With a body like that, it’s hard to believe Eva Longoria is a single lady.

The Desperate Housewives alum flaunted her enviable figure while basking in the Brazilian sun on Rio de Janeiro’s famed Copacabana beach on March 10.

While working on her tan, Longoria, 37, chatted with friends from her laid-back chaise lounge, where she unwinded with an on-the-sand foot massage.

While south of the equator, the actress has been soaking up more than rays. Longoria has spent her getaway taking in tourist sites, from sinking her toes into the sand at Ipanema Beach to setting sights on the famous Christ the Redeemer statue.

Longoria’s Brazilian vacation comes just before her new NBC reality show, Ready for Love, premieres on March 26. The star is serving as executive producer of the upcoming dating series, which taps professional matchmakers to search the country for the perfect mate for three bachelors.

Meanwhile, Longoria is still single after splitting last June from on-and-off beau Eduardo Cruz, the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz; she’d been dating him on the heels of her divorce from NBA star Tony Parker.

Though Longoria and Cruz were spotted leaving her L.A. digs in January, neither party has commented on the chance of a reconciliation. But for now, Longoria is sure showing her ex what he’s missing.

Longtime Barack Obama supporter Eva Longoria sported a pair of interesting sweatpants in Los Angeles on Wednesday, as she left the home of rumored on-again beau Eduardo Cruz.

Splashed across her sweatpants were the words, “Behind Obama,” which, thanks to the former Desperate Housewives star’s attire, now has a whole other meaning.

Elsewhere on the west coast, Kris Jenner was all smiles as she indulged in some retail therapy at Fred Segal in Hollywood, Calif.

Earlier this week, FOX announced that it will test run Jenner’s brand new daytime talk show, Kris, in select markets including L.A. and New York beginning this summer.

In New York City, Michael J. Fox was spotted filming scenes for his new untitled comedy series. The show, which was picked up by NBC last summer, will air in the fall of 2013.

Over in London, David Beckham bundled up for the frosty winter weather in a navy blue coat and beanie. The day before, the soccer hunk was spotted working out — just for fun — with guys from the English Premier League club Arsenal.

“He told me he has not done anything since he stopped at L.A. Galaxy,” Arsenel manager Arsene Wenger told The Daily Mail. “I don’t believe that. I was surprised. But maybe he wanted to get a bit away from it. He is 37 as well, you know.”

It’s official: Barack Obama is back for four more years in the White House.

With approximately 600,000 people assembled on the National Mall and millions more watching worldwide, Obama and Vice President Joe Biden were sworn in front of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., shortly before noon on Monday, a date on which the nation honors Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. .

The swearing-in was solely ceremonial, following their formal, constitutionally-prescribed oath of office in the privacy of the White House residence Sunday. But the commemoration packed much star-powered celebration.

Before Obama preaching about America’s founding principles in his second Inaugural Address, James Taylor sang “America the Beautiful” and American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson belted out ”My Country ‘Tis of Thee.” But it was Beyoncé— and her soaring rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner — that garnered the biggest wave of cheers from the the Washington crowd.

And the applause continued on Twitter, as the social media site lit up with 1.1 million tweets during the ceremony (a lot more online chatter than Obama’s first inauguration, which tallied just 82,000 tweets).

Award season is in full effect.

The stars stepped onto the red carpets in their finest for the 18th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on Thursday. The award show comes on the heels of the People’s Choice Awards, and will likely set the stage for this year’s Golden Globe winners on Sunday.

Everyone from Eva Longoria to Emmy Rossum looked stunning in their ensembles for the red carpet. Both ladies served as presenters for this year’s show.

Jessica Chastain went for a regal coral gown on the red carpet. The Zero Dark Thirty star evoked old Hollywood glam with classic Veronica Lake waves and minimal makeup.

Meanwhile, Looper’s Emily Blunt was ravishing in a white gown with a jeweled neckline. She paired her minimalist gown with bold rep lipstick to offset her gorgeous fair skin.

Another star who wowed on the red carpet was Sally Fields – who wore a ravishing red cocktail dress with sophisticated black pumps for the ceremony. The Lincoln star just earned an Oscar nomination for her supporting role in the film.

