Despite being one of the stars of ABC Family’s new comedy Baby Daddy, Chelsea Kane admits she’s in no hurry to have a child of her own.

“I’m not ready to become a mother,” Kane — who is dating former One Tree Hill actor Stephen Colletti – told Celebuzz in a recent interview.

“And I know doing this show makes parenting look really easy,” she added. “When they cry, we get to hand them off to their mom. I’m sure when I have one of my own, I’ll be like, ‘Wait, where’s the person to change the baby?’”

On the show, which premiered in June, Kane plays Riley, the next door neighbor and close friend of Ben’s (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) whom she’s been in love with since they were both little.

The perky 23-year-old blonde is a natural in the role; however, as she admitted to Celebuzz, she had very little experience with kids before she got the gig. Scratch that — she had no experience at all.

“I had actually never held a baby before this show,” she said. “I didn’t tell anyone because I didn’t want to lose the part or freak anyone out or freak the real mom out!”

Naturally, Kane’s secret didn’t stay one for too long.

“The producers caught on when they saw the look of sheer terror on my face whenever they brought the kids out,” she quipped. “It’s been a real fun learning curve for me. On camera, I’m supposed to be the one who has it all together, so hopefully you don’t see that I’m terrified in the first couple of episodes.”

A Phoenix native, Kane got her first big break on the Disney Channel sitcom Jonas, opposite the Jonas Brothers.

The gig led to a stint on Dancing With the Stars Season 12, on which she finished third with partner Mark Ballas.

After Dancing ended, Kane said she and a group of friends celebrated by flying down to Mexico.

“I told [my friends] that we’re going on a beach vacation, because I’m never going to feel this good in a bikini again,” she said. “So we’re going and we’re going to take lots of pictures. I wore that bikini everywhere!”

Kane may not miss the grueling rehearsal sessions that came with Dancing; however she does miss her show diet, which precluded — wait for it — nothing.

“That was a blast, to have donuts for breakfast and dessert with every meal. You’d bring it all off almost immediately. I do miss being able to eat whatever you want at any time.”

Pretty Little Liars‘ Lucy Hale and Chelsea Kane, who will star in the upcoming show Baby Daddy, both stepped out at the network’s upfronts in NYC on Monday and were sporting some colorful outfits. Looking very business-woman chic, Lucy went with a matchy-matchy pants suit while Chelsea paired the bright pink pants with an orange top.

Girl fight!!! Just kidding. Celebrity jokester Chelsea Kane couldn’t help herself on the set of One Tree Hill, posting a behind-the-scenes pic that hints at her “mean girl” guest role. 

Chelsea blogged about her experiences playing the role of terrible Tara on One Tree Hill‘s upcoming 9th season.

The actress also uses this post to delve into the psyche of her character and asks readers to recall a time when they were effected by a “TARRAble” person in high school.

“Have you ever had a girl in school pick on you for no reason?” she asks “Well, Tara certainly likes to stir up the pot and cause a ton of conflict. Why do you think she’s that way, or anyone for that matter? It’s too easy to just believe someone is truly ‘bad,’ there are always layers and reasons that make people behave the way they do.”

She may have lost Dancing with the Stars to Hines Ward but that won’t keep Chelsea Kane from enjoying a fun-filled beach vacation with boyfriend Stephen Colletti.

The adorable couple were spotted cuddling and smooching in the warm sands of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico during a recent weekend vacation. The Disney starlet showed off her toned frame in a white string bikini while Laguna Beach beau stayed true to his SoCal roots in black and white boardshorts.

Chelsea and Stephen were down in Mexico for a weekend getaway with a group of friends, including singer Kristy Frank. When they weren’t making out on the beach, the group flew kites and relaxed near their luxury resort, Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort and Spa. Must be nice!

Despite coming in third place on Tuesday night’s Dancing with the Stars, Chelsea Kane was in high spirits as she was spotted outside the Good Morning America studios in NYC.

Chelsea, who lost the mirror ball trophy to Hines Ward, smiled for the cameras and greeted fans early Wednesday morning.

It was a crazy three months, but the 21-year-old actress only had the best things to say about her DWTS experience.

Dancing with the Stars finalist Chelsea Kane got some big-name support when old friends Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas dropped by the DWTS finale.

