Life’s no longer a beach for pop icon Cher. But it will be for one lucky homeowner.

The iconic singer is selling her 1,800 square-foot beachside home in Venice that’s just steps away from Main Street and the hip Abbot Kinney neighborhood, according to Trulia.

The three-bedroom abode features three bathrooms, a completely remodeled kitchen and what every beach house needs — a rooftop deck with ocean views complete with a built-in BBQ and fridge.

The home’s outdoor space is surrounded by thatched bamboo for ultimate privacy and is perfect for entertaining, watching the waves, or having a California cookout.

Cher’s legendary flair for style is featured throughout the property, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and modern touches to the fixtures and furnishings.

The 66-year-old originally purchased the home in May 2010 for $1.54 million, which pales in comparison to the sprawling $45 million Malibu estate the Burlesque star has been trying to unload since 2009.

With nine Grammy Awards and now one Oscar to her name, Adele is halfway to EGOT — the rare title bestowed on individuals who have also won a Tony Award and an Emmy.

To date, only 11 people have been able to call themselves EGOT winners, including Mel Brooks, Whoopi Goldberg and Scott Rudin, whose Grammy win in 2012 officially inducted him into the exclusive club.

Following her win for Best Original Song for “Skyfall” on Sunday, Adele flirted with the idea of winning an Emmy and Tony in her future.

“Maybe I’ll do an HBO special like Beyonce did,” she joked to reporters backstage at the Dolby Theatre.

“Tony . . . I’m not so sure. Maybe one day, maybe someone might want to do a musical. It’s not my kind of thing, a musical, no offense.”

Adele, 24, is not alone in the waiting room.

Cher may be a Living Proof, but she won’t be living in her multi-million West Hollywood condo in the near future.

The “Believe” songstress is unloading her two-story home as an off-market listing with an asking price somewhere around $5.5 million, reports TMZ.

Located in Los Angeles’ exclusive Sierra Towers building, the 4,000 square foot pad has been resigned and furnished by Million Dollar Decorator Martyn Lawrence-Bullard as an “ethnic, spicy and romantic” residence, as was featured in the July 2010 issue of Architectural Digest.

What does the Cher’s hefty price tag include?

Aside from access to an outdoor terrace, 24-hour concierge service, gym, pool and sundeck, the 66-year-old’s swanky abode is just steps away from the homes of Courteney Cox, Joan Collins and PJ Harvey. Previous residents of Sierra Towers include Matthew Perry, music mogul David Geffen and Elton John and his husband David Furnish.

Petitioners urging Macy’s to dump Donald Trump have reached their 500,000-signature goal, but the multi-millionaire’s camp isn’t taking the move lying down.

“What I find incredulous is that the creator of the petition is protecting his First Amendment right to free speech while simultaneously trying to impede upon Mr. Trump’s,” Michael Cohen, executive vice president and special counsel to Trump, told Celebuzz. “It’s ironic.”

“I question the legitimacy and accuracy of the website and the number of signatures claimed to have joined this petition,” he added. “Regardless, The Trump Organization values its longstanding relationship with Macy’s and looks forward to many more years of continued success.”

Almost 503,000 people have signed the online petition, asking the department store to cut all ties with the mogul and citing his “unpleasant, nasty and despicable behavior.”

The basis of the petition, organized by Angelo Carusone, points to claims about Trump’s “sexist behavior” and his “long record of personally attacking women he disagrees by calling them ‘unattractive,’ ugly or fat.”

It goes on to state Trump “perpetuated the racially charged birther conspiracy, repeatedly arguing that President Obama has been lying and was not born in the United States.”

The petition has even received support from the likes of Cher. The Oscar winner  spoke up via Twitter, criticizing Trump as a “loudmouth” and “racist cretin.” “I’ll NEVER GO TO MACY’S AGAIN! I didn’t know they sold Donald Trump’s Line!” she tweeted.

Right now, any legal action on Trump’s part regarding the petition remains to be seen.

“Mr. Trump will take [any future legal action] under advisement if it’s necessary,” said Cohen. “I don’t think everything has to turn to litigation.”

“She’s such a nightmare. Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster…and she looks like a f***cking fairground stripper.”

The pop star has never held back when he chatting with the media, oftentimes spewing controversial comments about the Queen of Pop. And he did it again this week.

