“While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads,” Bristol, the eldest daughter of Palin, wrote in a blog post titled ‘Hail to the Chiefs – Malia and Sasha Obama.’

The young mother-of-one added:

“In this case, it would’ve been nice if the President would’ve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee.”

Responding to another attack, this time online, in reference to her mother’s TLC reality show Sarah Palin’s Alaska, Bristol wrote to a user on a social networking site:

One reality star that was none too thrilled with Bristol’s blast was Jersey Shore girl Jenni “JWoww” Farley, who tweeted back in rebuttal:

“Bristol should keep her uneducated ignorant mouth shut. If Ur living in the past u wouldn’t have a kid w/out marriage #hypocrite. It’s 2012!”

Bristol welcomed her first child with then-boyfriend Levi Johnston at the age of 17. They were not married and the two later split. Johnston has since gotten another girl pregnant, and plans to name their child Breeze Bereta, after his favorite gun.

JWoww, 26, added of the gay marriage isssue: “My best friend will get married one day and not just have civil union with his man. Stop hating people.”

In a blog post, the 21-year-old single mother said, “we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview.” Bristol, who is the daughter of former Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin, had a son at the age of 17, with her then-boyfriend Levi Johnston. The two had a very rocky relationship, but ultimately broke up after trying to make things work, and the two do not parent their 3-year-old son Tripp together.

The 21-year-old daughter of former Vice President candidate Sarah Palin, wrote a blog post about her thoughts on Obama’s decision to finally admit that he does in fact support marriage equality, and didn’t exactly agree with him. In the interview with ABC News where Obama finally revealed his support, he said one of his biggest influences was not only his wife Michelle, but his daughters Sasha and Malia, who didn’t understand why some of their friends’ parents couldn’t marry.

It seems as though Bristol had a problem with that sentiment, as she blogged:

“While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads. In this case, it would’ve been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that – as great as her friends may be – we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids’ worldview. In this situation, it was the other way around. I guess we can be glad that Malia and Sasha aren’t younger, or perhaps today’s press conference might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox.

He and his pregnant girlfriend Sunny Oglesby sat down with The Insider for an interview, during which Sunny stood by her man, saying, “I’m tired of people thinking that my boyfriend’s a bad father especially now that I’m having his baby. I don’t want people thinking that about him.”

Levi, who is well known for putting it all out there, admits that he doesn’t actually feel like a dad to his son with Bristol Palin.

Bristol is said to be working on a reality show with her former Dancing with the Stars castmate Kyle Massey. Meanwhile, her baby daddy Levi Johnston is making the rounds to blast Bristol after she wrote about him in her book.

Bristol wrote that she felt Levi “stole” her virginity, but he has a different take on the tale.

“That was about the only hurtful thing she’s called me so far,” he told Dr. Phil. “Obviously she’s not using the date rape thing, but it’s horrifying for someone you date for four years to say that.”

Levi complained that he hasn’t see his little boy (now two and a half) in over a month, but then confessed that he’s behind on child support.

There are some on-again off-again couples we’re rooting for, but in this case we’re glad Bristol has moved on and is doing her thing!

A source close to the Dancing with the Stars contestants tells Celebuzz that the two have grown close as friends: ”They are both in relationships. Kyle has a long-term girlfriend.”

Part of the National Enquirer report, however, may ring true (maybe).

Mama Palin is supposedly upset with Bristol’s relationship — but the tabloid never gives specifics on who the guy is. Their source says: 

“Sarah is furious at Bristol for going so quickly from man to man … She is doing her best to prevent Bristol’s new relationship from being featured in the reality show.”

Given that our contacts also say Bristol is dating, it may be fair to assume part of the story could be correct in that Sarah doesn’t want her daughter’s private life to be aired on TV. Fair enough! 

Kyle and Bristol will be moving in together, but it’s to film a new reality show. The currently untitled project will follow her move to Los Angeles, where she’ll be living with her DWTS buddy and his brother Christopher Massey to work on an as-yet unidentified charity project.

