight Watchers Magazine, it looks like Jessica Simpson is already putting back on a few pounds.

In a picture she tweeted Sunday afternoon, the singer and reality-television star showcased a baby bump, accompanied by the caption “Bumpin’ and Proud!”

The photo comes after her announcement on Christmas Day that she is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson.

Simpson spent the holidays vacationing in Hawaii with Johnson, their daughter Maxwell, her sister Ashlee, her nephew Bronx and mom Tina.

Ashlee Simpson is making some waves of her own.

After a week that saw her big sister Jessica grabbing headlines — she officially announced her pregnancy on Christmas Day after Celebuzz first confirmed the newson Dec. 19 — Ashlee got some well-deserved attention the good old-fashioned way: she donned an itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny bikini.

The 28-year-old wore the black-and-white swimsuit Saturday as she frolicked with her son Bronx, 4, in Oahu, Hawaii. Also on hand: Jessica’s BFF CaCee Cobb and her new husband, Scrubs star Donald Faison. The two wed earlier this month in L.A. in front of celebs like Zach Braff, Seth Green, Sarah Chalke — and, of course, the Simpsons (Jess served as maid of honor).

Mommy-to-be Jessica and her fiance Eric Johnson, who are also vacationing in Hawaii, were nowhere to be found during Ashlee’s beach romp. Also on the MIA list: any apparent love interest for the “Pieces of Me” singer, who split from Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza in November after a year and a half of dating.

Ashlee was previously married to Fallout Boy bassist Pete Wentz — Bronx’s dad — from 2008 to 2011.

Jessica Simpson has unwrapped a special gift just days before Christmas.

The mommy mogul admitted at her dad Joe Simpson’s holiday party that she’s pregnant with her second child, Celebuzz can exclusively reveal.

The Fashion Star judge, who attended the private function with her fiance Eric Johnson, has remained tight-lipped about reports that she’s expecting again, but she couldn’t contain her joy any longer at the annual festive bash Dec. 11.

What did the new mom say?

“As Jessica and her husband were about to leave the party somebody asked her, ‘How’s the baby?’ and she boasted, ‘Which one?! I’m pregnant again!’” One party-goer told Celebuzz but asked not to be identified because she is known to the family. “She was so happy, smiling and giggling.”

According to the eyewitness, the evening affair – which was also attended by Jessica’s younger sister Ashlee Simpson, 28, and her ex-beau, Ryan Cabrera, 30 — took place at Papa Joe’s beachfront house in Santa Monica, where he uses the seasonal soiree to highlight the up-and-coming artists under his management.

“It was a private affair for around 50 people made up of friends, family and producers,” said the party-goer. “Joe uses it as an opportunity to showcase all his talented artists by playing all their music, and they can mingle and have some fun.

“Joe’s really cool. And he’s really proud of all of his artists.”

The onlooker revealed that the 32-year-old mother seemed delighted with her second pregnancy, which comes just seven months after she gave birth to her first child, daughter Maxwell.

But while various people offered their congratulations, the proud parents couldn’t hang around. The reason: They had to dash off to a party being hosted by Jessica’s mom, Tina, who filed for divorce from Joe in October after 35 years of marriage.

“I’m running late, I’ve got to go to my mom’s,” a beaming Jessica revealed to the guests before leaving with her 33-year-old husband-to-be.

And the blonde bombshell was able to cover any signs of a growing baby bump under her big jacket.

“She looked beautiful,” said the party-goer.

The “With You” songstress, who admitted to struggling to lose the weight post-baby, has been at the center of speculation for weeks ever since US Weekly published a cover story alleging she had gotten pregnant again.

Jessica, who didn’t confirm her first pregnancy for months, has yet to comment on the report.

The new mother to baby Maxwell has been logging hours in the gym with her personal trainer Harley Pasternak and making great strides in her personal weight loss journey.

The mommy mogul most recently showed off her over 60-pound weight loss at a Tampa Dillard’s appearance for her Jessica Simpson Collection alongside her younger sister Ashlee.

