Dita Von Teese’s Search for Missing Dog Ends in Tragedy

Dita Von Teese’s search for her missing dog Eva ended in sadly Monday night when the 39-year-old Burlesque dancer-model discovered that her pet had died.

“My beloved Eva passed on tonight. Thank you for all your kind words. It means a lot to me,” she wrote on her Facebook.

How little Eva actually died is not yet known. The dog was first reported missing yesterday by Dita, who sought help on her WhoSay account.

“My dog Eva is missing, if anyone in Los Feliz/LA sees her, email Cali@dita.net. Good thoughts for her return are also appreciated,” she wrote.

This isn’t the first time a celebrity’s pet has died suddenly. Last month, The Hurt Locker actor Jeremy Renner‘s 8-month-old French bulldog Franklin died after running around at a Little League baseball game.

In February, Garrett Hedlund helped girlfriend Kirsten Dunst search for her missing cat in Hollywood. The search results were never revealed.

No one rocks lingerie quite like burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese!

Dita debuted her new lingerie line at Australia Fashion Festival this Saturday and we hear it’s already in high demand. The gorgeous 39-year-old got everyone’s tongues wagging as she flaunted her signature curves in a little black number from the Von Folies collection.

Inspired by her own vintage undergarments, Dita designed the collection for Target Australia. The lingerie line includes knickers, stockings, suspenders and bras. But don’t go rushing to the stores just yet — the line is only available in Australia and, according to Target, many items from the selection have already sold out!

Dita is no stranger to modeling lingerie as she’s already worked with Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier and Wonderbra. She said of her current line:

“It was important to me to accomplish the task of making these beautiful things in sizes that can make any woman feel sexy and glamorous, and I’m very proud that we have been able to do that, while keeping prices affordable.”

Burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese has a new lingerie line that is already in high demand. The gorgeous 39-year-old modeled the Von Follies range of underwear that she designed for the Target Australia, but don’t go rushing to the stores/website just yet!

On the red carpet, there are always multiple trends to be spotted. Whether we are talking menswear, neons, or neutrals, they all have one thing in common: Celebs are making them monochromatic!

The key to really achieving the effect of the monochromatic trend is to truly commit to sticking with one color. It may scare you to think about at first, but it is easier than it looks.

One way to easily work this trend into your wardrobe is to go for a long sleek dress in one solid color. Any color works, but if you want to be bold, go bright! Fergie, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana, and Jennifer Lawrence all went for daring colors like bright blue, emerald green, and orange red, while Emma Stone and Beyonce Knowles wore slightly subdued colors in peach and deep green satin.

Heidi Klum and Rihanna have both worn monochromatic suiting separates, so that is another way to experiment with working a single color. Guys…this one works for you, too!

Cannes Is Overrun With Inglourious Basterds

What Quentin Tarantino‘s new film Inglourious Basterds lacks in proper spelling, it more than makes up for with star power.

The World War II epic about a group of bounty hunters who track down and brutally kill Nazis had its premiere at the 62nd International Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, drawing everyone and his brother—along with the world’s favorite vampire.

Stars Brad Pitt (along with his babymama Angelina Jolie), Diane Kruger and Melanie Laurent were on hand, along with Sharon Stone, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt, Emile Hirsch, Joshua Jackson, Dita Von Teese, Joss Stone and—last, but totally not least—Robert Pattinson.

According to The Insider, the film’s debut was met with an 11-minute standing ovation. No wonder Tarantino felt compelled to bust out the dance moves on the red carpet.

Katy Perry and Dita Von Teese Fight AIDS With Fashion

Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry are willing to give the shirts off their backs to combat AIDS.

The burlesque queen and the “I Kissed a Girl” warbler are but two of the celebrities who’ve teamed up with H&M and Designers Against AIDS to help spread awareness of HIV and AIDS to today’s youth.

Von Teese and Perry collaborated with H&M on designs for garments, which will go on sale in H&M’s youth-oriented Divided department on May 28. Twenty-five percent of the sales proceeds from the 100-percent organic-cotton clothes will go to youth HIV/AIDS awareness programs.

Other celebrities and artists participating in the effort include Tokio Hotel, N.E.R.D., Cyndi Lauper and Moby. Check out a video of Perry and the other participants discussing the importance of the project below:
