Despite an avalanche of unfair criticism, Michelle Williams claims she had a fabulous time at her Super Bowl XLVII performance with Destiny’s Child.

“Oh, the Super Bowl was beautiful,” Williams told Billboard of Destiny’s Child’s much-anticipated reunion.

“When three good girlfriends are together, you’re free and you don’t care who’s around; you’re just trying to catch up and be goofy. I had a blast.”

Though some naysayers didn’t share her opinion. Gawker claimed that there was “fear in Michelle’s eyes,” during Sunday’s performance, and Buzzfeed created a whole post around a website titled “Poor Michelle” — a compilation of all the times William’s has supposedly gotten the “Short end of the Destiny’s Child stick.”

Even singer singer Keyshia Cole slammed Williams on Sunday, nastily tweeting, “Then Michell sung and woke my a** up from my daze! She always fu**N the groove up.”

But Williams, who is currently touring with Fela! begs to differ when it comes to her Super Bowl showing.

“People at home watching… they don’t catch the moments where, like in the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ pose, I was smiling. We were all smiling,” the singer explained. “I was laughing with my girls. I don’t care what anybody else says. I don’t let it get me down.”

She even goes so far as to say, she would be game for getting together again. Which begs the question, will they reunite in the near future? To which, Williams was appropriately vague, but didn’t totally shoot down the possibility.

“Who knows,” she says. “It’s a possibility. I think this was a good moment, and it felt good for all of us and you definitely want those moments again.”

And we agree, we’d be down for another performance by the Bootylicious Beyonce and her babes — and we’ll bet Williams will be flashing a big ol’ smile in the future.

Although the Baltimore Ravens were the real winners of Super Bowl Sunday, one could easily argue that Beyonce Knowles stole the entire show with her epic, electrifying, so-good-it-blacked-out-the-Superdome Halftime performance.

Joining Beyonce for the festivities were her former Destiny’s Child groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, who later posed for this kissy-face photo that appeared on Beyonce’s Instagram Tuesday.

The admittedly hilarious photo is awesome for two reasons: one, it shows the girls have remained friends long after they parted ways in 2006; and two, any excuse to see Destiny’s Child reunite is good in our books.

Millions of fans cheered on Beyonce Knowles as she and Destiny’s Child rocked the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday.

But perhaps no one was more proud of Queen Bey than her former groupmate, LaTavia Roberson.

“Obviously, seeing Beyonce perform was the highlight for me,” Roberson, who departed Destiny’s Child in 2000, told Celebuzz Monday in an exclusive interview. “I got a real surprise when both Kelly [Rowland] and Michelle [Williams] both popped-up on the stage like that.”

Roberson says she was at a housewarming party in Atlanta when she saw the show.

“I thought they all looked great and did a good job with their dance moves,” she said. “Beyonce was especially amazing. She looked fabulous and her voice was really strong. During the performance somebody texted me to say they could not hear Kelly and Michelle sing. It was so noisy in the house where we watched the performance that I did not really notice anything wrong. But who knows? They probably had some technical problems.”

Roberson and the group’s other original member, LeToya Luckett, were replaced by Williams and Farrah Franklin in 2000, before the group became three shortly after.

Despite the exit, Roberson says she holds no ill-wills today even though, in 2002, she and another Destiny’s Child member, LeToya Luckett, filed a federal lawsuit against the group, contending the hit song “Survivor” made derisive comments about them.

“It was great to see them all performing together and I have no bitter or bad feelings toward any of those women. I wish them all the best,” she said. “I am at a good place in my life and things always work out for a reason. I am working on several projects with both acting and music that are exciting to me.”

In fact, she says she still keeps in touch with members of the group.

“I actually saw Kelly at a mutual friend’s graduation in Atlanta last summer and we had fun catching up on old times – I am pleased that Destiny’s Child got back together for the Super Bowl – the fans seemed to really enjoy it too!”

The Super Bowl half time show has become a sacred tradition.

As one of the most elite competitions in sports, every component — from the multi million dollar commercials to the astronomically high-paid performers — must live up to the year-long hype.

So naturally this year’s entertainment is the one and only Sasha Fierce.

Beyonce is a safe choice for the show. That is not to say that she is boring, or simple, but that she never fails to entertain—when she’s singing live.

