That’s right, Brooklyn’s finest once lived in New Jersey.

We all know Jay-Z earned his fame as a rapper in the mid-90s and since then has amassed an enormous empire including a record label, restaurants, clothing line, stake in the Brooklyn nets, even a sports agency and countless No. 1 hits of his own.

The 43-year-old entertainer splashed out some serious cash on the 4-bedroom, 4-bath condo with a lavish master bedroom suite that exudes sunlight through the floor-to-ceiling windows and comes with custom built his/hers walk-in closets.

The nearly 5,000 square-foot stunning duplex includes panoramic views of NYC and the Hudson River from every room, three granite trimmed gas fireplaces, sitting room and exercise room.

And the hip-hop king didn’t stop the extravagance there. It’s all in the decadent details.

The Porcelanosa designed spa-like master bath boasts a soaking tub, oversized shower with frameless enclosure, European designed wall tiles and heated slate flooring, and custom designed double sink vanity. Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly have a fortune of over $1 billion and now they hope to to fully market Blue Ivy Carter’s famous moniker.

The couple has applied to register the name of their gorgeous girl with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

There application is still pending, and over the next three years the proud parents must prove that they are using the trademark for different purposes like baby products and for music.

Ironically, Queen Bey and Jay -Z previously failed in their battle to trademark the name as ‘Blue Ivy.’

They originally filed paperwork shortly after her birth in January, 2012, but they hit a legal snafu as Boston wedding planner Veronica Alexander had called her company Blue Ivy back in 2009.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ruled that Alexander could keep the name and that the couple did not have exclusive rights to it.

But now it looks like they’ve tried again, this time using the full name of Blue Ivy Carter. Neither Jay-Z nor Beyonce have ever revealed their reasons for choosing the unusual name for their first child.

But here are some possible clues:

The color blue is said to be Jay-Z’s favorite having released three albums called “Blueprint.”

Her middle name ‘Ivy,’ reportedly references the Roman numeral (‘IV’) for 4 — a significant digit for both Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Beyoncé ‘s birthday is September 4, Jay-Z’s is December 4, they were married on April 4, 2008, and the singer’s latest album is entitled 4.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are ringing in their fifth wedding anniversary on April 4 and in honor of the their special day, Celebuzz has compiled some of their cutest coupley moments caught on camera.

The “Crazy in Love” singer revealed to British Vogue that wedded bliss has lived up to its expectations.

“I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am,” she said. “I’m happily married. I love my husband.”

And the feeling is mutual.

The 43-year-old rapper has nothing but love for his leading lady.

Despite the music industry’s hottest couple being notoriously private about their personal life, the two have become more open over the last few years.

In fact, Jay couldn’t hold back after seeing his wife perform on May 26 in Atlantic City and blasted this to fans on Twitter:

My, how baby Blue has grown!

After shedding some spotlight on her mini-me in her HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream, Beyoncé has given the world another glimpse at her 14-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

The mother-daughter duo was spotted strolling Court Street in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sunday. Bundled in a black coat and sporting dark shades, Queen B smiled ear-to-ear as she cradled a sleepy baby Blue, who wore a camo-green jacket, dark denims and classic biege Timberland boots.

The pair even ducked inside eatery Buttermilk Channel, an American bistro known for it’s comfort-food classics, where they dined à deux. Though the borough is home to her hubby’s team, the Brooklyn Nets, Jay-Z was not spotted with his women.

Since giving birth back in January 2012, Beyoncé has mostly kept her daughter under wraps when stepping out in front of flashing paparazzi. But as of late, the notoriously-private Grammy-winning singer has opened up about motherhood.

“She introduced me to myself,” Bey told Oprah Winfrey 0f her first child during their February sit-down. “And she’s still a baby, but the connection I had with her when I was giving birth was something I have never felt before … We had a connection, and I envisioned her.”

And after her first foray as a mother, Beyonce is sure she wants to expand her brood. “When I was younger, there were moments where I said, ‘I’m not going to have children.’ And then moments when I wanted four,” she said in the March 2013 issue of Vogue. “Now I definitely want another, but I don’t know when.”

Let the name game begin!

The moment Kanye West announced that his lady love Kim Kardashian was expecting their first child, fans around the world started to wonder what the happy couple will call their bundle of joy.

So Celebuzz spoke exclusively to Jennifer Moss, author of The One-In-A-Million Baby Name Book, to weigh in on what’s really in a name for the newest addition to the Kardashian clan — and answer the big question: Will “K” play a key part in the moniker?

“Kim and Kanye could very well pick a ‘K’ name,” said Moss, noting that Kim’s mother Kris Jenner famously named her daughters Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall. “It’s a family tradition and baby-naming trend. Conveniently, Kanye is a part of the ‘K’ family as well.”

