Hollywood glammed it up on Saturday as the 24th GLAAD Media Awards were handed out in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lawrence took the opportunity to debut a much shorter hairdo on the red carpet, turning heads in a cute LBD by David Koma. Charlize Theron also turned to black, donning a Jason Wu jumpsuit for the affair.

As for the men, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Bomer and Justin Bartha were as dapper as can be while Brad Goreski took the plunge and sported a bright yellow suit.

“Thank you @glaad for an incredibly inspiring evening! I was so honored to be there and moved by the countless lives you touch. Fantastic!” Goreski wrote on Twitter following the event.

Big winners of the night included TV shows The New Normal and American Horror Story: Asylum, the big screen adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower and former President Bill Clinton, who received the Advocate for Change award.

Clinton credited his daughter Chelsea for his standpoint on gay marriage.

“She has a profound impact on the way I see the world . . . it’s sort of humbling when you get to be my age when your child knows more than you do about everything,” he said in his acceptance speech. [via The Hollywood Reporter]

It may have be seven years since they split, but celebrity stylist and Bravo star Rachel Zoe is still spitting mad with designer and Fashion Star judge Nicole Richie.

So much so that interns working with the top-selling author and reality star are banned from saying Richie’s name while their big boss is around, according to an insider who spoke to Celebuzz.

“Nobody is allowed to mention Nicole Richie’s name – that is a huge no-no for Rachel. She is obviously still upset with her,” the source said.

When the two women parted company in 2006, Richie, 31, infamously dubbed Zoe, 40, a “raisin face” on a blind item posted on her then MySpace blog titled X-Ray.

It read:

“What 35-year-old raisin face whispers her order of 3 pieces of asparagus for dinner at Chateau every night, and hides her deathly disorder by pointing the finger at me, and used her last paycheck I wrote her to pay for a publicist instead of a nutritionist? HINT: Her name is lettucecup …”

But Richie’s name isn’t the only one banned in the presence of Miss Zoe, because that honor extends to her arch nemesis Brad Goreski, too.

Zoe’s former assistant – who now stars in his own reality show on Bravo, It’s A Brad Brad World – also supposedly still makes her blood boil.

“Nobody is allowed to say Brad’s name either. His name came up in a conversation once and when Rachel overheard that, she totally winced and walked off,” the insider added.

Mom-of-two, Richie – who ironically has gone on to create her own successful fashion and jewelry line The House Of Harlow – appears as a judge on the new series of NBC’s Fashion Star alongside John Varvatos, Jessica Simpson and Louise Roe, which premiered on Friday.

Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski and his longtime partner Gary Janetti are moving on up, recently purchasing a 4,542 square foot home together for a cool $2.3335 million.

Located in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, the lavish pad boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, plus plenty of luxury features fit for this stylish couple.

According to the listing, the two-story was originally erected in 1933 but was renovated with modern upgrades, including a glass loggia on the second floor overlooking the Los Angeles Country Club.

High gloss ebony wood floors and crisp white walls are spread throughout the home, while the kitchen itself is decked out in white cabinetry and sleek stainless steel appliances with a center island cook top.

Stacy Keibler stunned us again with another amazing look at the Carousel of Hope Ball over the weekend.

The blonde beauty dazzled next to beau George Clooney in a black and red beaded Monique Lhuillier gown.

Hot off the fall 2012 runways, Keibler’s elegant dress fit her lanky figure perfectly and the tall beauty carried the dress’ long hemline and small train perfectly.

An elegant chignon showed off the delicate sheer paneling on the back of the dress and helped offset the drama of her dark beaded gown.

The up-and-coming style star practiced the same restraint with her accessories, opting for a sleek black Judith Leiber clutch and simple black onyx and diamond drops that complemented, but didn’t compete with, the sparkling gown.

This isn’t the first time Keibler has wowed us on the red carpet.

The former WWE wrestler’s sexy style has taken a more refined, elegant turn since she’s become Clooney’s other half — and we’re huge fans of her stepped-up style.

Saturday Night Live is set to premiere its 38th season with some major funny in the form of Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane. This will be his first time hosting the late night sketch show. Tapped to perform for the premiere on Sept. 15 is rapper Frank Ocean. Also set to host the show this season are Joseph Gordon-Levitt (with musical guest Mumford and Sons) and James Bond himself, Daniel Craig (with musical guest Muse) on Sept. 22 and Oct. 6 respectively. Who will be in the cast of CBS’ The Amazing Race?

An eclectic group of individuals have been chosen for the next season of CBS’ The Amazing Race including a former Megadeth band member, the Fabulous Beekman Boys, and a Chippendale’s dancer. The cast also includes a double amputee snowboarder. In addition, the stakes for the challenging reality show have gone up with a grand prize of $2 million dollars if the team that wins the first leg of the race also wins the second. [CBS]

Excuse us while we do a happy dance as it’s been confirmed that Joss Whedon is heading back to TV as ABC has ordered it’s first Marvel live-action pilot, S.H.I.E.L.D. The show will focus on the agency run by Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson in the film) seen in Whedon’s blockbuster film, The Avengers. His brother Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen will collaborate with Joss on the project as showrunners. [Deadline]

Stylist-to-the-stars Brad Goreski, 34, has a brand-new gig: he’s serving as leader of eBay’s Chic Squad.

Goreski, star of Bravo’s It’s A Brad Brad World, appeared at the Selling Style Studio pop-up shop in the trendy Meatpacking district of NYC on Friday, June 8. Ultra-chic in a blue shirt, bow-tie and orange pants, the fun-loving stylist offered advice to eBay enthusiasts on what to sell and how to sell it – in just four easy steps.

