Charlize Theron on Being a New Mom: ‘It Just Feels Right’ (VIDEO)

In March, it was revealed that Charlize Theron had adopted a son, Jackson.

Well, now the Oscar-winning beauty is opening up about her adorable little boy, and the two-year process it took for the adoption to go through.

“It just feels exactly how it’s supposed to feel,” she revealed in a new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, airing Thursday. “I don’t know how to describe it. It just feels right.

What was the adoption process like?

As Charlize explained: “It took me a while. The process took around two years. My mom said the most beautiful thing. She said, “It took me nine months to fall in love with you [when] were growing in my stomach … It you two years to fall in love with this little baby.

“It really took two years of just waiting,” she added. “Then one day it’s finally there.”

Are you blushing as much as we are?

MTV’s Josh Horowitz recently sat down with the cast of Snow White and the Huntsman, and got them to read a part from the erotic novel that has everyone talking, Fifty Shades of Grey. While Kristen Stewart was a little more coy about reading it, Charlize Theron really got into the spirit, and Chris Hemsworth seemed a little (adorably) embarrassed by the whole thing.

Is Kristen, 22, reading this book just a preview of things to come?

Celebuzz recently talked to the star about the book, which is being adapted for the screen by Universal, and got her thoughts on if she would want to play the female lead, who was based on her Twilight character, Bella. Check it out below.

Charlize Theron on Adopting: I Never Thought I’d Be a Single Mom (PHOTOS)

Although many were shocked when Charlize Theron adopted her son Jackson in March, the actress always knew she wanted to adopt a baby. Revealing that she made a promise to herself over 28 years ago, she told Australia’s Madison magazine:

“My mother found [a letter I wrote]. It said, ‘Would you please take me to orphanage, so that I can go and adopt a baby?’ I always knew I would adopt. Always.”

Chatting more about her new bundle of joy, the 26-year-old actress does reveal she didn’t think she’d be raising a child alone.

“You know, I don’t think any mother aims to be a single mom. I didn’t wish for that, but it happened,” the Snow White & The Huntsman star said.

Theron has been single since ending her nine-year partnership with Stuart Townsend in 2010.

Talking about marriage, she admits it “has never been that important to me. I don’t know why exactly. Some might say it’s because my parents didn’t have a good marriage, but I don’t think so. I treat my relationships like marriages. The ceremony isn’t that important to me.”

There are a number of themes that resonate in Snow White and the Huntsman — hitting theaters June 1 — as Charlize Theron, the evil Queen Ravenna, is pitted against Kristen Stewart, as Snow White.

During interviews at the London premiere on May 14, K-Stew, 22, pointed to one subject matter — female empowerment.

When Celebuzz sat down one-on-one with new mom Theron, 36, we asked her if she felt the same connection as her younger co-star.

“There is something great about two women kind of going at it … that will resonate, I think, with women in today’s society,” Theron told Celebuzz correspondent Taryn Ryder. You can watch the view of the interview, above.

Another theme in the film is that a woman doesn’t need a man to be powerful. Theron’s response to that?

The South African beauty — who adopted a boy named Jackson, as a single parent, in March — told Celebuzz that if you live a life seeking such masculine fulfillment, “you’re probably not going to feel good about yourself.”

She added:

Maybe I’m just really lucky that I was raised by parents who just– I’ve never gone through my life feeling like I was only half a person until I met someone else. I feel that my relationships have been such blessings because I’ve been allowed into someone’s life. They of course make you better and all of that stuff, but I never thought of myself less of a person once I left a relationship.

Charlize Theron on Falling in Love With Kristen Stewart: It Only Took Five Minutes (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

Charlize Theron has been extremely vocal about her admiration for fellow-actress Kristen Stewart, all of which was present at the premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman Monday night in London.

But when did this love-fest actually begin?

“It happened within the first five minutes of meeting her,” Charlize, 37, told Celebuzz exclusively at the premiere. “We were on a plane going to San Diego, for ComicCon, and I just fell in love with her.”

What else did Charlize tell us?