But regardless of the Kardashians’ immense popularity, the letter they helped make famous isn’t on top of the baby list.

“At the moment, the ‘K’ names aren’t so popular,” Moss said. “But those that are on the rise are Kayden for boys and Kayla and Keira for girls, like Keira Knightley.”

Although Kourtney, 33, decided to veer outside the family tradition — and the family tree — by naming her babies Mason and Penelope, her little sis and her baby-daddy could keep it all in the family.

“Kim and Kanye could include their parents when choosing their baby names, as many couples do to pay their respect,” Moss noted.

When choosing their baby’s name, Kimye should follow these ground rules from Moss, founder and CEO of babynames.com:

1. Make sure you see the name from the child’s point of view.
2. Don’t pick a name that will turn into a joke. If you’re not 100% sure that the name isn’t a laughfest, test it out by using it at a coffee shop — and gauging the barista’s reaction.
3. Don’t make the name something hard to pronounce.
4. If you’re looking for something unique, don’t use a name that’s popular. There could be 10 Owens in one kindergarten class.
5. Don’t forget about what the initials will spell — you don’t want to spell out something embarrassing.

Kim and Kanye, meanwhile, shouldn’t follow the advice of another famous duo: West’s BFF  Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce. The name of their nearly one-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, hasn’t fared well with fans — and was actually voted the No. 1 worst celebrity baby name.

“Many fans wrote that Ivy Blue would have been a better choice, because blue actually means depressed,” said Moss, who then gave some more advice in how to play the name game. “The general public does not respond well to noun names like Lion or Apple, or worse, an adjective and a noun.”

Move over Suri Cruise, Blue Ivy Carter’s got quite the shoe collection already. The eight-month-old daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z already owns Marc Jacob and Jeremy Scott x Adidas kicks, and she is growing a shoe collection that most adults would be jealous of.

Baby blue’s latest addition are her $798 pink leather bedazzled Ruthie Davis Jamie sneakers.

What did the designer reveal about the shoes?

Shoe designer, Ruthie Davis, took to her Facebook Sept. 24 and posted a snapshot of the adorable booties exclaiming, “Take a look at the Baby Ruthie’s I made especially for Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy…so sweet, right?”

It looks like the mini fashionista has officially garnered herself a pair of custom-made kicks. The one-of-a-kind shoes are bound to land baby B on Hollywood’s best dressed list.

True to form, Beyonce celebrated her 31st birthday in class — on a yacht off the coast of the South of France with baby Blue Ivy and husband Jay-Z.

Looking yacht chic in an all-blue getup, the songstress paid homage to her music mogul hubby with a “J” letter-man sweater. The power couple took a break from their busy schedules, relaxing with fine food and wine, lounging on the yacht’s decks and taking in the awe-inspiring landscape through binoculars.

How did Jay-Z help his wife relax on her special day?

The rapper, 42, took over daddy duty, doting on daughter Blue Ivy as Beyonce soaked up some quality alone time. Blue Ivy — who’s already clocked in some time on a yacht — seemed at ease in her daddy’s arms.

The nine-month-old is quickly becoming a pro at luxury travel. Just last week, she was spotted getting out of a helicopter in New York with her famous dad.

And over Labor Day weekend, Jay and Bey hit up Philadelphia, Penn., where the Roc-A-Fella founder put on his first-ever Made in America Music Festival. Beyonce watched on while her husband headlined the tour for a crowd of nearly 50,000 concertgoers, dancing during his performances of “99 Problems” and “Dirt of Your Shoulder.”

Some of the couple’s famous friends made special appearances at the festival, including Rita Ora, Kanye West, Pusha T and Big Sean.

President Barack Obama even made a cameo via a prerecorded broadcast, reminding the crowd to vote in this year’s upcoming election and telling the audience that Jay’s journey to superstardom is “what Made In America means.”

Beyonce Knowles doesn’t do anything halfway, and motherhood is no different. Blue Ivy Carter is getting all the spoils of being the Queen B and Jay-Z‘s baby as the mother-daughter duo were seen heading to an office building in New York City’s Midtown on Tuesday with Ivy bundled up in a fur baby sling. 

The sling matched Beyonce’s monochromatic look of gray skinny jeans and sweater. To make the outfit pop, the new mom popped on a pair of sky-high yellow pumps and big round sunglasses. Beyonce looked more like her alter ego Sasha Fierce in this city style!

Lucky for East Coasters, it won’t be very long before she’ll be hitting the stage again. 

It was announced that Beyonce will be performing in Atlantic City over Memorial Day weekend. This will be the diva’s first stage show since becoming a new mom.
