To many a Pennsylvania lady, Jason Hoppy is “the one that got away.”  To Bethenny Frankel, Hoppy is behaving like the one who won’t go away.

The sales executive and estranged husband to America’s favorite-ish Skinnygirl played with his daughter, Bryn in a New York City park yesterday, still wearing his wedding band.

Children with glasses melt my heart, especially when those glasses are hot pink.  Throw in a ruffled cashmere dress and I’m bowled over by the cuteness that ensues.

The question everyone wants to know is: Why is Hoppy still wearing his ring?

The PA native refuses to leave the home he built with Frankel, which she reportedly owns a huge portion of.  A divorce lawyer told the Daily Mail that despite this, Hoppy “will still be able to claim a share under New York law.”

A source told Radar Online that Frankel doesn’t get why her soon-to-be ex is still sporting said piece of jewelry.

“Bethenny thinks he’s doing it to garner sympathy and to appear as the wounded party. Jason told her he’s still wearing the ring so that their two-year-old daughter, Bryn doesn’t get confused,” the source explained  ”But that reasoning doesn’t fly with Bethenny because Bryn’s still too young to understand that her parents are getting divorcing, or to even comprehend what that means.”

I’ll be your shoulder to cry on, Hoppy.
