Lady Gaga is letting it all hang out — literally.

During her recent hangout with famed designer Donatella Versace, the Born This Way singer posed topless for a photo taken by none other than Terry Richardson. The photo, which was subsequently posted on her website, shows Gaga with her right arm around Versace and her left arm covering her breasts.

Well, almost anyway, as you can still catch a glimpse of Gaga’s left nipple.

Where were the high-star-power pair?

The pals were in the bathroom of Gianni Versace, Donatella’s late brother, according to the caption.

The snap seemingly comes from Donatella and Gaga’s time together in Milan, Italy, where the pals — along with Gaga’s pup Fozzie — were spotted on a Palazzo Versace balcony Monday. Before that evening, the designer tweeted, “Looking forward to hosting Lady Gaga for dinner tonight in Milan. She is so inspiring. I cannot wait!”

Gaga later thanked her gracious host. “Some legends, truly are,” she tweeted. “Pic of me walking into Gianni’s apt, which she covered in 40,000 roses. I love u #Donatella.”

Perhaps it’s overexposed photos such as this one that skyrocketed Gaga to social-media success. This week, the singing superstar passed the 30 million mark in Twitter followers, becoming the first person to ever cross that threshold. Teen idol Justin Bieber is not far behind, though, with 28.5 million followers.

It’s a dog day afternoon with the fashion’s biggest icons.

Lady Gaga and designer Donatella Versace were spotted enjoying some bonding time on the balcony of the Palazzo Versace in Milan, Italy, on Monday. The stylish duo were joined by Gaga’s dog Fozzie, who seemed completely enamored with Versace as she held the pup in her arms.

Why was Gaga in one of the world’s most fashionable cities?

Sporting a blonde wig, the 26-year-old “Edge of Glory” singer was in town for a dinner the designer threw for her muse.

Earlier that day, Versace tweeted her excitement about hosting Gaga in Milan, writing: ”Looking forward to hosting @ladygaga for dinner tonight in Milan. She is so inspiring. I cannot wait!”

Gaga has worked with Versace on numerous occasions over the years, with the fashion house designing custom costumes for her recent Born This Wall Ball tour.

After waving to fans from Versace’s private balcony, Gaga slipped into a figure-hugging bandage dress for her special fete.

To celebrate her super-sexy photos for the 2009 Campari calendar, Jessica Alba jetted to Milan yesterday for the calendar’s launch.  The new mom shared the red carpet with a couple of ladies who know a thing or two about fashion (and probably about Campari): 53-year-old Donatella Versace and her 22-year-old daughter, Allegra.

Alas, the 27-year-old Sin City actress displayed no brand loyalty to her Versace accomplices, opting for a stunning red Dolce & Gabbana number for the evening. But, hey; she tends to be a fashion renegade.

Alba made the trip with her husband, 29-year-old Cash Warren, stopping through London’s Heathrow Airport en route to Milano.

Aguilera played the VMAs on Sunday night looking like a certain global fashion designer, complete with bangs, hiked-up boobies and a smokey eye.

Eventually, Christina will be wielding a long cigarette holder and speaking in an unintelligible accent that only adds to her glamour and mystique.

As long as Aguilera doesn’t pick up the leathery fake bake, it’s an okay look for her.