In the film, Charlize plays the evil Queen Ravenna, who is determined to steal the heart of Snow White (Stewart) and, thus, live forever.

But in real life, Charlize’s relationship with Kristen couldn’t be more opposite. In fact, the Oscar-winning beauty had even more positive things to say about K-Stew at the Snow White junket over the weekend, during which she predicted the 22-year-old Twilight actress will have “an amazing career” in Hollywood. Meanwhile, signs of Charlize and Kristen’s professional friendship appeared to spill out onto Monday’s red carpet, when the two showed up wearing very similar dress. As for how that actually happened, Charlize quipped: “We’re telepathically speaking to each other, I think.”

In an exclusive two-part interview with Kristen, the 22-year-old Twilight beauty opens up about the sexual tension between she and Chris Hemsworth, who plays the huntsman.

“If we had another actor that play the part, it might not have happened,”K-Stew revealed exclusively to Celebuzz over the weekend, while at the Arundel Castle, near London. “It was totally Chris’ energy — that was very clear.”

“It was also an opportunity to take a story you think you know so well and a story that relies on destiny,” she continued.

Charlize Theron: Kristen Stewart Will Have ‘An Amazing Career’ (EXCLUSIVE VIDEO)

Over the weekend, Celebuzz’s own Taryn Ryder flew across the pond for the big premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman (better known on the Internet as ‘SWATH’), during which we got all the scoop on the much-anticipated film from its stars, Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart.

Sitting outside of the famous Arundel Castle, located near London, Celebuzz chatted it up with Charlize about her many one-liners in the movie (out June 1) and how she turned one specific line into a running joke on the set.

But perhaps the best moment of our interview was when Charlize took a moment to praise Kristen Stewart — a moment in which the Oscar-winning beauty made a bold prediction.

What did she have to say about Kristen?

“I think that she is going to have an amazing career,” Charlize, 36, said.

She elaborated:

I think, as an actor, she’s doing it, because she really loves her job and she is really good at it. My experience has been, if your reasons for doing this is authentic as that and you have the tenacity and guts that she has, then I think you have the right personality for this job. I think she has that.

Of course, given that Charlize — who plays the evil Queen Ravenna in the film — just adopted a baby son, Jackson, Celebuzz couldn’t return to the States without asking about her new life as a mom — specifically, whether or not she’ll read Snow White to her new bundle of joy.

“I’m gonna have Kristen come over and pretend to be the bad guy, just so that my son loves me more!” she quipped, on how she will explain her villainous role to Jackson. (The single mom adopted Jackson in March, according to reports.)

Costume Designer Colleen Atwood Talks Dressing Kristen Stewart for ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ (VIDEO)

When it comes to clothing celebs for the big screen, no one does it quite like costume designer Colleen Atwood.

For her latest project, the three-time Oscar winner tackled dressing the cast of Snow White and the Huntsman and, according to the seasoned pro, she had a little help from the flick’s very own Kristen Stewart with the conceptualization of Snow White’s wardrobe.

“I sat down with Kristen and we talked about her take on it,” the costumer designer told Celebuzz. “I saw her physicality and knew that she was a good girl for moving around and doing a lot of action.”

What did Atwood change for Kristen?

Knowing Kristen’s love of getting involved in filming physical stunts, Atwood ditched Snow White’s famous frilly gown for tattered, leather leggings.

“You make it so it works for them,” she said. “The second thing is that you make it so they look good in it — which for her wasn’t too big of a struggle.”

Everyone together now: aww!

While catching a flight out of LAX on Monday afternoon, Charlize Theron was seen doting on her son, Jackson. Though the 36-year-old Snow White and the Huntsman actress announced that she had adopted a son from South Africa back in March, this is the first time we’ve seen the little bundle of joy.

By the looks of it, Charlize brought her baby boy with her as she celebrated Cinco de Mayo over the weekend.

A source told Celebuzz that the star was seen eating at Malo restuarant in LA’s Silver Lake neighborhood, where she joined by little Jackson. Mother and son bonding time — got to love it!
