Mrs. Brady — erm, we mean Florence Henderson!

The Brady Bunch star is turning 79 this Thursday, and it’s only fitting that she’s blowing out her birthday candles on Valentine’s Day — she is the most loving mother on the small screen, after all.

With her tender words of advice and oh-so-sweet housewife persona, we’ll admit that Henderson had us wishing Carol Brady was our mom…but we’d settle for the Bradys adopting us.  Seriously though, she perfectly managed and raised six children under one roof without a single sweat, all while raking in a loyal audience and some high ratings. Not to mention, Henderson was seemingly that same superstar in real life, nurturing her own four kids. Talk about art imitating life!

Although her Brady Bunch days have since ended, Henderson has stayed just as busy, flaunting what she’s got on Dancing With The Stars, hosting The Florence Henderson Show, and raising money for the Special Olympics.

So to celebrate everyone’s favorite mom (but really, Florence, will you be ours?), Celebuzz is taking a look back at Mrs. Brady’s very best pieces of advice.