Celebuzz contacted Kylie’s talent agency, who confirmed our source’s info, saying, “No, Bristol and Kyle are not dating. Bristol’s mom and dad are really great people. They are fun, intelligent and are great to be around when you get to know them. Bristol is a sweet girl; she and Kyle became great friends during DWTS and the show idea was developed in the breakroom at the rehearsal studio. Angel Massey, Christopher Massey and the Palin family got along very well during the run of the show. If you watch some of the tapes from DWTS, Mrs. Palin was cheering Kyle on as his family was cheering for Bristol as well. Kyle has that infectious personality that allows him to be uninhibited by the normal gossip or negative energy as it relates to other people — that’s why he always makes friends with people everywhere he goes. Kyle’s mom and Mrs. Palin and Bristol’s dad all get along well, and Christopher, Kyle, Tripp and Bristol will make a great team for sure on screen. It will b a fun show, stay tuned!”

Whatever she’s doing, it’s treating her right; it’s a whole new Bristol! A ton of celebs are flaunting svelte silhouettes, thanks to losing a collective ton of weight! While some started with already enviable figures, others admittedly had a battle of the bulge. 

Oh, how they’ve transformed — from Drew Barrymore and Kelly Osbourne to Jonah Hill and Kyle Massey — see who shed their former selves to debut a brand new body!

The new Bristol appears to have slimmed down, considerably changing her appearance. Celebuzz posted the before and after shots on our Facebook page and some people didn’t even recognize her!

Not only is her baby daddy Levi Johnston commenting, but we asked a plastic surgeon to weigh in with his thoughts, too. Here’s what people are saying:

The Facebook comments were overwhelmingly positive, with all agreed that she’s transformed — and almost every single commenter said it was for the better. Levi, on the other hand, is playing it cool by telling Rumor Fix: ”I haven’t checked her out so I really wouldn’t know … Go on, do your thing girl, because I’m over it.”

Some are unsure that Bristol’s results are totally natural. While losing weight can certainly change the shapes and contours of the face, it could also be the work of a good doctor. This is Hollywood, so the Celebuzz staff has a few face experts on speed dial! We hit up  Dr. Gabriel Chiu of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery to comment. NOTE: Dr. Chiu did not treat Bristol; his assessment is based on analyzing numerous before and after photos.

He tells Celebuzz: “In my professional opinion, Bristol has had work done to her face; fillers in her lips — both upper and lower — to make them fuller. She may also have had fillers placed in her cheeks, but not necessarily, since I believe she has had liposuction of her jawline, which can give the illusion of fuller, more defined cheeks as well. Bristol has also had a chin augmentation, likely to correct the asymmetry — the left side is fuller than the right in all frontal photos. She may have had her nose worked on as well, as there is a change in the light reflection over the middle third of her nose and the tip looks a little sculpted. As for her eyes and forehead, the minor changes may be due to clever eye makeup and brow shaping, but Bristol may be using Botox or Dysport, which can give these changes as well.”

The world’s most famous teen mom (who is actually now 20) will have a new job to go along with her new face. It was announced yesterday that she will star in a reality show that follows her move to Los Angeles, where she’ll be living with former “DWTS” finalist Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher Massey to work on an as-yet unidentified charity project. 

Celebuzz caught up with two-time champ — the certifiably hunky Mark Ballas, to get the dish on this season, his partner Chelsea Kane, and he even gives a comparison from his last partner, the much-discussed Bristol Palin.

Your partner this season is Chelsea Kane. How is she doing so far?

We’re having a good time. It’s only been a week so far, but it’s a great time. She tries really hard. She’s never danced before, but she shows a lot of potential and has a lot of personality. I think people are going to like her because she’s a really cool girl.

Have you met any of the other new cast members?

I’ve met them all except Petra [Nemcova]. It’s a really cool vibe this season. Everyone is really sweet and chill. It’s going to be a fun season.

Your last partner was Bristol Palin. How is Chelsea comparing so far?

