CoverGirl star Taylor Swift told People Magazine in 2008 why she prefers a fresh face ever so often:

“I have blonde eyelashes and blonde eyebrows, so my typical insecurity is that my eyes go away when I don’t have makeup on. But it’s important to be comfortable with who you are and go natural once in a while. It’s really something to let someone in and see you completely vulnerable. I write really personal songs and let people in, but usually with my face I have makeup. So it’s interesting to get personal and vulnerable for a photo shoot.”

Sifting through dozens of hours of celebrity sex tapes has driven home one point above all else: these people need writers. The dialog … yikes.

This clip comes just before the release of Zac’s new film 17 Again next Friday, his first big role that doesn’t involve singing or dancing. 17 Again producer Adam Shankman co-directed the Funny Or Die clip and tells People magazine, “A lot of people did it because they want to hang out with Zac. There’s no shortage of star-hosted bashes planned for December 31 this year, and as a holiday service, Celebuzz has compiled a stack of invitations for the hottest soirees to ring in 2009.

Feisty songbird Pink will be holding court at Wasted Space in Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel, in a concert accompanied by an open bar. (Just don’t offer the guest of honor a drink.)

If you’re looking to hang with Diddy, you’re out of luck—tickets to his New Year’s shindig at Liv nightclub, in Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau hotel, are already sold out. But maybe if you hang out at the front door and look hot and sweet enough, the bouncer will cut you a break.

New parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson will be ringing in the new year at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, where admission can be gained for as little as $200 and up to $5,000 for a table package.

Also in Sin City for the big night are Hills villains Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who’ll preside over the bash at Christian Audigier: The Nightclub.

Though, really, if that’s your only option this New Year’s Eve, you might consider staying home.

Taking a break from her meteoric film career, former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra served as a Celebrity Bunny Dealer at the Playboy Club in Palms Hotel and Casino over the weekend, ensuring that even the players who lost sported ear-to-ear grins.

The casino stint is only the latest step in the 36-year-old’s relationship with venerable skin mag Playboy; the actress (born Tara Patrick) has posed naked in the publication’s pages several times since its May 1996 issue, most recently for Playboy‘s January 2009 edition, which came out December 12.

The actress, who has appeared in spoof movies ranging from the Scary Movie series to this year’s Disaster Movie, first appeared in the pages of Hugh Hefner‘s famous publication in 1996 at the age of 24.

Electra’s spread (so to speak) will coincide with the magazine’s 55th anniversary. The issue hits newsstands December 12.

No word on how Electra’s boyfriend, former Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, is taking the news. But considering he was once in a rock star, it’s probably a positive.

The Disaster Movie star tells People magazine that she and former Korn guitarist Patterson—who became engaged in April—are “going to avoid the everyone else’s pressure and go at our own pace [with regard to marriage].

“Right now, we’re just taking things really slow,” says Electra, who notes that there are currently “no plans and no pressure” for the two to get hitched.

Electra has previously been married to former NBA player Dennis Rodman and Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro. Which makes her reluctance to tie the knot a third time completely understandable.

Disaster Movie‘s Carmen Electra battled herself, rocking an absolutely adorable high-waisted skirt and a pair of heels with some serious inch-age going on one day, but then faltering quite a bit with a lingerie-like dress on another occasion. 

Suri Cruise really hit the fashion nail on the head with her casual day dress and dainty little flats for a shopping trip with mom, Katie Holmes, in NYC. She certainly is quite the toddler fashionista!

Looking perky in Italy, Carmen has been attending photo calls sans castmates Kim Kardashian and disaster-prone Vannessa Minnillo. Isn’t the stunner a bit lonely? Maybe she brought along some souvenir DVDs…. Or not.

Thankfully not much longer. Reports say that she and Kardashian (along with Jenny McCarthy) will band together for a Superbowl bash.

The newest one of those spoof flicks that clowns on every movie and pop cultural phenomenon of the past six months comes out Friday night.

It’s called Disaster Movie, and it stars Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Minnillo.

Kim and Carmen share a ladies wrestling scene in the movie that is sure to pack drooling fanboys in the aisles.

Thankfully, this movie was shot before Kim barely averted the disaster of her cut toe.

The movie, a take-off of, well, disaster movies, skewers subjects such as Sex and the City, The Incredible Hulk, Miley Cyrus, Batman, Wanted, Amy Winehouse and Hancock.

So it’s a fairly timely project. Fifty years from now, people watching it aren’t going to know what the hell all those things are.

That’s right, not all celebrities have legs that go for miles.

They do have the funds to buy shoes that add a few inches, but whenever you’re feeling down and glorifying the lives of Hollywood’s finest, remember that some of them might look like runway models, but they can’t reach the top shelves of their walk-in closets.

In one scene, Electra satirizes Angelina Jolie‘s gun-toting femme fatale character from her hit flick Wanted. Jolie will have all of France after her when she hears about this travesty!

“When we shot the scene, the movie wasn’t even out yet. We literally just watched one scene in the trailer and sort of spoofed that,” Electra told Us.

Bringing up the rear is Electra’s co-star Kim Kardashian, who says that Angie will enjoy the performance.

Kim’s probably backing Carmen up out of gratitude because she politely passed her a towel after Kim was doused by a drink thrown by Shanna Moakler at Electra’s BBQ.

“She’s going to think it’s hot, because Carmen looks hot, and did it justice,” Kardashian said. “It’s all good.”

Yes, because Angelina Jolie is rushing right out to see Disaster Movie. Oh, Kim.