The stunning diva has a powerful voice to project her hit songs, stellar dance moves to mesmerize audiences, an innate stage presence to engage the crowd, and a wardrobe of scantily clad, unbelievably glamorous unitards to show off her rockin’ post-baby body.

No doubt she is a one-woman show.

Though fully capable of putting on a Super Bowl worthy performance all on her own, rumors are swirling that she won’t be alone on stage Sunday.

Could it be a game-day reunion for Destiny’s Child is in play?

While the other members firmly deny the rumors, a leaked set list including the group’s chart-topper “Bills, Bills, Bills” suggests otherwise.

We can only hope.

All of this thinking got us a little nostalgic about Bey’s early days.

Back in 1997, the pop diva stood beside a group of three other ladies singing catchy, female-empowering songs about “good for nothing type of brothers”. Destiny’s Child gained a significant following and climbed the Billboard Charts into 2001, when the group decided to disband and start solo careers.

B has since gotten a new look, a rap star hubby, and a beautiful new baby Blue Ivy, but her award-winning voice and legendary performance skills have remained the same.

This week’s Flashback Friday pays homage to 2013’s half-time queen with an early Destiny’s Child music video that received major airtime back in the TRL era.

This video reminds us Bey has some serious staying power, having outlived pagers, AOL and most-certainly, the term Bug-a-Boo.

Come Super Bowl Sunday, Destiny’s Child will gets fans to “Jumpin’, Jumpin’” all over again.

While Beyoncé will open the much-anticipated halftime show solo, rumor has it that the multi-Grammy winner will be joined by former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a Destiny’s Child reunion on stage in New Orleans, La.

Though Williams wouldn’t confirm teaming up with the DC3 for the football finals, word on the street suggests Queen B has planned out a three-song set for the former chart-topping trio, including “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Survivor” and spanking-new track “Nuclear.”

So as the countdown to touchdown continues — and as Destiny’s Child fans hold out hope for the gossip to prove true — Celebuzz is blasting back to the past. From the band’s quartet beginnings to their 2000 reinvention as a trio, relive the girl group’s best music videos.

“Survivor”
Somewhere in the South Pacific, Destiny’s Child washes up on a shore, wearing nothing but brightly-colored, curve-bearing rags. While little goes down in the video on a deserted island, no fan can ever forget the image of a soaking-wet Beyoncé seductively crawling on the sand, crooning to the camera how she’s a “Survivor.” Well, any girl that can transform some scraps of animal skins in a sexy getup is sure “gonna make it.”

“Say My Name”
Just after former bandmates LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson were unceremoniously dropped from Destiny’s Child, this video debuted, featuring newly-minted members Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams. But despite the band drama, the clip made a splash, showcasing the ladies striking poses in color-coded sets.

“Bills, Bills, Bills”
In this clip, as Destiny’s Child bemoans all the “good-for-nothin’ type of brotha,” the singers find strength in numbers among the other fed-up women getting glam in a beauty salon. Fun fact: the locale was chosen in tribute to Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother.

“Bootylicious”
Are you ready for this jelly? ‘Cause Destiny’s Child thinks not. In the opening sequence, the bling-out trio strike poses, as they ask, “Can you handle this?” After an appearance from a guitar-strumming Stevie Nicks, the girl group breaks it down — wearing, what else, but bright, body-hugging hues — in dance routines that pay homage to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Though the singers were already lusted after, this sex-soaked video fully established Destiny’s Child as, well, bootlycious.

All hail the Queen.

With just over one week to go before her Super Bowl halftime performance, Beyonce Knowles granted fans a preview of her highly anticipated show.

From group rehearsal photos to snapshots of Bey rocking a Brooklyn Nets tee-shirt, the behind-the-scenes photos — posted to both the singer’s Instagram and Tumblr — shed little on what viewers can expect on Feb. 3.

According to a leaked set list, the 31-year-old superstar will belt out her hit “Crazy In Love” before reuniting with Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williamson stage for a medley of the group’s greatest.

But as Williams told MTV this week, the ladies are far too busy to rehearse for a reunion.

“Just thinking about it gives me a headache. It seems quite impossible because of our own individual schedules. My opening night for Fela! is January 29,” she said. “I’ve been in rehearsals for that, so I haven’t had time to think about learning anything else. But who knows? Maybe sometime in the future, five or 10 years from now, we’ll see.”

