Christopher Meloni, known to millions of TV fans for playing Det. Elliot Stabler on Law and Order: SVU (and to millions of gays for playing Chris Keller on Oz), will return to television screens in the fall in a new single-camera comedy for FOX.

The show is called Surviving Jack, and chronicles the story of a boy becoming a man (we can assume that’s not the role Meloni is playing) and a man becoming a father (ah, there we go) in the 1990s. It’s based off a book called I Suck at Girls by Justin Halperin, the man behind the popular Twitter feed “S*** My Dad Says” and its forgettable CBS sitcom.

The news was part of a five-comedy pickup from the network. Also getting the go-ahead: Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a new cop comedy starring Andy Samberg; Us and Them, an Americanized version of BBC’s Gavin & Stacey starring Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel; and the ominous-sounding Dads, from executive producer Seth MacFarlane.

After listing his 8,063 square foot Connecticut mansion, Christopher Meloni and wife Sherman Williams-Meloni have hit the Hills!

Downsizing to a 6,000 square foot Beverly Hills home, the former Law & Order: SVU actor is shelling out around $20,000 a month for this luxurious Spanish style abode, according to The Real Estalker.

The 1929 Spanish villa, designed by Ralph Flewelling and owned by Tony-winning actor, dancer and theater director Grover Dale, boasts four bedrooms and six bathrooms, an elegant crystal chandelier, a spacious living room and comes equipped with detailed and delicate decorations that adorn the grandiose home.

While this might be a temporary space, hues of soft yellow, rust and warm orange Spanish tiles create a very homey feel throughout the residence. Unlike any other mansion, the courtyard stuns as it offers views of a lush landscape with fountains, a sitting area, a spacious swimming pool and spa.

Christopher Meloni is moving out even before the paint in his mansion has dried.

Inly eight months after purchasing the place, the former Law & Order: SVU star has listed his 8,063 square foot abode located in New Canaan, Conn., for a whopping $4.75 million.

According to the listing, the 1987 estate has recently “undergone a complete interior transformation” and now boasts five bedrooms, three bathrooms and three powder rooms.

Decorated white trim and stylish grey walls, the mega-home is everything a busy actor needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Like all respectable celebrity pads, Meloni’s place also features a swimming pool, marble floors throughout the home, butler’s pantry, walk-in pantry and a grand wood-pandled library furnished with a fully-stocked wet bar and pool table (we’re totally guessing this doubles as the man cave).

1.) Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson ‘Wanted to Be Animals’ During Breaking Dawn – Part II Sex Scene
If you thought the sex scene in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I was intense, get ready for Part II (in theaters Nov. 16). During the panel for the much-anticipated final chapter of the series, star Kristen Stewart quipped that she and real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson “wanted to be animals” when filming the steamy scene. “For the second one, we just wanted to be animals. We’re not humans anymore,” she said. “Yeah, how do you do that? We tried. They told us it was rated R, and so, yeah. I’m gonna stop [talking] now.”

2.) Glee Stars Reveal New Seniors Will ‘Step Up’ in Season 4
Darren Criss and Kevin McHale provided some insight as to what Glee season 4 will look like with its new batch of seniors. As Criss explained: “There will always have to be 12 members of the glee club in order for it to be a glee club. So there will be new characters, presumably, I’d imagine we will be getting kids from whoever is in The Glee Project … that would be a new character. It’s definitely exciting; it’s a totally new show now.”

Added McHale: “We think the seniors this year are going to step up, obviously, but they have to come into their own. 3.) Man of Steel Teaser-Poster Revealed; Teaser-Trailer to Play Before The Dark Knight Rises
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! Nope, it’s just the brand-new teaser poster for Man of Steel that debuted at the panel for the film over the weekend. Also revealed was news that a teaser-trailer for the movie, which stars hunky actor Henry Cavill in the title role, will play before The Dark Knight Rises, beginning Friday. 4.) Iron Man 3 Director Shane Black: Film Is “Beginning of the Next Phase”
Shane Black, who will take the reins from Jon Favreau in 2013 to direct Iron Man 3, says the third film in the uber-popular franchise is “the beginning of the next phase.”

