Another year, another movie awards show.  The golden (popcorn) statues have all been passed out, America now knows about Tom Hiddleston, and Zac Efron never took off shirt once.  Not once.

Join us now as we count down the best (and worst) moments from the 2013 MTV Movie Awards:

Worst: Rebel Wilson‘s Double Nip-Slip. I really wish that didn’t happen.  Rebel, you’re my girl and I laughed quite loudly during your scenes in Pitch Perfect, but some things are better left never, ever seeing the light of day.

Best: Taylor Lautner‘s Shirtless Acceptance Speech. Young Taylor took to the stage wearing the most obvious of fat suits (come on MTV.  You’re at Sony Studios.  There wasn’t anything better lying around?).  Despite that, Lautner was a great sport, pulling all sorts of fat-kid candy out of his pockets in search of his acceptance speech.  Once he found it, he waxed on about being 21 and how those calories can catch up with you.

Worst: Seth Rogan and Danny McBride Go Pantless. Ugh, gross.  I did not need to see this skit, which made Rebel’s DNS look like a flash of cleavage.  What is it with you guys and “down there?”  Their one saving grace would have been shirtless Zac Efron, which didn’t happen.  Boo, you whores.

Best: Selena Gomez Performs “Come And Get It.” Gomez has firmly established herself as queen of MTV’s current generation, just like Britney Spears did before her.  She walked the red carpet looking like a million bucks, then promptly killed it on stage.

Adam Levine did what he does best during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live: take his shirt off.

The first-time host quickly found himself on the other side of a mock setup of The Voice, along with judges Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld.

“Like all successful singers, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I would overreach and try acting. Also, I’ve been a coach on The Voice for the last two years. So tonight I just hope that you won’t judge me too harshly,” said Levine, in a slick suit.

“Fat chance Levine,” Samberg fired back, in his bathrobe best.

Diaz then voiced her reasons for why she’s the best choice for a comedy coach.

“I’ve hosted before. So trust me. The first thing you should do as host . . . is take off your shirt. Just take it off,” she said.

While the shirtless display was one of the highlights of the night, perhaps the biggest screams and cheers went to the return of SNL’s first digital short since Samberg’s departure last season.

Levine, along with Samberg’s Lonely Island BFFs Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, celebrate all things “YOLO” in a wonderfully orchestrated three minutes. (Musical guest Kendrick Lamar also drops a couple verses).

SNL also hosted a battleground for Levine’s band Maroon 5 and Train.

“Alright Train, fan out. Make yourselves at home,” Taran Killam says as Pat Monahan.

“Oh, hello Train. What do you think you’re doing here?” Levine asks.

“Uh, I think it’s a free country, soul sister,” Killam says.

Jason Mraz (played by Jason Sudeikis) and John Mayer (Bill Hader) later join in on the fun.

Catfish also made its way to the SNL lineup, with Levine posing as the MTV series’ host Nev Schulman. (Video below).

Justin Bieber will serve as host and musical guest on the Feb. 9 episode.

It’s easy to forget at times that in addition to writing books, hosting his own solo art exhibits and earning multiple master’s degrees simultaneously, James Franco still makes movies.

The trailer for his upcoming flick, Your Highness, looks like a stoned version of The Princess Bride. In this Medieval comedy, Franco teams up with funnyman Danny McBride, as brother Thadeus who lacks both tack and courage, to go on an unholy quest to save a hapless maiden from an evil wizard with a penchent for profanity. Zooey Deschanel co-stars as the damsel in distress, and Natalie Portman appears as a lethal, bow-and-arrow wielding (and thong-sporting) vixen.

The movie is directed by David Gordon Green, who worked with Franco on the drug-themed Pineapple Express. Your Highness hits theaters on April 8, 2011.

Are you ready for James Franco to go medieval on your butt? A batch of stills from Franco’s upcoming fantasy film, Your Highness, have descended on the Web, and the ubiquitous actor is definitely working a different look than we’ve seen him flaunting lately.

In the film, which hits theaters on April 8, 2011, Franco plays Fabious, the brother of arrogant, lazy prince Thadeous (Danny McBride). As Fabious engages on an epic quest to save his father’s kingdom, Thadeous sets his romantic sights on warrior princess Isabel (played by Natalie Portman). Zooey Deschanel, meanwhile, plays Fabious’ virginal bride, Belladonna.