Lala Anthony is the latest celeb to reveal a photo of herself without any makeup on. The reality star rang in the new year with pal Eva Longoria and captioned the Instagram pic: “New Years Resolution, no makeup, no filter LOL. Girls night recovery.”

Mother-of-two Nicole Richie went foundation-free when she hit the gym in Los Angeles on Nov. 10. Richie’s workout regimen includes plenty of hours logged with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, organic juices, and a low maintenance look free of mascara and concealer.

Tis’ the season to get married.

New husband-and-wife Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza are rushing in the Christmas spirit with a fistful of festive-themed wedding gifts, following their Dec. 1 nuptials in Punta Minta, Mexico.

The couple asked friends and family for Christmas-themed cutlery and kitchen essentials from stores Macy’s and Williams-Sonoma, Celebuzz has learned.

Guests at the wedding, like Eva Longoria, spoiled Mr. and Mrs. Lopez with gifts from Christmas tree dinnerware ($140) and wine glasses ($40), to a practical six-sided grater for $24.95, the more unusual Chef’n Strawberry Huller for $7.95 — and an extravagant $370 Swarovski picture frame.

What’s more, the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Gia, was not left out of the gift-giving experience.

Sesame Street Cookie Monster and Elmo Flexible Spatulas ($30) were also listed at the top of their must-haves.

According to a TLC spokesperson, Lopez and Mazza’s special day was filled with personalized touches and tears of joy.

The 39-year-old The X Factor co-host and Mazza, 31 — who met four years ago when they worked together on the revival of Broadway’s A Chorus Line – exchanged personally written vows at Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis‘ villa.

It was a family affair, too. The groom escorted his mother down the aisle, while his bride walked with her father and the happy couple’s little girl served as the flower girl.

Many stars have staunchly advocated for Obama’s reelection, using their celebrity status to influence the public. And they just love to speak their political minds. From pro-Bama video messages to self-led Twitter campaigns, everyone has their own to way of endorsing their favorite candidate.

Even the less-outspoken celebs show their support by hosting mere $40,000 per-plate fundraisers, or making generous contributions to their party of choice.

But it will all come down to who can bring in the most support by Election Day, on Nov. 6.

It’s splitsville for Eva Longoria and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. The two had only been dating since September and were spotted together frequently over the summer.

“Mark adores and respects Eva,” Sanchez’s rep told Us Magazine. “It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”

Longoria confirmed that the two were an item to Extra on Sept. 13 saying, “Mark and I are, you know, fine. We’re happy just dating.”

Sanchez has been mum on his relationship status thus far but one thing is for certain, he is a total mama’s boy.

“Family is big. My mom has to love her. I mean, love her. Somebody who can handle all this. . . because I’m still learning,” he told GQ in September 2011.

Listen up, America — because Scarlett Johnasson, Eva Longoria and Kerry Washington have a message for you.

In a new political ad by MoveOn.org Political Action, the three actresses take aim Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, slamming his stance on women’s rights.

“I want to talk to you about women,” Johansson says, addressing the camera. “And about Mitt Romney,” adds Washington. “Mitt Romney is for ending funding to Planned Parenthood,” says Longoria. “Including cancer screenings,” warns Johansson.

What else do the A-list ladies critique about the former Governor of Massachusetts?

The ad — directed by Oscar-nominated helmer Rob Reiner, behind such films as the Princess Bride and Misery— slams Romney’s position the United States Supreme Court’s landmark decision on the issue of abortion, which struck down many state laws restricting the medical service. 

“He said he’d overturn Roe V. Wade,” explains Washington. “We have Republicans trying to redefine rape,” says Johansson, “[and] trying to force women to undergo invasive ultrasounds,” adds Longoria.

“If you think this election won’t effect you and your life,” warns Johansson, “think again.”  That’s why, according to the three actresses, you have to make your voice heard. “Vote,” says Washington and Longoria. But not just for anyone: “Vote for Barack Obama,” Johansson urges.

This isn’t the first time Johansson, Washington and Longoria — a co-chair of Obama’s re-election campaign — have rallied behind the POTUS. All three took the podium at this year’s Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., throwing their Hollywood weight behind the Democratic candidate. “The other side wants to take our voices away and render us invisible,” Washington told the DNC crowd at the time. “But we are not invisible.”
