With the worlds of film, television and music, stars earn far more that mere power, prestige and status. Celebrities continue to prove that show business shells out in a big way. But just how hefty a paycheck are the industry A-listers pocketing?

So who ranks among the richest in all the land of Tinseltown? According to latest Forbes‘ highest-paid lists, it’s not just actors and actress, but musicians, movie-makers, models, media moguls, talk-show hosts, and teen pop stars.

What do the celebrities do with such a sizable piece of the piece?

While some spend money like it’s going out of style — think Bentleys, bling-out Barbie dolls and Barclays Center private nurseries — others favor frugality. And, overall, many of the stars prove big-hearted, putting their hard-earned payday toward charities.

The 16-year-old My World sensation has been scheduled to perform at this year’s AMAs, along with Ke$ha, Kid Rock, P!nk, Ne-Yo, recent collaborators Rihanna and Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Usher.

Hopefully Biebs’ performance will be more wholesome than other recent AMAs performances.

The combined talents of Rihanna and Bon Jovi on one tiny stage? And somehow the place didn’t spontaneously combust from all of that concentrated awesome? Thank heaven for small miracles!

Ri-Ri provided an extra thrill to Bon Jovi fans during the group’s pre-European Music Awards gig at Madrid’s 1,000-capacity Teatro Circo Price on Saturday night, joining band leader Jon Bon Jovi and his group on stage to perform their 1986 hair-metal classic “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

Afterward, a clearly awestruck Rihanna tweeted,

“Wait … Did I just rock out with Bon Jovi tonight??? WTFFFF!!!!!!!”

Yes, Rihanna, yes you did. And we have  the video evidence to prove it.

If Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora are anything to go by, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for recently-split celebrity couples like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall, Katy Perry and Travis McCoy and Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane.

Melrose Place babe Locklear, 47, and her rocker ex-husband Sambora, 49, were all smiles at their 11-year-old daughter Ava Elizabeth Sambora‘s View Point School soccer game in Calabasas, California.

Heather and Richie were married for just over 11 years. They split in February 2006.

However, the former couple have remained friends in the aftermath of their divorce. Locklear and her current beau, fellow Melrose Place alum Jack Wagner, 49, spent Thanksgiving with Richie and Ava.

“Heather and Richie are very supportive of each other,” a Locklear pal told People in November. “They talk all the time, and any time Ava has something important happening they are there together.”

That’s a great goal for both of them to keep in mind—well, that one, and the goal on their daughter’s soccer field!

Britney Spears‘ father Jamie is getting a raise. The courts have ruled that the elder Spears, who was receiving $10,000 a month from Britney’s money for his conservatorship role, will now be receiving $16,125 for his services. He will also be allowed to have an office, for which rent will cost $1,200 a month, according to TMZ. In addition, Britney’s brother Bryan will receive $200,000 for services rendered before the conservatorship kicked in.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, the subject of recent marital strife rumors due to being photographed without their wedding rings, have reportedly been having issues in their relationship for quite some time now. Page Six reports that Lopez allegedly sent an assistant on Anthony’s last tour while she was home with their twins. “She wanted reports back so he didn’t cheat on her,” a source said. The couple are also selling the $8.5 million Bel Air estate they were married at in 2004. Reps for Lopez had no comment.

Jeremy Piven‘s abrupt departure from Broadway’s Speed-the-Plow due to an alleged case of mercury poisoning has caused the loss of thousands of dollars in ticket sales. TMZ reports that the play grossed only $326K last week, which was down $160,000 from the week before, and the house at the Ethel Barrymore Theater was only half full. William H. Macy will replace Piven on Jan. 11.

Former Sopranos actor Lillo Brancato Jr. was acquitted of second degree murder in the shooting death of an off-duty police officer on Monday. Brancato was convicted of attempted robbery and was sentenced to three years in prison, some of which will be considered time served. Brancato, 32, and an accomplice broke into a basement apartment in NYC to steal prescription drugs in December 2005. Officer Daniel Enchautegui lived next door and came to investigate when Brancato Jr’s accomplice shot him to death during a gun battle, reports the New York Post. Brancato rose to fame in Robert DeNiro’s A Bronx Tale, and played a wannabe mobster who was killed on The Sopranos.

Bon Jovi‘s tour was the highest grossing in the period between Nov. 14, 2007 and Nov. 11 of this year. It grossed $210.6 million and sold nearly 2.2 million tickets, according to MSNBC. Bruce Springsteen came in second ($204.5 million gross) and then Madonna with $162 million in ticket sales.
