Whether it’s bottle bought or sun caught, a tan has become the ultimate year round accessory for Hollywood superstars like Donald Trump, who stopped by The View Friday looking especially orange.

But for fear of looking like New Jersey’s so-caled ‘tanorexic mom,’ Patricia Krenticil, these over-baked celebrities might want to lay off the Mystic Tan.

Though Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi slammed Patricia Krenticil for taking her five-year-old daughter to a tanning booth with the not-so-subtle declaration “that b*tch is crazy,” we couldn’t help but ponder whether it is perhaps because the faked baked little one from MTV’s The Jersey Shore has been forced to give up her beloved tan — now that she is pregnant. But before her baby bump, the 24-year-old reformed ‘keg of legs’ was proud of her guidette glow. Indeed, co-star Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley once asked Snooki what color is her skin she was after she declared “I’m not white.” “I’m tan,” Snooki boasted. Christina Aguilera

When it comes to major malfunctions, The Voice judge Christina Aguilera is in a league of her own. The mom-of-one suffered a faux pas in January, 2012, while performing at Etta James’ funeral. Try comparing Hamilton to The Donald, Trump. It’s usually the 65-year-old billionaire’s hair that steals the limelight but his bad tan has makes headlines too. In November, 2011, Trump displayed tell-tale pale goggle rings on his very tanned face when he arrived at the studio of Good Morning America in New York with an unseasonably teak face. So is Hollywood to blame or are celebrities simply adhering to the edict of the late, influential French fashion designer Coco Chanel who once noted, ‘You can never be too rich, too thin or too tan.’

FOX recently announced they would be airing a summer series titled The Choice, which many are describing as a mix between NBC’s The Voice and ABC’s The Bachelor, and we’re finally getting a look at which celebs are up for the task.

According to Entertainment Weekly the show works a little something like this:

“In each episode, four celebrities sit in spinning chairs and listen to non-famous prospective dates pitch themselves. Over the course of three rounds, the contestant pool is paired down until each celebrity has chosen their date for the evening.”

Six one-hour episodes will begin airing on Thursday, June 7 at 9 PM on FOX.

Rumors began blowing up the Internet when Pauly D, 31, stepped out this past week to spin at the Rehab pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, looking beefier than usual.

The reality star reacted to the weight gain buzz, tweeting:

If the first glimpse wasn’t convincing enough, he tweeted one more photo showing off his tight and toned assets.

“Just In Case U Still Confused,” he added with another sexy shot.

While attending the kickoff for the Rehab pool at Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas over the weekend, the 31-year-old reality star showed off a much bulkier physique in a tank top and cargo shorts. Though we know (and love!) the Jersey Shore fella for his lean and muscular bod, it definitely looks as though he’s put on some extra pounds — all in muscle!

In our exclusive video, Pauly dishes on his new show, plus spills the dirt on his time with pop princess Britney Spears. Remember when she gave him a lap dance? Pauly D sure does:

“I have been playing [Britney’s] music my whole life, she now knows I exist. I did her tour, she gave me the lap dance that was the best day of my life. It was amazing.

Still, Pauly’s life isn’t all fun and lap dances.

In the first two episodes, we got a glimpse into Pauly’s home life in Rhode Island, which was a very different scene from the sunny beaches of Seaside Heights.

Pauly’s spin-off entitled The Pauly D Project will give us a glimpse into his home life and all the exciting twists and turns of his ever growing and successful DJ career.

Pauly D stopped by the Celebuzz offices today to give us a little sneak peak into the upcoming season.

“You will see a different side of me than on Jersey Shore. You get to see my life in Rhode Island and watch as I tour the road with my boys for my DJ career. The fans will get to experience it all with me!”

So how do his Jersey Shore friends feel about his new venture?

“Of course I’ll be watching,” Shore costar and Pauly’s BFF Vinny Guadagnino told Celebuzz at the GLAAD Awards on March 24 in NYC. “Those dudes are my boys, I have hung out with them a million times so when I watch them it’s just like watching my boys on TV.”

Vinny isn’t the only Shore mate showing Pauly some love. He’s also got support from the ladies! A pregnant Nicole’ Snooki’ Polizzi (who also has her own spin-off in the works) tweeted today.

“Can’t wait to watch my boys spinoff tonight! #paulydproject @DJPaulyD love you Uncle Pauly ;),” 

Her spin-off costar and friend Jenni “JWoww” Farley added via Twitter: “Tonight #paulydproject !!! congrats @DJBiggie @DJPaulyD @RyanLabbe @IamJroc and @BigJerryG.”

Meanwhile, Sammie “Sweetheart” Giancola later tweeted: “Soo excited! #paulydproject tonight on mtv at 10:30!! Wo0o congrats @DJPaulyD @RyanLabbe @BigJerryG @IamJRoc @DjBiggie !!”