“Just watched Chelsea Kane crush it,” Joe tweeted during the finale. “She is a true talent. Vote for Chels!” Before she became a dancing queen, Chelsea co-starred with the Jonas Brotehrs on their Disney Channel show, Jonas. Chelsea played Joe’s love interest, Stella.

Will the presence of Joe and Nick help Chelsea win DWTS?

While Chelsea is well-known to Disney fans, she has been struggling to earn enough votes to stay in the competition, despite repeatedly earning high scores form the judges. Before she started filming for DWTS, Chelsea told Celebuzz that she hoped that she would last long enough in the competition for her Jonas friends to stop by and root for her. Hopefully, the JoBros will help give Chelsea the bump that she needs to win the competition.

The hunky JoBros were joined by Chelsea’s boyfriend and One Tree Hill star Stephen Colletti who recently told Celebuzz that he won’t be following in his girlfriend’s footsteps and joining DWTS. However, he clearly isn’t against supporting his lady on the show!

It looks like the Dancing with the Stars romance bug has bit Kirstie Alley and Romeo! Well, not really, but the two stars definitely enjoyed playing a smooch prank on the paparazzi.

Kirstie, 60, was photographed kissing Romeo, 21, as the former Nickelodeon star left rehearsals for the hit ABC dance show. After planting a smooch on him, Kirstie giggled and ran back into her rehearsal space while Romeo joked with the paparazzi. “Romeo and I got bored today so we decided to put on a little freak show for the paps,” Kirstie tweeted later in the day. Romeo was voted off DWTS earlier this month but perhaps he is gearing up for a special re-appearance on the show.

Over the years, Stephen has gone on to land a VJ gig, a starring role on One Tree Hill and now a new online series that follows him as he explores the National Parks with a group of friends.

Celebuzz recently got a chance to sit down with the hunky Orange County-bred star to talk about the season finale (but hopefully not series finale) of One Tree Hill, his new web series and the likelihood that he’ll follow in girlfriend Chelsea Kane‘s footsteps and appear on Dancing with the Stars. They may not be dancing shoes but Chelsea Kane‘s studded gold stilettos sure are sexy!

The Dancing with the Stars contestant (and one of Celebuzz’s favorite Disney stars) stepped up the glamor when she wore these gold pumps with three diamond studs to the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Anaheim, CA this weekend. The classic shoe shape looked fun and youthful without looking too goth-y.

Studs, particularly on footwear, are making a serious fashion impact this year. Hard punk looks were a big hit on the Paris runways for the Spring/Summer 2011 season, appearing in the collections for Balenciaga and GIvenchy. Small studs mixed onto classic shapes like Chelsea’s shoes are a perfect way to give any outfit a nice little edge.

After seven weeks of booty-shaking performances, reality star and Celebuzz celebrity blogger Kendra Wilkinson was voted off DWTS on Tuesday night.

In an emotional good-bye, Kendra thanked her dancing partner Louis van Amstel for sticking with her and “not fighting.”

“Baby Hank, I’m coming home for you!” the 25-year-old mom exclaimed. “I may not the best dancer, but I am the best mom.”

In viewer votes, Kendra was in the bottom three with Kirstie Alley and another Celebuzz favorite, Chelsea Kane. Kendra had the third-lowest judges score of the week, scoring 31 points to Kirstie and Romeo‘s 30.

Each week, Dancing With the Stars pro Lacey Schwimmer will be right here on Celebuzz breaking down the past week’s routines, who she thinks stepped and strutted their way to victory … and who stumbled and might be on their way out. Read it straight from Lacey below!

So this week was a little different (but fun!) because I got to open the show with a little dance and none other than HANSON performed! It was so awesome because this was the first time a musical act has performed on a Monday show and I choreographed the number so it was all just a lot of fun. They performed “Mmmbop,” and I’m a huge fan of the song, so it was just so cool to get to work with them.

Aside from that fabulous part (if I do say so myself), how did the rest of the night go?

Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy:
Kirstie started off the night with a samba to Britney Spears and she seriously killed it. She was so good! I think this is the first week where absolutely nothing went wrong! She got really good scores and she cried and it was just so sweet to see her so excited.