He also took time to speak with Celebuzz and reveal some of his best personal finds on eBay, dish on his new celeb clients and explain how the Chic Squad can help you line your pockets with cash.

Tell us about what you are doing with eBay and how this will help fashionable seller?

I am the head of eBay’s Chic Squad. We are going around the eBay style-selling studio to Dallas and San Francisco, ending in Los Angeles. There is a new eBay mobile app with four simple steps: Script, shoot, price then list. You describe your item to the best of your ability and the way to get buyers really interested then you want to snap a gorgeous photo of your item, price it reasonably and list it and then go and buy yourself something new!

What are your best purchases off of eBay?

I have a desk in my office which is a Danish Century which I love that I bought on eBay and I just recently got a Barbara Streisand concert t-shirt. I like to look for weird vintage t-shirts on eBay and vintage jewelry.

What is the next career step for you?

I am working with my clients, a little bit more with my book ‘Born to be Brad’ and I have a lot of travel on the agenda.

Who would be your dream pop star and movie star that you would love to dress?

Britney Spears, for sure and dream movie star is Cate Blancett, I think she is so elegant and talented and she pushes the boundaries of fashion but she is always wearing the dress, the dress is never wearing her.

What about your clients in Hollywood, anyone new on the horizon?

I have been working with Minka Kelly, Christina Ricci and Beth Behrs from 2 Broke Girls.

Friends turned frenemies?

Celeb stylist Rachel Zoe didn’t hold much back to Los Angeles Confidential magazine when asked what she really thought of her former assistant Brad Goreski‘s new Bravo show. Her remarks were not so supportive … to put it mildly. 

“All I know is I have the best team in the world,” Rachel told the publication. “And that’s the first time I’ve ever felt that way.”

When asked if Rachel was tuning in to Brad’s reality show, she answered, “No, no. I don’t think I can watch that.”

Looks like these two have grown way apart.

The 41-year old designer is onto designing her latest clothing collection, and may have taken a jab at a fellow fashion guru when talking about her method. She told the mag, “The last thing I’m going to do when I come out with a collection is try to be Marc (Jacobs) I’m not trying to make a huge statement, I’m just trying to make beautiful, wearable, tailored clothes.”

She’s not so harsh to all the men in her life!  Rachel gave an update on her and husband Rodger Berman‘s son Skyler, saying in her usual lingo, “He’s everything, he just started saying ‘Mama,’ and I died.”

When it comes to styling for the red carpet, Brad Goreski is a certified pro.

So when Celebuzz bumped into him at this year’s Art of Elysum Heaven Gala, we just had ask about those scary fashion emergencies that sometimes occur at Hollywood events. What happens if there’s a rip at the seam, or a stain on the dress? 

“Cover it with your hand!”

But in all seriousness, little fashion accidents are nothing in Brad’s world.  

“Something like that, usually we can remedy that very quickly,” he told us.

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland was the latest celeb to suffer a wardrobe malfunction during the 2012 Golden Globes. The young starlet’s dress bursted open in the back just moments before she stepped onto the red carpet. She tweeted to fans:

“Only me. I’ll tell ya. Zipper blew on the carpet. I guess I ate too much,” she wrote, adding that she was “being sewn into it.”

It looks like Brad’s right — fashion emergencies can be fixed quickly!

Michelle Skowronek: It’s any girl’s dream to stand on the red carpet with a music icon like Cher and the pop diva we all grew up with, Christina Aguilera! Decked in my own red carpet attire (a black mini dress and heels) fully equipped with my Windows Phone, I was ready to snap at any celebrity who walked by at the Burlesque premiere. And I did!

Reporters lined the carpet with their microscopic lens that could magnify every pore on a celebrities face. Screaming fans stretched across Hollywood Blvd. added to the picturesque atmosphere of glitz, glamour and mayhem.

And while everyone was screaming at Christina and Kathy Griffin, I was waiting for my moment of glory, dying to get a photo of one of the A-listers. Sadly, Christina didn’t stop for a picture. But I did get photos with some of the dancers in the movie! 

All the ladies from the film looked hot in feathers, glitter and heels to the max. I even spoke with Brad Goreski from The Rachel Zoe Project about how he would have dressed the Burlesque girls.

More glitter, more feathers, more everything, more hair, more lashes. More! More! More!” he said.

All I knew was that I wanted more of Brad — hence his lovely photo taken with my handy-dandy phone. I’m so lucky the pictures came out great! Now, I can share them with all my friends on Facebook and Twitter. Kudos, Windows, for a fabulous night of star gazing on the red carpet!

After nearly two years as head styling assistant for Rachel Zoe, Brad Goreski has decided to leave the Zoe camp in order to pursue other career path, People reports.

Goreski joined the stylist-to-the-stars and her team in 2008 as then-lead styling assistant Taylor Jacobson‘s apprentice. Upon Jacobson’s acrimonious departure from both Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project and the company itself, Goreski was quickly promoted and could be seen hitting the runways with Zoe. The break-up was entirely civil, they claim, and Zoe makes it clear the pair will remain friends. She says:

“We have a relationship that’s not normal. I jump into bed with him and wake him up and we have these powwows and he’s like, ‘Wow, I haven’t brushed my teeth,’…I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No one’s ever going to be Brad to me.”

Brad says of his now former boss:

“I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know…But there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.”
