Now that Kat Von D’s got a new equally-inked man in her life and her whole future as Mrs. Deadmau5 to plan, it’s officially out with the old.

And that means letting go of her single lady days, including her bachelorette pad.

Although her former taste in men may be questionable (ahem, Jesse James), her palette for unique architecture is not. After buying the home two years ago for $2.175 million, the L.A. Ink star, who’s tatted up some of the most famous names in Hollywood, is selling it for a cool $2.5 million, according to Trulia.

And just like Von D’s signature darker edge, her house emulates her artful eye.

The 1920′s Spanish-style abode is full of rich darks hues for a rock ‘n romantic feel throughout the four bedrooms, with high ceilings, dramatic artwork, deep reds and purples, pillar candles, and a dining room outfitted with Medieval chairs fit for any rocker king (or queen, of course).

We didn’t really expect Kat Von D to sport a traditional ring after her engagement to Deadmau5 — but there’s a reason she ended up with such an off-beat sparkler.

“She didn’t have a choice,” Deadmau5 told Celebuzz at the Art of Elysium “Heaven” Gala on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles. “That was all me.”

But the 32-year-old — aka Joel Zimmerman — certainly headed to the right place to ensure Von D’s delight: “It’s her favorite company that makes the ring,” he said.

And what a ring it is. “It has skulls in it,” Von D., 30, said.

“Black stuff,” Deadmau5 added.

“We wouldn’t want something boring that everybody else has,” Von D. explained. And same goes for her wedding dress. Though she said it was too early to announce her color of choice, she did make one thing clear: “There’s nothing conventional about me or anything I do.”

The couple got engaged via Twitter on Dec. 15.; Deadmau5 said they’re hoping to tie the knot in 2013.

After getting proposed to by her DJ boyfriend, this former TLC reality star took to her Instagram to show off her unconventional black diamond engagement ring.

“The biggest thank you to@thegreatfrogLDN for handcrafting the most important ring I will ever wear,” she wrote alongside a series of snapshots of her new bling.

The 30-year-old tattoo artist recently got engaged to electro-house music producer Deadmau5 after he proposed on Twitter Dec. 15.

“I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” the Canadian hitmaker, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, wrote on Twitter.

After a tweet of exclamation marks, Von D, 30, thanked her fans for their “lovely congratulations.”

“Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiancé!” she added.

Her engagement to her 31-year-old boyfriend comes some five weeks after the couple announced their split, also on Twitter. The pair, who cited that things “happened too fast,” got back together shortly after.

According to Von D’s latest series of tweets, wedding preparations have already begun as she’s asked friend and fashion designer Jeffree Star to be the flower girl at her upcoming nuptials.

“You will be the most amazing, glitter-doused flower girl imaginable,” Von D wrote in a screenshot of their conversation.

Kelly Clarkson isn’t the only celebrity who got engaged this weekend.

Kat Von D is also a bride-to-be, after accepting an online proposal from her Canadian beau DJ Deadmau5.

Zimmerman also included a photo of the engagement ring, which had a caption explaining what the final project will look like:

“Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI . . . .theyll finish the actual ring soon i hope.”

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez aren’t the only ones making break up headlines this week.

After only a few months of dating, LA Ink star Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 have called it quits. The couple confirmed their split through a series of tweets on Saturday.

“Man.. Can’t say I didn’t give it my best,” Von D, 30, wrote, later adding, “Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off.”

And if that wasn’t enough, the tattoo artist had these words for her fans: “Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together.”

DJ Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman echoed his ex’s words a few hours later on Twitter, writing “it happened too fast, i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with. she deserves someone stronger.”

The 31-year-old Canadian DJ began dating Von D after meeting each other at a party earlier this fall, Us Weeklyreported at the time.

Von D’s previous relationships have included Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband Jesse James.

This year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival came to a close on Saturday night, with grand performances from Taylor Swift, Aerosmith and EDM master Deadmau5.

Swift, 22, rocked out with the MGM Grand crowd in Las Vegas, performing her new single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” The singer also had a quick outfit change during her set (both were sparkly numbers).

Pink, who made a guest appearance the day before onstage with No Doubt, delivered her own set on Saturday, singing songs from her new album The Truth About Love.

Which non-musical guests also showed up to the second day of the iHeartRadio Music Festival?

Day two of iHeartRadio brought out a slew of famous music fans, including Shane West, Kat Von D., Maria Menounos and Mamie Gummer.

The day before, Korean sensation Psy kicked around with Usher before performing onstage. Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Ryan Lochte were also on hand for the event.