Snooki graced the cover of US Weekly today, breaking the news that not only is she having boyfriend Jionni LaVelle‘s baby but the two are also engaged!

What are her fellow Jersey Shore stars saying to congratulate Snooki on her mini-meatball?

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola told Celebuzz: “Congratulations to both Nicole and Jionni on their engagement and the new addition to their family. I wish them all the joy, health, and happiness in the world.”

Meanwhile, DJ Pauly D (aka, the pending godfather of the baby) tweeted: “Congrats To My Girl @snooki So Happy For Her And Jionni!! I Better Be The Godfather :) #UncleDJPaulyD.”

Deena Nicole Cortese, Snooki’s partner in crime also chimed in, tweeting: “Congrats @snooki my Lil meatball!! Can’t believe we’re gonna have a little baby meatball running around soon.. Your gonna be a great mommy.”

No word from Snooki’s former fling and housemate Vinny Guadagnino just yet but Pauly told MTV News that Vinny isn’t too worried that he is the dad. “He’s counting the months,” Pauly joked.

Snooki’s pal Ryder who has made several appearances on Jersey Shore told Celebuzz “I’m excited and think Nicole is going to be an amazing mother. Jionni is a great guy and I know she is extremely happy with him.”

She also gave her congratulations by tweeting: “Finally! Congratulations to my beautiful best friend @snooki & her wonderful fiancé @JLaValle love you both wish you nothing but the best!”

In this newly released trailer, we get a closer look into Pauly D‘s crazy lifestyle. From opening for Britney Spears on the European leg of her Femme Fatale tour to a regular DJing gig at the Palms in Las Vegas, it’s certainly impressive to see what he’s done for himself outside the shore!

Proving that there is no stopping the Jersey Shore crew, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that DJ Pauly D‘s brand spanking new spin-off will debut on MTV March 29 at 10:30 PM. Titled, The Pauly D Project, the show will follow his life away from Seaside Heights, including scoring a record contract, DJ-ing in Las Vegas, and opening for Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour.

While Pauly D is obviously a fan favorite thanks to his many one-liners (“Cabs are herreeee!” “Fist pump till my arm falls off!”), do you think he’ll have the same appeal without his Shore cohorts, most importantly of which, his beloved Vinny?

]]> In honor of Jersday, the MTV star DJ Pauly D has announced his second big DJ resident gig in Las Vegas (his first was at the Palms Casino Resort in late 2011).

Pauly D will have a permanent spot at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino where he’ll be spinning at the nightclub Vanity inside the hotel beginning Feb. 18. ”I am thrilled to be part of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas family,” said Pauly D. “I look forward to spinning where some of the greatest names in the music world have performed.”

Vanity isn’t the only hotspot within the hotel where Pauly will be behind the ones and twos.

Fans can also check him out at the ninth season opening of the infamous REHAB pool party at Hard Rock Pool on Sunday, April 22, 2012.

The season premieres tonight (Jan. 5) on MTV and we thought you could use some help to get a taste of what’s about to unfold — sort of the show before show, or the shirt before the shirt.

Not only did friends and family all flew down to Puerto Rico to watch Brit wrap up her world tour, but she even invited them on stage to join in the festivities. First, Britney pulled Jersey Shore’s very own DJ Pauly D on stage for a special lap dance. Strapped down to a chair, the self-proclaimed guido grinned ear to ear during their entire performance.

But more special guests popped by Brit’s show!

Britney wrapped up the night by making it a family affair — bringing out her sons Jayden and Sean, boyfriend Jason Trawick, sister Jamie Lynn, niece Maddie, and mom Lynn Spears for a last minute dance party. Brit’s tiny tots excitedly danced with the back up dancers as Britney gave her niece a peck on the nose.

Pauly D got the party poppin’ as he DJ’ed the event and pumped up the crowd to a remixed version of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass”. He also showed some love for Justin Bieber, wearing a purple T-shirt with the teen heartthrob’s face on it. In Shore fashion, the reality star was spotted sipping on a UV Vodka drink and snacking on popchips. Meanwhile, Ronnie was all smiles as he posed in a rather preppy argyle sweater! Other celebs at the action packed event included Boyz II Men and Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan. 

OpenSky presents Perez Hilton’s One Night in New York City party isn’t the first time we’ve seen Pauly D showing love to the Biebs!

Amid rumors of his breakup with Shore star Sammi Sweetheart, Ronnie was solo all night. But when he ran into Miss Universe backstage, he immediately stopped and said, “Wow, you’re beautiful,” and posed for a picture with her.

All the money raised from the event’s ticket sales will go to GLSEN, the Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network. Pauly D seemed excited to raise awareness for the cause, telling Celebuzz: “Using my popularity to make a difference is really important to me, so I’m glad that I got the chance to come here and support such an important cause.”
