David was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok one year ago today. He died from auto-erotic asphyxiation. He was in Bangkok to film some scenes for the movie Stretch.

David’s wife, Annie Carradine, alleges that the production company for Stretch didn’t take proper care of the star and left him alone for the night after he didn’t return an assistant’s call in time to have dinner with the film’s director.

When the Kill Bill star finally reached the assistant, he was told they were already having dinner that that David “would have to make his own arrangements that evening.” Unfortunately, we now know what those arrangements were.

Autoerotic asphyxiation?

The official statement from David’s camp reads, “We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock.” 

Legendary actor David Carradine has died at the age of 72.

The Kung Fu and Kill Bill actor was found in his Park Nai Lert Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this morning. Although his rep is claiming the actor died of natural causes, a report coming out of Thailand tells a much different story.

The BBC says that Thai police are reporting that a hotel maid found David sitting in the closet with a cord around his neck and other parts of his body in what looks to be a suicide. 

His personal manager Chuck Binder reveals that he was in Thailand filming a new movie called Stretch, and calls the tragic news ”shocking”, adding “He was full of life, always wanting to work… a great person.”

In the issue of fairness, the men should be able to get a warning too. Males may be bigger and stronger, but that little white stick doesn’t discriminate!
