Blaine announced to partygoers at a rooftop cancer benefit that his model-fiancee Alizee Guinochet is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

And the baby bump was not hidden up his sleeve, but rather under Alizee’s layered dress.

Blaine gained fame with a variety of TV specials that feature his unique brand of street magic, but he is perhaps best known for his high-profile public feats of endurance, like being frozen alive for 63 hours in the middle of Times Square.

hung upside down for 60 hours as part of a stunt called “Dive . Then fell. Where is the magic and the wonder?

E! reports that David Blaine, supposedly hanging 50 ft. in the air for 60 hours above Central Park’s ice rink, survived a 40 ft. jump yesterday for his ABC television special. A vascular surgeon on the scene said that he could have possibly suffered “breathing trouble, blindness, a stroke and a host of other organ difficulties” from hanging inverted for so long.

EW.com reports that Ghost Town and Extras star Ricky Gervais is allegedly in the running to host next year’s Oscars ceremony. Gervais earned buzz for his appearance on the Sept 21 Emmys, where he jokingly scolded Steve Carrell for stealing his award.

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler is suing some bloggers for impersonating him and his girlfriend on the Internet, according to TMZ. In the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles superior court, Tyler claims that bloggers posted “pictures … intimate details about [his] private life, including [Tyler's] relationship with his girlfriend, his children and his mother.”

Us reports that former Hootie and the Blowfish lead singer Darius Rucker‘s country debut, Learn To Live, has knocked Jessica Simpson out of the top spot on the Billboard country chart. It sold 60,414 units during its first week of release.

Splash reports that, while photographing Blaine, they noted the artist taking breaks that lasted up to 20 minutes at a time and earning disappointment from the assembled onlookers.

Even the security guards hired to oversee the event reportedly aren’t finding Blaine to be very magical.

Blaine would appear to be taking it easy, at least until the ABC special covering his latest silly stunt airs tonight. Then maybe he’ll get back to getting upside down again.

The dingleberry of magic kicked off this dead man’s hang with Kelly Ripa this morning on Good Morning America, where Blaine was hoisted and hooked up with a catheter to expel his urine. Good morning!

According to ABC News, Blaine views his Dive of Death as a test of endurance. Okay, but where’s the promised death? Blaine’s doc, Dr. Ronald Ruden, told ABCnews.com, “If you fall, there’s nobody there to catch you…You become street pizza.” If David wants to flirt with being street pizza, why doesn’t he just step in front of Britney Spears‘s oncoming car?

Ruden went on to say that some people think Blaine’s tricks (being buried alive, being buried in ice, etc.) are a “death wish.”

Was that what sleeping with Madonna was about?

The illusionist hung out with the loudmouthed entrepreneur at the Atrium at Trump Tower today, as Blaine announced his latest endurance feat to the world.

The feat, which airs on September 24 during David Blaine: Dive of Death, will feature Blaine “magically” walking on the underside of a wire five  stories above the ground for three straight days and nights.

Not bad, Blaine, but you’ve certainly tackled more dangerous missions before.

Maybe when you’re done, you can school the Donald on various ways to improve his endurance. He’s going to need it to tolerate his upcoming collaboration with Joe Francis.

Maybe they should take a look at what the Material Matron looks for in a mate.

If the past means anything, she’ll be indulging her inner groupie. (Which means A-Rod just might actually have a shot.)