Yes we will. Don’t forget to tune into the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, Feb. 3 to see if DC3 reunites on stage.

What a tease!

Even with a leaked Super Bowl set list, Michelle Williams isn’t confirming anything related to a Destiny’s Child performance during next Sunday’s halftime show.

“Unfortunately, I honestly can’t say,” the 32-year-old singer told MTV News on Thursday. “Just thinking about it gives me a headache. It seems quite impossible because of our own individual schedules.”

“My opening night for Fela! is January 29. I’ve been in rehearsals for that, so I haven’t had time to think about learning anything else. But who knows? Maybe sometime in the future, five or 10 years from now, we’ll see.”

Five or 10 years? Or just another comment to pull on Destiny’s Child fans’ heartstrings?

What Williams did dish on was how wonderful it was for her to reunite with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland in the studio. Nearly two weeks ago, Destiny’s Child released “Nuclear,” the group’s first new material in eight years.

“It was a bunch of fun. It was just picking up right where we left off,” Williams told MTV.

As previously announced, DC3 will release a 14-track compilation album that will include the group’s best loved hits like “Cater 2 U,” “Say My Name” and “Emotions.” The album, out Jan. 29, will also feature “Nuclear.”

“We really did it for the fans,” Williams said of the new material. But once again, mum’s the word on whether or not there are any more new singles up their sleeves.

“We’re not promising anything, but we just wanted to say, ‘Hey, we still got it,’ and we just wanted to give fans something just to say thank you and that we really love you. Because without you, we wouldn’t be what we are. We wouldn’t be able to do it without the fans.”

Super Bowl 47 is on Feb. 3.

Beyonce‘s not done with performing live just yet.

Though she was recently scolded for using a backing track when she sang “The Star Spangled Banner” at the presidential inauguration, the “Single Ladies” crooner is ready to bring her A-game to this year’s Super Bowl, performing a four-song set.

Beyonce, 31, will start off belting out her hit ”Crazy in Love”, before performing a trio of tunes, including “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Survivor” and new track “Nuclear” with Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, according to Us Weekly.

A source close to Bey told the publication that Mrs. Jay-Z can’t wait to “knock them dead” in the wake of news that she lip-synched the National Anthem in Washington, D.C. on Monday.

Despite the backlash from fans, many fellow songstress jumped to defend Beyonce and her singing integrity, including previous inauguration performer Aretha Franklin.

Likewise, Howard Bragman, the Vice Chairman of Reputation.com, told Celebuzz that Beyonce didn’t lose any credibility after her performance.

“It doesn’t effect anything,” he told us. “This was a historical moment that she wanted to be her best and it was an amazing performance.”

The song, featuring Jay-Z, is the first single off of JT’s third studio album, The 20/20 Experience, the former boy band member announced in a letter to his fans.

The song, called “Nuclear,” will be performed live during the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 3 for their first time reuniting on stage since the split, according to Us Weekly, and will be featured on a 14-track compilation called “Love Songs,” out Jan. 29.

Naturally, the CD will feature the group’s best love tracks — everything from “Cater 2 U” to their cover of “Emotion.”

The news caps off a pretty epic week for group member Beyonce Knowles, who this week appeared on GQ’s February 2013 cover wearing nothing but a skimpy football t-shirt and barely-there underwear.

Beyonce Knowles still has love for her girls! The “Run the World (Girls)” singer showed up in support of her fellow Destiny’s Child gal pal Kelly Rowland‘s release of her album Here I Am. The party was held at the Standard Hotel in NYC on Tuesday night, and also in attendance was the third lady to make up the “Bootylicious” supergroup, Michelle Williams!

In true Destiny’s Child form, the women were all dressed alike in black ensembles but all put their own twist on their party outfits. Beyonce wore a one-shoulder jumpsuit that she belted at the waist, while guest of honor Kelly went for a sexier style, stepping out in a skin tight dress. Meanwhile, Michelle showed off her gams in a little black minidress.

The couple, who have never officially confirmed their marriage, attended a private party with Luke Wilson.

Since Destiny was fulfilled in 2005, Kelly has had two mildly successful solo albums and some film and television appearances.