“She’s such a nightmare,” John fumed to longtime friend Molly Meldrum in an interview. “Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster.”

“If Madonna had any common sense,” he continued, “she would have made a record like Ray of Light, stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to prove that she was like …,” he said, not specifying. “And she looks like a f***king fairground stripper.”

Aretha Franklin threw her hat into the American Idol ring this week – albeit unofficially – when a friend said she’s ready to replace departing judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

“She would love that gig,” the pal told the NY Daily News. “It pays millions of dollars, and she could stay put [in one place] for a few months.”

But she wouldn’t stay put at all. Franklin would be expected to travel from state to state for Idol auditions, and therein lies the problem: the Queen of Soul has an infamous fear of flying that could prevent her from traveling quickly.

Franklin isn’t the only celebrity who’s afraid of the friendly skies: Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Megan Fox and a slew of others all abhor airplanes. To see which stars suffer from aviophobia, view our gallery, above.

Interestingly, Franklin wasn’t always afraid to fly: her phobia developed in February 1984, when she canceled two shows in Kansas City and then rescheduled her entire tour because she suddenly couldn’t board a plane.

“Every now and then, this happens — someone who travels thousands of miles every year suddenly can’t face getting on an airplane,” her tour director, John Sdoucos, said at the time. “I’ve talked to her doctor, her psychiatrist, and I know it’s genuine.”

That fear has come at a price. In an interview with Glamour magazine, Franklin once revealed: “I turned down two singing opportunities in my career because of a fear of flying: one for the Queen of England and one at the pyramids.”

Unlike Franklin, some stars have specific reasons they dislike air travel: Aniston, for one, was once caught in an electric storm mid-air — and quickly decided she’d never be “Friends” with the not-so-friendly skies. Cher, meanwhile, got spooked when the plane she was riding developed engine trouble and had to make an emergency landing.

The 66-year-old “I Got You Babe” singer recently tweeted out a photo of herself posing with her 86-year-old mother, Georgia Holt, en route to meet President Barack Obama. Dressed in monochromatic outfits, the mother-daughter duo appears to share the same uncanny youthful appearance.

In fact, even the President himself could not believe his eyes when he met ladies.

“Told him mom’s 86,” Cher recalled the meeting in a tweet. “He said ‘Georgia, tell me what u eat’ & smiled!”

“Mom was all ‘OMG!’” the Oscar winner added.

Apparently, Cher still knows how to make a dramatic entrance.

The legendary 65-year-old singer-actress stole the show at the GLAAD Media Awards 2012 on Saturday, where she donned — among other things — a giant black afro wig.

Cher, whose appearance was a surprise, attended the event to present her transgendered son, Chaz Bono, 43, with two awards — the Outstanding Documentary prize and the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, for helping to eliminate homophobia in society.

After a rocky past, the mother-son duo have mended fences — specifically Cher, who very publicly supported Chaz during his controversial run on Dancing With the Stars last season.

Meanwhile, The Hunger Games cutie Josh Hutcherson was awarded a prize that Cher won in the past — the Vanguard Award — which is presented to a member in the entertainment community for promoting equal rights for LGBT people.

Cher is one awesome mother. The superstar took to her Twitter on Wednesday to defend her son Chaz Bono‘s decision to do Dancing With the Stars. God we love this woman!

“lovelies! Chaz is Being Viciously Attacked on Blogs & Message boards about being on DWTS!This is Still America right ? It took guts 2 do it,” tweeted Cher, and she didn’t stop there:

“I support him no matter what he chooses 2do! God! will there always be haters! It took COURAGE 2 do dwts ! TG Chaz has an Unlimited supply. Can u guys check out sites & give him your support ? BTW …Mothers don’t stop Getting angry with stupid bigots who fk with their children !”

Chaz is the first transgendered contestant on Dancing With the Stars.

“I want people to know that transgender people are just like everyone else,” Bono told Us Weekly. “We’re not people to be afraid of or misunderstood.”

The MTV Video Music Awards are coming tonight, Aug. 28, and we are expecting this year’s event to once again to be talked about for days, months, and years after the ceremony!

In this powerful new military PSA Eliza Dushku, Cher, Terrell Owens and many others have all come together to lend their voices for a cause!

Together, these celebs are joining forces with The Creative Coalition and Blue Star Families to let military men and women know that they are not alone through a toll-free help line.