Chris Jericho & Cheryl Burke:
He did really good, despite a little slip up. Other than that though, I thought he did great. His scores were kind of all over the place, but he’s still one of my favorites and I really, really, hope he is safe tomorrow.

Romeo & Chelsie Hightower:
Romeo did a waltz to “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion and it was just hilarious. He did a great job and actually got his first 10. He even kissed Chelsie on the lips! Afterwards he kissed me on the cheek, and I have to say, it just wasn’t the same.

Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff:
Ralph did a paso doble, and despite Karina slipping and falling during the performance, Ralph was able to pick her back up and they did a good job. Definitely recovered nicely.

Kendra Wilkinson & Louis Van Amstel:
All I can say is that Kendra SHOOK it tonight! OMG! She shocked everyone and literally just shook everything! It was the first time I’ve seen her just go and attack something and she looked like she was having a blast. It was really cool to see.

Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas:
She was so cute tonight! Mark did slip and hurt his ankle during rehearsal, but he wrapped it up, iced it, popped some Advil and was good to go. They also got a 10 and it was just young, cute and fun. It was just so her personality.

Hines Ward & Kym Johnson:
As always, Hines was just so charming! The chemistry between him and Kym is just getting more and more intense each week. It was beautiful. I just sat there saying “Aw,” the whole time!

Definitely a lot of drama tonight but it was, as always, entertaining! We’re getting closer and closer to the finish, but it’s all up to you who sticks around! Be sure to vote!

It’s a match made in reality show heaven: Chelsea Kane and Laguna Beach alum Stephen Colletti made their new romance official by attending a Dancing with the Stars after-party together at The Abbey in West Hollywood.

Chelsea and Stephen hung out with her handsome dance partner (and rumored new beau of American Idol castoff Pia Toscano) Mark Ballas and model Petra Nemcova at the low-key event. Kane wore a brown silk top and black skinny jeans while her beau opted for a black leather jacket and t-shirt. Later, the two lovebirds were spotted leaving the party together. So, how did Chelsea and Stephen meet?

“We were set up on a blind date by my manager,” the Disney star tells Us Weekly. Apparently Chelsea was a fan of Stephen’s from back when he was stuck in a never-ending love triangle on MTV’s Laguna Beach! Hey, who can blame her?

The competition on Dancing with the Stars is bringing out the tough girl inside Kendra Wilkinson!

The Playmate-turned-dancer was spotted wearing a tough skull t-shirt as she left dance rehearsals for DWTS in Los Angeles. Hm, is this Kendra’s way of telling her other celeb competitors that she is not to be messed with?

Also spotted leaving rehearsals: Disney cutie Chelsea Kane who looked fitness chic in a pink t-shirt and leggings.

Spoiler alert! Dancing with the Stars held its second elimination on Tuesday night, losing one very big personality in the process. So, who got the boot this week?

Wendy Williams, talk show host diva extraordinaire, was the second contestant to get kicked off on the eleventh season of the hit ABC show. Wendy follows KROQ radio host Mike Catherwood who was eliminated on March 29.

The news shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone as Wendy has been stuck in the bottom two for the past three weeks. Wendy received a score of 15 on Monday, giving her the lowest score of the week. She was followed by Romeo and Sugar Ray Leonard who both had a score of 20.

“Thank you all for your love and support,” Wendy told her fans over Twitter after being eliminated. “You’ll never know how much you mean to me. We’ll talk tomorrow in [The Wendy Williams Show's] Hot Topics. I love you for watching.”

Wendy’s stiff dancing has come under some hard critique by the judges. “It was a dance more suited for the radio,” joked judge Len Goodman.

Even Wendy had to agree that her dancing wasn’t that fresh: “Despite stereotypes, this is one black girl who can’t even doing the running man!”

This week and going forward, Celebuzz will have an honorary Dancing With the Stars blogger … none other than DWTS pro Lacey Schwimmer! Below is her first column for us, so welcome her with open arms and jazz hands.

Hey guys! So, I’m bummed that Mike Catherwood and I were voted off last week but I’m so proud of him and how hard he worked! On a happier note, I am sooo excited to announce that I’ll be recapping the each week’s dances for Celebuzz!

Since I’ll be watching the dances LIVE each week, I figured I could give all you guys a breakdown of each couples’ moves! I can’t wait to get started!!