It’s completely different. I’ve had eight partners now, so I don’t really compare them. It’s only been a week, but it’s been good. She’s working really hard and having a good time.

After a tight finale where everyone was still in contention for the DWTS title, ‘Dirty Dancing’ starlet Jennifer Grey emerged victorious, beating out Massey in the final showdown. Grey, 50, edged out the 19-year-old Massey despite having a slipped disc in her back.

20-year-old Palin’s night ended early, as she placed third in the finale.

Only time will tell, but ABC isn’t taking any chances with Bristol’s safety. PopEater reports the Dancing set has implemented heightened security measures and is on “high alert” ahead of tonight’s finale.

“Nowhere in the world is going to be more secure than the ‘Dancing’ set on Monday,” PopEater’s Rob Shuter reports. “The audience will all go through extreme security checks and not even the president of the United States could get backstage without the appropriate credentials that evening.”

Something tells us former vice-presidential candidates of the United States will have no trouble.

The former teen mom and the Jersey Shore lady-killer recently teamed up for a public-service announcement for The Candie’s Foundation, coming together to promote safe behavior despite their philosophical differences.

“He has to move to the city limits and get his GED before he can actually run,” Bristol criticized. “If he wants to continue his education, that’s great.”

Ellen then asked, “Do you think he’d be a good Mayor? Do you think he knows about politics?” 

“No,” Bristol replied. “It is an important position, and I don’t think he knows what he is getting himself into.”

The position in question was once held by Sarah Palin long before she rose to the global scene. If all goes to plan for Levi, his run will be chronicled on a new show called Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office. 

On the subject of new love, the ex-governor’s daughter isn’t bothered that she has nothing in the works: “It’s really hard for me to want to date after the situation I had myself in, and I’m not worried about a boyfriend right now.”

It came down to Bristol Palin and The Sitch, but he was the one who got the boot for an Argentine Tango that some called the worst in show history! Though he stormed off the Dancing set Monday night after tough judge Bruno Tonioli called his routine a “terrible mess,” The Sitch attempted to go the humble route in his on-air post-elimination interview.

“It is what it is. I tried my best and at the end of the day somebody’s got to go home,” he said. “If I made it to the fourth round, that was my best I guess.”

The Shore star swore he gave it his all, seeming to take comfort in some high points, like last week’s futuristic foxtrot.

“I’m not a dancer and I tried to practice. It’s definitely hard,” he added. “On Jersey Shore, you get a little keyhole into who I am. On Dancing with the Stars, you got to see the real Situation.”

But while The Sitch played it classy on the air, he skipped post-show interviews with reporters backstage, according to E!, which points out that “that never happens with DWTS eliminates,” (most of whom like to close out their final 15 minutes of fame.)

The Sitch’s partner Karina Smirnoff said he might have been an actual sore loser, after complaining of a wisdom tooth or sore throat prior to the taping.

In between softly-lit nuzzle sessions, Brittani is seen battling her mom over her relationship with Levi, breaking down in tears when her mom has him arrested for charges unknown. Though Levi’s ex Bristol Palin’s mom Sarah Palin never had him detained by police, Levi likely drew on some of his drama with the family. As E! puts it, the video’s all-too-familiar plot may have busted up Levi and Bristol’s second engagement.

Without jumping to conclusions, a few signs point to yes. First, RadarOnline snapped pics of Levi and Brittani shopping for teddy bears (presumably for his son, Tripp, with ex Bristol Palin) in Los Angeles on August 28. That same weekend, Senser wrote on her Facebook page: “I love coming to LA… I’m sooo blessed!” According to Radar, Levi flew in from Alaska and Brittani traveled from her native Michigan for the meet-up.

The pair connected while filming the music video for aspiring singer Brittani’s single, “After Love.” It seems Brittani has been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles, again taking to her FB page on Monday to say she “is excited for her weekend in LA……..theres a couple of people there I have missed:)”

Levi’s ex Bristol is also in Los Angeles, filming Dancing with the Stars.
