France may just be the luckiest country alive this week, as its citizens got not one, but two, doses of superstar Brad Pitt.

The Oscar-nominated actor was on hand to premiere his new film, Killing Them Softly, Tuesday afternoon at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, where he donned two different looks: one casual and one formal.

Who else showed up for the premiere?

Also on hand for the premiere: festival judge Diane Kruger, who once again knocked it out of the park in a stunning gown; and actor Alec Baldwin, who looked happier than ever as he made his way down the carpet, alongside his fiance, Hilaria Thomas.

Angelina Jolie was no where to be found as Brad Pitt posed solo Tuesday for the Cannes Film Festival photocall for his movie Killing Them Softly. However, there’s still time for the power couple to make a red carpet debut for the film’s premiere. If they do step out together, this will be the first public appearance for the couple since they announced their engagement this past month. As for a wedding date? Don’t hold your breath! He told reporters:

“We have no date at all right now – there is no date. We’re still hoping for marriage equality in the States before we [get married.]“

Being engaged seems to be fit the father of six, 48, as he looked relaxed and as handsome as ever, posing in a white T-shirt and a khaki colored blazer and slacks. We think he’s channeling his Legends of the Fall look.

So, what’s the Oscar nominee’s new movie about?

Brad plays Jackie Cogan who is a professional enforcer that investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game. He stars alongside Sopranos star James Gandolfini and Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta. Gangsters, indeed!

Angelina Jolie Buys Brad Pitt $1.6 Million Helicopter & Flying Lessons (PHOTOS)

Angelina Jolie doesn’t mess around when it comes to her man. The actress, 36, forked over almost $1.6 million on a helicopter and flying lessons for fiance Brad Pitt, The Sun reports.

“They’ve had a helicopter pad installed in the grounds of their south of France home, Chateau Miraval, so Ange thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present,” a source told the British newspaper. “But even though Brad has his private pilot’s license, he still needs to take a few flying lessons, which he’ll start straight away.”

This isn’t the first time the couple has indulged in expensive gifts for one another.

Brad Pitt has signed on to be the face of Chanel’s signature No. 5 scent, it’s been revealed.

Though a spokesperson for Pitt and Chanel haven’t commented on the news just yet, E! reports the Moneyball star will shoot an advertisement for the fragrance in London this week.

‘Facts of Life’ Star Mindy Cohn Dishes On Being ‘Godmother’ to Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie’s Kids (EXCLUSIVE)

Is it fact, or a Hollywood urban legend?

For the last couple of years, there’s been persistent scuttlebutt that Brad Pitt, 48, and Angelina Jolie, 36, are pals with an unlikely Tinsel town celebrity – The Facts of Life star Mindy Cohn. Indeed, according to some reports, the secret friendship is so strong that the 44-year-old ’80s sitcom star is godmother to two of the couple’s six kids and that the power couple even gave her a huge diamond ring — as thanks.

Now, for the first time, Cohn is speaking out about the chatter exclusively to Celebuzz.

“That story seems to be going around, which is so interesting,” she said.

But as we found, Cohn proved to be the ultimate gate-keeper, refusing to divulge whether she is indeed godmother, let alone secrets of the parents to Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3.

“I just don’t talk about any of that,” the actress insisted.

Why so cloak and dagger about the pair, who announced their engagement on April 13?

“I’ve seen friends of mine who even put their toe in the shallow end of discussing their private life and then it becomes the story,” Cohn told Celebuzz.

Though she wasn’t up for discussing her connection to the Brangelina brood, Cohn was happy to gab about another A-lister: Brad’s Oceans Eleven buddy George Clooney!

The eternal bachelor, 50, appeared as handyman George Burnett for two seasons on Facts of Life.

Cohn said she was blown away by the Academy Award winner.

“He was hysterically funny, terrifically charismatic. His talent was obvious,” she recalls of Clooney, adding “It was the same when I met Johnny Depp on 21 Jump Street. It was a feeling of, ‘I don’t know what you’re going to do, but holy hell you’re going to have a lot of people watching you.’”

The actress said she is still close with Kim Fields (Tootie), revealing that the two will soon appear on Andy Cohen’s Bravo show Watch What Happens Live.

Though she hasn’t stayed in close contact with Lisa Whelchel (Blair) or Nancy McKeon (Jo) — adding they are both “quite religious” — Cohn does assure fans, “We’ll be like sisters for the rest of our lives.”

Following her Facts of Life days, Mindy went on to be the voice of Velma for 12 years in the cartoon Scooby-Doo and currently appears in ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager alongside another ’80s icon, Molly Ringwald.

However, she hasn’t forgotten where she’s came from.

