In a recent interview with MTV News, the Oscar-winner proved that it isn’t just screaming tweens who are obsessed with Twilight:

I love, I’m impressed by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison pulling it off in that whole story. [...[ I just love that [Breaking Dawn] so romantic. I’m always a sucker for a love story and also to do something for teenagers, because I feel like, why not have beautiful cinematography and all these things in a kid movie? Usually it looks like it’s not crafted very sophisticated, and I feel like it’d be nice to bring that kind of style into a younger film.

The Lost in Translation director admits that she was tapped by Summit Entertainment to direct the final two installments of the Twilight Saga but the director’s chair eventually went to Bill Condon.

Why was a Hollywood cool girl interested in director something that is–in her words–a “kid movie”? “My friend’s kids love the story so much,” the director admitted, “I thought it would be fun to make something that they love so much.”

Sofia, who is the daughter of famed director Francis Ford Coppola, is currently prepping for the release of her latest film, Somewhere, starring Stephen Dorff.

This month, however, Jacobs himself is appearing in a print campaign to celebrate the newest Vuitton “it” bag—a pink graffiti covered duffel paying homage to ’80s artist Stephen Sprouse.

The 45-year-old designer’s insanely toned body coupled with his creative genius has fashion watchers wondering: Who better sells the stock? Jacobs or the famous faces in his ads?