Simpson has been forthcoming about her weight loss struggles over the last six months, with the 32-year-old — who finished filming her second Weight Watchers commercial last week — telling USA Today “my body is not bouncing back like a supermodel.”

After the May 1 birth of her first daughter — with fiancee Eric Johnson — the blonde bombshell made limited public appearances and was frequently spotted at her trainer’s gym in baggy sweatshirts and workout clothes. It seemed the singer-turned-fashion-designer was determined to get back into her favorite skinny jeans by the year’s end.

Slowly but surely, Simpson has celebrated her weight loss achievements and has been spotted wearing more figure-fitting ensembles like the black peplum dress she wore on Katie Couric‘s talk show and her Halloween costume that flaunted her taut tummy.

Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest face of Max Factor, and she looks drop dead gorgeous in the beauty campaign. Comprised of seven different looks, each reflecting a side of Paltrow’s multi-facteted life, the ads feature the actress in an effortlessly beautiful way.

Pat McGrath, Max Factor’s Global Creative Design Director, said in a statement, “I tasked eleven of our national make-up artists to create three glamour statements for Gwyneth. These were to be inspired by her life and the different roles she has to play – model, actress, mother, singer.”

It’s official. After months of speculation, Jessica Simpson’s mother Tina has filed for divorce from her husband Joe, Celebuzz has confirmed.

The Simpson family matriarch filed for divorce on Sept. 24 in McLennan County, Tx.

The two have been married for over 34 years and just listed their $4.3 million Encino mansion on the market on Oct. 4.

TMZ is reporting that, in the divorce papers, Tina claimed, “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

Joe filed a response to her original filing on Oct. 1 insisting that she get nothing from the split, as they both have separate properties.

There have been reports that Tina, 52, has been living in a rental Malibu home since the beginning of the year, while Joe, 54, has been residing mainly at the family house in Encino and another home in Santa Barbara, Calif.

It’s been a rocky year for the Simpson parents. Joe was charged with a DUIon Aug. 4 after being stopped at a sobriety checkpoint near a bar in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. Jessica and Ashlee’s father, who is also their manager, had a .12 blood alcohol level — well over the legal limit of .08.

Meanwhile, Jessica is juggling her time between being a new mom and logging in major hours in the gym. The mother of baby Maxwell tweeted no Oct. 20 after a long day on season two of Fashion Star’s set, “Long day at work. Too lazy to wash my face off before bed! Nighty Night.”

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson’s parents, Joe and Tina, have been dodging rumors that they’re ending their 34-year marriage — and now Celebuzz has learned that they are selling their family compound for $4.3 million.

There have been reports that Tina, 52, has been living in a rental Malibu home since the beginning of the year, while Joe, 54, has been residing mainly at the family house in Encino and another home in Santa Barbara.

The palatial estate sits on 1.5 acres in the heart of Encino’s Royal Oaks and situated in The Colony, a guard gated community. The six bedroom home includes a master suite with a fireplace, duel walk-in closets and a stunning bathroom suite.

The upstairs offers a total of three bedroom suites while the rest of the premises promise a fire pit, wet bar, lagoon style pool, spa, putting range, and its own professional home theater.

The home may be a bad luck charm when it comes to marital issues. The estate was the venue for Ashlee’s, 28, wedding to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, 33, in 2008, which ended in divorce in 2011.

The style set may have been celebrating the start of Fashion Week in New York City last night, but three of the night’s biggest style winners were walking the red carpet at the premiere of the third season of HBO drama Boardwalk Empire. Ashlee Simpson, 27, was on-hand to support boyfriend Vincent Piazza, but all eyes were on young mom, who dazzled in white,  while Gretchen Mol, 39, and a pregnant Kelly MacDonald, 36, also wowed in fashion-forward looks.

From dramatic gowns to trendy mini dresses, the ladies shined in looks that showcased their own personal style. Still, the hit show, known for it’s detailed period costumes, also appeared to have inspired some of the evening’s ensembles .