“It will set the tone in a lot of ways,” he said. “Certainly, Tony’s journey could spin forward but it’s as self contained a story since Iron Man 1. … There is an idea about being big, but I think it’s about capturing and redoubling the intensity that The Avengers managed to capture — that kind of lightning in a bottle feel of really stuffing so much into a limited space. We’re trying to get as much into this as we can,” he added.

Black teamed with Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. on the critically acclaimed 2005 flick Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.

5.) Christopher Meloni ‘Willing to Consider’ Return to ‘SVU’
Though he left Law and Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011, Christopher Meloni hasn’t closed the door on the Emmy-winning series quite yet. In fact, as he revealed at the panel for True Blood, on which he co-stars as vampire Roman, Meloni says he’s “willing to consider” a return to SVU at some point. “I’m always willing to consider it,” he said. “I had 12 great years on that show and I loved playing that character. 6.) Total Recall Battle Between Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale ‘Not A Girly Fight’
Hollywood hotties Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale will duke it out in the August remake of Total Recall. But fans hoping to see an old-fashioned catfight may want to look for another movie. “It’s not a girly fight. It’s a proper fight,” Beckinsale told Celebuzz over the weekend. “Nobody’s top suddenly comes off. We don’t get into a bath full of jelly.” Maybe in the sequel, perhaps? Biel also revealed her workout tips for the film, which you can check out in the video, below.

7.) Michelle Williams Still Wants a Dawson’s Creek Reunion
During a panel talk for her new movie, Oz: The Great and Powerful, Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams expressed a desire to return to her TV roots to film a reunion for Dawson’s Creek, the show that made her a mega-star in the late-’90s. “I would very happily do a reunion show,” she said. “I don’t know what it would be; my character died in the end. There are some limitations for me. I don’t know if I’d come back as a ghost … I would love to [do it]. I think independently we’ve all kind of been saying that. I hope at some point it does happen.”

8.) Teen Wolf Renewed for Third Season
Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey made a big — not to mention very, very exciting — announcement at the top of the show’s panel on Friday: The uber-popular MTV show has been renewed for a third season, and will return with a whopping 24 episodes, instead of the normal 12.

9.) Next Season of The Vampire Diaries Will Begin With Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) New Life As A Vampire
As writer Julie Plec explained: “Elena’s going through a new change, of course. And Damon and Stefan are going to have deal with that change with her and for her. But, all of the characters, too, as they gear up for senior year and graduation. 10.) Jeffrey Pierce Joins Nikita As Season 3′s “Big Bad”
Nikita showrunner Craig Silverstein revealed at the show’s panel that Jeffrey Pierce, who most recently starred on Alcatrez, will be joining Nikita as season 3′s first bad guy. Also revealed during the panel: Season 3 begins with a time jump of about a month; and Devon Sawa and Noah Bean have been promoted to series regulars. More details here.

Fans are only just getting to know Christopher Meloni as the new vampire BMOC, Roman, on HBO’s True Blood. But, clearly his fan base misses him on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU.

During Saturday’s panel for HBO’s supernatural series at San Diego Comic-Con, an audience member asked the 51-year-old actor if he’d return for SVU’s finale. How did he respond?

“I’m always willing to consider it,” Meloni says. “I had 12 great years on that show and I loved playing that character. There is no bad blood there. It’s still doing OK, I guess.”

It may not be the most exciting response to the idea, but fans can at least take comfort in the fact that the door is still open and Detective Stabler may walk through it.

SVU fans said goodbye to Meloni in 2011. The show goes on with its 14th season this fall on NBC.

A decade has passed since Wet Hot American Summer corrupted the minds of teenage camp-goers everywhere, filling their heads with hedonistic images of love triangles and make-out sessions behind the mess hall. Hidden among the staff of Camp Firewood were many future stars, including the likes of Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Amy Poehler and Bradley Cooper.

Writer-director David Wain has recently said that plans for a prequel to the cult hit are in the works, and with the original cast no less. So how exactly do they plan to have the now late 30-something and 40-year-old actors and actresses play teenagers? It’s something Wain says they’re still in the early stages of thinking over.
