The “Lights” singer was due to stop by Celebuzz’s studio in Hollywood today for a live Twitter chat with fans, but has had to cancel due to being ‘under the weather.’

Ellie Goulding‘s latest music video could best be summed up in three syllables: Tear-jerker.

The British singer is currently on the rise in America. With her breakout U.S. hit “Lights” is still riding high on the Billboard charts, Goulding is gearing up for the release of her anticipated sophomore album, Halcyon.

She recently released a video for a ballad from her sophomore album — “I Know You Care” — featuring scenes from the upcoming flick, Now is Good, starring Dakota Fanning as a terminally ill teenager crossing items off her bucket list. The film also stars Jeremy Irvine as the boy who falls in love with her.

Goulding’s released her latest single, “Anything Could Happen,” earlier this month, following the recent success of her 2011 single “Lights,” which is currently No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Unlike “Anything Could Happen,” Goulding’s “I Know You Care” is a sorrowful ballad with a simple, yet haunting melody.

“Yeah I know you care/ I see it in the way you stare/ As if there was trouble ahead and you knew it/ I’ll be saving myself from the ruin,” Goulding sings.

Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s favorite singer, Ellie Goulding, showed off her bikini bod when she was spotted lounging at her hotel pool in Miami earlier this week.

The British singer – who is currently enjoying a big career boost in the States after she performed on Saturday Night Live and sang at Will and Kate’s wedding reception – relaxed on a chaise as she soaked up the sun to bring some color to her trademark pale skin.