Although we all may feel hopeless at times they want to reassure that there is help. The CEO of The Creative Coalition Robin Bronk stated:

“We are grateful to the Military Channel for providing a platform to allow America’s artists to help bring a lifesaving message to our service men and women, and their families.”

With the increase issue of suicide among military men and woman, along with their families the organization is promoting a toll-free suicide prevention help line. The PSA will be launching this month and will air on the Military Channel.

When you think of outlandish, body-baring stage costumes, there are no two performers who bridge the generation gap — Cher and Lady Gaga. Now the two are teaming up in song! 

Cher excitedly tweeted about the collaboration, posting: “Just walked in from studio! I finished 1st track on new cd &…GAGA  YOU ARE THE GREATEST THING TO ME”

Speculation started immediately that the two were doing a duet.

Never once to mince words, Cher corrected the misunderstanding, tweeting: “Nowhere have I said that GaGa & I r Doing a duet! Would I love it ? Of Course!!! If I hear something you’ll b the 1st to know!”

She later added: “I would love duet with GaGa, but She Gave Me GREAT Song & I’m beyond Grateful!!!! It’s called ‘The Greatest Thing’”

As Christina Aguilera‘s somewhat flubbed rendition of the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl proved, even a top-notch talent such as herself is capable of moments of imperfection. And now we have further, reassuring proof of C-Ags’ fallibility, with the blooper reel from her song-and-dance extravaganza Burlesque.

Continuing this long week of bikini-clad celebrities, Kathy Griffin and her pal Cher decided to partake in the fun with a beach day in Hawaii.

The 50-year-old Griffin donned a black bikini while Cher, looking fabulous at 64 years of age, opted for a full wetsuit. The two paddleboarded in the Pacific, and Kathy threw up a victory pose as they came back ashore.

Overwhelmed with the wealth of movies opening on Thanksgiving Day? Don’t worry movie fans, Celebuzz has created a special Turkey Day guide to help guide you during the intense holiday movie season.

First up, Love and Other Drugs, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway.

The film is based on the non-fiction book, Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman by Jamie Reidy and stars Jake as Jamie, a charismatic traveling pharmaceutical salesman. Jamie’s life is turned upside down when he meets Anne’s character Maggie, who is battling Parkinson’s disease. The two turn a one-night-stand into a romantic love affair.

Until now, Anne Hathaway has been a good actress, a smart actress, an actress with potential and an actress with a future. With “Love and Other Drugs,” her future begins. She is remarkable and moving as a 26-year-old in the very early stages of Parkinson’s disease, who has decided to take control of her emotional life by allowing herself to become close to nobody. In that way, shallow Jamie is the ideal consort – amusing and good for sex and not much good for anything else.

Love and Other Drugs opens on Wednesday, November 24.

Next up, Burlesque, Christina Aguilera‘s much-talked-about acting debut. The films stars Christina as Ali, a small-town girl with big dreams who travels to Los Angeles to launch her career. Ali gets a job as a cocktail waitress at a burlesque club where Cher‘s diva character Tess reigns supreme. Ali struggled with Tess to get her chance in the spotlight and eventually becomes the star of the show.

Time magazine‘s Mary Pols says that the fun, music-filled film is good, campy fun:

The movie is frivolous fun, but not, as I had sort of hoped, as sinfully awful as Showgirls, Mariah Carey‘s Glitter or Britney Spears‘ Crossroads [...] While it took my eyes an hour or so to recover from the chronic soft focus required to make the naturally vampy Aguilera look like an angelic Breck girl, Burlesque doesn’t have the kind of stunning bad taste that calls for the immediate invention of a drinking game built around it.

Burlesque hits theaters on Wednesday, November 24.

Tangled, Disney’s badass princess film featuring the voices of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi promises to bring some punch to the Disney princess franchise. The movie follows Rapunzel (Moore) as she tries to escape an isolated tower where she has been locked up in by an evil witch.

Disney’s Tangled is about life’s journeys, not its destinations — and that makes all the difference. A Rapunzel retelling could have become just a retread of the studio’s past princess tales, but this genuinely charming, chintz-free story does something new: It takes the time to chill out, as its heroine might say.

Tangled leaves its tower and opens in movie theaters on Wednesday, November 24.