“A lot of people feel if you did a sitcom in the ’80s, you should be apologetic,” she added. “I happen to think if you’re on any show for nine years and it touches people, you should be proud of that. I’m still so moved when someone has the courage to come up to me and say hi.”

Since Pitt and Jolie’s April 13th engagement announcement, the tabloid media has again been salivating at the thought of a race to the altar between the two women, despite the fact that Aniston, 43, isn’t even engaged yet to her beau Justin Theroux, 40.

Aniston has even said in the past that the magazines have invented a feud between her and the longstanding couple in order to sell magazines!

Celebuzz also caught up with star stylist Rachel Zoe to get her opinion on what the Oscar-winning actress should wear on her big day. “Oh my God, honestly she is so beautiful I don’t think she can go wrong,” Zoe told us exclusively of Angelina. “She’s going to do whatever she [feels] most comfortable in I’m sure, because she is so comfortable with herself. I’m sure it will be very elegant.”

She adds, “I have a feeling it could be Versace, or I don’t know, maybe Versace, or Armani. Or who knows, I could see them quietly getting married somewhere and no one will know what she wears!”

‘No Flowers, Nothing Ostentatious’: Brad Pitt’s Wedding Planner Details Plans For ‘Cutting Edge’ Nuptials With Angelina Jolie (EXCLUSIVE)

The wedding planner who Brad Pitt tapped to coordinate his nuptials to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston has spoken exclusively to Celebuzz about what we can expect when the Golden Globe-winning star ties the knot to fiancé Angelina Jolie.

“I don’t think Brad is going to have a huge wedding like before, but I’m sure it’s going to be tastefully done and glamorous,” Kevin Lee — a wedding planner for Hollywood’s biggest stars — said, in an exclusive interview.

“The first wedding (to Aniston) was on a huge scale. We had fireworks and a huge tent. It was spectacular. Now, Brad has six kids.”

Lee said he believes the couple’s brood – Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3 — will be involved in the ceremony.

“I’ve done a lot of weddings with families and when you have kids, it’s a little bit different,” Lee told Celebuzz.

“I’m sure it’s going to be a little more romantic and family oriented.”

Whilst Lee said he hasn’t been approached by Brad, 48, or Angelina, 36, about planning their top-secret ‘I do’s’ – yet — the man considered the go-to guy for Tinsel town’s elite admitted that he would “absolutely love” to coordinate the wedding.

He also provided a candid insight into what the big day could look like!

“I’m sure Brad does want a very stylish and beautiful wedding,” said Lee. “He won’t want tons of flowers or anything ostentatious, he doesn’t like that. He’s very classy and elegant, but it has to have a little bit more today’s (cutting edge) look.”

When the Moneyball star married Friends star Aniston on July 29, 2000, at a multi million-dollar estate in Malibu, Calif., it was the groom — and not the bride — who was the major force behind the design and décor of the event, revealed Lee.

“Brad was very, very artistic,” he said. “He had a great sense of style.”

Lee said he expected Brad’s “great taste” to flow when he weds his Mr & Mrs Smith costar, rumored to be at the French home they own, Château Miraval — a sprawling and scenic venue.

In the meantime, the couple and their kids have jetted to the Galápagos Islands to celebrate the engagement, which was announced on April 13.

The actresses have been at the center of one of the biggest celebrity feuds ever since Jen and Brad Pitt ended and the romance between Angie and Brad began.

No doubt both women are A-list heavy hitters in Hollywood, but still, years after Brad and Jen’s divorce, many fans are still fighting on the side of either Team Jolie or Team Aniston.

Super couple Brad Pitt, 48, and Angelina Jolie, 36, took their six kids to the Galapagos Islands to celebrate their long awaited engagement, and have been seen frolicking on the beach and having family fun time ever since. Their latest excursion involved a boat and a private jet, as they were seen boarding both on Monday afternoon.

Definitely not your typical family vacay!

Over the weekend, they were seen doing a bit more “normal” family activities as Shiloh played in the sand, Vivienne took a nap, and Zahara played in the waves with her dad.

He might be the go-to wedding photographer for the stars, but famed shutterbug Robert Evans doesn’t expect to receive a call from Angelina Jolie asking him to snap her ‘I Do’s’ with fiancé Brad Pitt.

Robert — who shot Brad, 48, and Jennifer Aniston, 43, when they wed in July 2000 — told Celebuzz: “Most women don’t want anything to do with the last wife’s wedding!”

“I would be very surprised if they called me… I mean, if I got to do it, great, but I’m not counting on it,” said Robert, who also photographed Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ nuptials, along with those of Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.

Brad and Angelina, 36, have not yet revealed plans for their nuptials — his second, her third.
