Becki and her husband of five years, Chris Diamantopoulos, announced earlier today that they are expecting their first child. The only problem? This is going to force the premiere of Becki’s newest series, Love Bites, back to the mid-fall. Oops, but we’re sure that Becki is happy to have a baby on the way.

The 31-year-old actress reportedly met Chris in a New York subway station. Chris himself is an actor and has a recurring role in The Starter Wife with Debra Messing.

While filming a scene for her show Ugly Betty with co-stars Becki Newton and Michael Urie, Betty star America Ferrera took a spill. And it wasn’t part of the script.

Photographers caught Newton and Urie laughingly coming to her rescue, as did a crew member on the Ugly Betty set.

It’s entirely possible that Ferrera fell over when she saw that jacket Newton, who plays the conniving Amanda on the show, is wearing.

Newton’s wearing a multi-colored, bizarrely textured creation that makes her look like a flamenco dancer who got caught in a jet engine.

That might make anyone lose their balance upon seeing it.

Gwyneth Paltrow, rocking her trademark frothy mini and gladiator footwear, helped lend an A-List air to the reopening of Miami’s legendary Fountainbleau Hotel & Resort.

While Rat Packers like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. once stomped the ground in the beach haven, last night saw an unlikey duo in Mrs. Chris Martin and Alex Rodriguez, the man who for months has been linked to her workout/playdate pal Madonna.

While sources indicate to Celebuzz that this was the first meeting between the two, they for sure look chummy in the remodeled hotel (a $1 billion rennovation).

Joining them for the bash were luminaries like Kate Hudson, Terrence Howard, Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, Gabrielle Union, Chloe Sevigny and Heidi Klum.
