The “Forever” singer reportedly threw a tantrum for the ages after he was denied entrance to Eve Nightclub in Las Vegas this past weekend.

Chris was in town to sing the national anthem for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley fight.

When bouncers denied Chris into the club, the singer reportedly went “ballistic” and repeatedly said every tantrum-throwing celebrity’s favorite phrase: “Do you even know who I am?”

Chris also unleashed some rage after he received criticism for singing the national anthem at a boxing match. (Given his track record for using former girlfriend Rihanna as a punching bag, some people thought it was in poor taste.)

Chris took to Twitter to defend himself: “Im [sic] human. how may of u r perfect????????”

Being “human” is no excuse for throwing temper tantrums, Chris.

And Justin Long, Sarah Chalke, Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks were present in the pool area for an Effen Vodka party on Monday night.

Unfortunately, they were all unaware of reports that a dead guy was found in the pool the week before and that the Roosevelt supposedly hadn’t changed the water.

Jordan Nagler, 30, an executive from Illinois, was found dead in the hotel’s Tropicana Bar pool of an apparent heart attack on October 13.

Staff at the hotel were reportedly told that the pool didn’t need to be drained because “there was enough chlorine in it to kill the bacteria.”

According to sources, staff at the Roosevelt, the Tropicana Bar, and Teddy’s (the popular club inside the Roosevelt) were all asked not to “say anything to anyone” because, “We don’t want this to get out.”

Too late.

Joining the festivities were Eve, Kid Rock and clockwatcher Flava Flav.

30 Rock‘s Tracy Morgan was the illustrious guest host.

This year, artists including Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, Slick Rick and Too $hort were among the honorees for their contributions to hip-hop.

Performing artists included all of the above, as well as Wyclef Jean, Big Boi, Lil Jon, Estelle, Busta Rhymes and the Gym Class Heroes.

The show will air on VH-1 on October 6.

Portman’s directorial debut, the 17-minute short film Eve, will receive its official unveiling at the Venice Film Festival, which opens August 27.

The movie, described as a “civilized comedy” by the festival organizers, stars the eternally youthful Lauren Bacall and Ben Gazarra. Though plot details are scarce, if there’s any justice in this world, Eve will also include a make-out scene between Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz.

In fact, the MPAA should really just go ahead and make that a requirement for every film. That sort of thing would guarantee an audience for even the most unwatchable dreck.