So who was the night’s style winner?

Even though Simpson doesn’t star in the prohibition-themed drama, she stole the show, posing with Piazza in a white laced mini dress and metallic pumps. Ashlee paired the look with a dramatic lip and bold bronze eye that offset her feminine dress.

The show’s leading ladies were hot on Simpson’s stylish heels, showcasing the season’s hottest trends in figure-flattering silhouettes. Mol’s floor-length printed gown was both demure and sophisticated on her lanky frame, but what we love most is the pop of color from her mustard clutch. Meanwhile, MacDonald showed off her burgeoning belly in a LBD with a sheer lace neckline and sleeves and sexy strappy sandals.

PEOPLE debuted on Wednesday an exclusive photo set from Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman’s big wedding, which took place last Saturday at Barrymore’s home in Montecito, Calif.

Over the last decade, wedding photos have become a huge get for magazines — though, as the story goes, publications often have to shell out big bucks to acquire them.

The exact price tag of Drew and Will’s photos has not yet been disclosed. Celebuzz has reached out to the actress’ rep and is awaiting comment.

Jessica Simpson and her sister, Ashlee, took part in their own version of Bridesmaids, at the Parker Palm Springs on Sunday, where they took part in their friend Lauren Zelman’s wedding to actor Bret Harrison.

Of course, given that she is nine months pregnant, Jessica could only do so much as a bridesmaid; according to reports, the singer-actress had to stay seated during the ceremony.

Also in attendance were Adam Brody and Josh Schwartz of The OC, as well as Ashlee’s adorable son, Bronx, who was the ring bearer.

Love was in the air as Ashlee Simpson and Vincent Piazza stepped out Tuesday night for a late-night Valentine’s Day date. The couple were lovey-dovey, kissing and holding hands as they arrived at the Dream Hotel on Tuesday evening. Ashlee and her Boardwalk Empire beau headed into the “Fashion: Take Note Studio” / Samsung Galaxy Note launch event, where they caught a performance from Band of Horses — and could barely keep their hands off one another.

“Ashlee was sitting on his lap the whole night, giggling at everything Vincent was whispering into her ear,” an onlooker tells Celebuzz. “At one point, they were full on making out and didn’t seem to mind that everyone was watching.”

Ashlee and Vincent haven’t been shy about their relationship and made their first official red carpet outing at Boardwalk Empire premiere in NYC back in September. Rumors began to swirl that the two had gotten together after they were spotted in NYC canoodling back in June.

Ashlee filed for divorce from Pete Wentz last February. The musicians dissolved their marriage on Nov. 22, according to court documents.

They have maintained a friendly post-divorce friendship and have been spotted spending time together with their son, Bronx.

Rumors began to swirl that the two had gotten together after they were spotted in NYC canoodling back in June.

Jenny Packham seems to be the breakout designer of awards season, with two young starlets wearing nearly identical gowns from her line at two separate award shows. 

Vanessa Hudgens was the first to show up in the spiderweb-esque style at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards earlier this month, her dress revealing a little cleavage with a deep plunging neckline accentuated with a mesh overlay. Then, just last night we saw Ashlee Simpson wearing a seriously similar style at the 2012 SAG Awards, only her Jenny Packham presented her cleavage with a heart shaped top and mesh overlay.

The couple confirmed they have been together for eight months and Ashlee seemed absolutely glowing with her platinum blonde bob on Vincent’s arm.

“Ashlee really looked very old Hollywood glamour, fresh face, new look and new life,” said E! Fashion Correspondent Kelly Osbourne.

The mommy-to-be was wearing a floral mini-dress, and a black blazer paired with a very steep heeled pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. Her hair and make-up were also perfectly done. Even though the singer is said to be due sometime in the spring she looks about ready to pop! The triple threat celebrity commented on her bumpin’ style at the TCA panel for Fashion Star this past week, saying (via Access Hollywood), “I definitely look at comfort, I buy bigger sizes. I haven’t really gone to maternity clothes because I don’t really love maternity stuff.”
