Lady GaGa recently debuted her alter ego, a more greasier fellow by the name of Jo Calderone at MTV’s Video Music Awards, and rap Goddess Nicki Minaj also shared recently, that we should expect to hear a lot more from her already popular male alter ego Roman, for her next album.

Noting that alter egos isn’t a new trend, Celebuzz has compiled a gallery of all of our favorites throughout the years including some recent personalities that surfaced. Which celebrity alter ego is your favorite? Sound off in the comments!

The publication noted, “To create our list…we polled more than 100 actors, comedians, musicians, writers, critics, performance artists, label reps, and DJs, asking each to list the 10 albums that left the most indelible impressions on their lives.”

So keep in mind that the albums chosen were submitted by noted gay personalities and industry professionals, but not all the artists on the list are actually gay.