So, who do I think ruled the dance floor on Monday night? And whose days are numbered?

Wendy Williams & Tony Dovalani:
So far from the judges, Wendy has caught a lot of flack for not showing her personality but despite what the judges had to say, I was really proud of her performance and she’s been getting better week to week. She seriously works non-stop! A lot of people don’t realize that she’s out in New York shooting her show, then she takes a red-eye out to LA on Sunday nights to do everything that needs to be done before Monday’s show. The woman is just working her buns off and I think she’s doing great!

Romeo & Chelsie Hightower:
I thought these two did a good job! There’s some sexual tension between them that’s for sure! They’re back and forth because one minute they’ll be really into each other then the next they’ll talk back then they’re getting along and it’s cute to watch, but I thought overall they did good and tonight we definitely saw a more grown-up side of Romeo.

Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chermkosvy:
These two started off a bit shakey after Maksim’s fall, (due to his knee), but it’s seriously so common for dancers to be in pain and just keep on going. We all definitely have that “The show must go on” mentality, but it’s totally different when it’s a celebrity because they can get lost so easily, so I definitely applaud her for continuing on! They definitely realized “This happened and there’s nothing we can do about it, so we just need to move forward,” and were able to pull off a nice rumba.

Chris Jericho & Cheryl Burke:
Ok, I just have to say it: Chris and Cheryl are my favorite couple on the show! They’re both just such great people and I respect them so much and I really respect Chris after tonight. I feel like a lot of people just see him as this fun, outgoing guy, but after Monday night’s episode, we’ve seen a very different side of him. We saw where he’s come from, his struggle and what it was like losing his mom, so it was really beautiful to see Chris as Chris, and not “that wrestler guy.”

Kendra Wilkinson & Louis Van Amstel:
I love Kendra so much! She and I have so much in common because we’re both not “girly girls”,” and we like to make fun of ourselves and don’t necessarily have the best manners in the world! But tonight she was such a sexy elegant woman on the floor! I was so proud of her! They did have a little bit a prop malfunction with the smoke covering way too much of her instead of highlighting her, but they got through it, she did a great job and was just awesome!

Hines Ward & Kym Johnson:
OMG! Hines seriously threw the place upside down! The crowd just went nuts for him! He reminds me so much of my partner Kyle Massey from last season. Kyle just had that affect on people, where he could make the crowd go wild, and get them involved and that’s exactly how Hines is. Hines is just a joy to watch, you can’t help but smile when you watch him dance (especially with his mom in the audience!) This week was just such a cute side of Hines to see.

Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff:
Ralph is absolutely one of the best dancers this season, that can pretty much go without saying. However, tonight the judges kind of picked him a part a little bit, and told him a lot of the things they think he should fix, which was a lot of stuff with his hands and whatnot. What I don’t think many people realize though, is that Karina is making these dances really hard for him and what he’s showing makes it look so easy. He’s not a dancer, so add that on to the fact he’s dancing with the unbelievably sexy Karina Smirnoff as his wife his sitting right there watching him! Sure, he didn’t get the highest score but he still pulled off an amazing routine!

Petra Nemcova & Dmitry Chaplin:
Petra is the sweetest person on this planet! Whether you’ve never met her or you’ve known her forever, she’s the kind of person who is nice to you no matter what! She’s so funny, she has to kiss you on the face three times and that’s just her thing. I seriously have a girl crush on her, but besides that, she just did a great job. They danced to a beautiful Josh Groban song and it was just stunning.

Chelsea Kane & Mark Ballas:
Chelsea is one of my favorite girls to hang out with! You can definitely get that vibe from her since she’s a Disney girl, she’s kind of afraid to shake it and get sexy but I thought she definitely pulled it off tonight! After last week she asked if I could help her and of course I did! She came running up to me afterward and said, “Did I do a good job? Was I sexy enough?” And of course she was! I thought she just did great.

Sugar Ray Leonard & Anna Trebunskaya:
Last week was kind of tough for him, but he came out this week swinging, literally! I think that last week put a fire under his butt and definitely put him in gear to prepare for this week. He also improved his score by five points, which may not seem like a lot, but he has definitely made some huge improvements just since last week.

So the teams have done their dances and now it’s time to wait and see who will stick around for another week! Who do YOU think did the best? And who do you think will be going home?
