Several high-profile patients gathered in Los Angeles Tuesday night for a candlelight vigil in remembrance of Dr. Ryan, 50, who died in a car crash Monday after reportedly Tweeting while driving. 

“As we all know, [Frank] was larger than life,” Dickinson told People. “He was the Bentley of plastic surgeons. He fixed people, but from the inside out. He loved women, he loved people.”

Melissa Rivers said Dickinson tried to persuade her to date Dr. Ryan, who performed procedures on her.

“He didn’t care who you were or where you were in your career – he was kind,” she said.

Montag, who revamped her entire appearance with 10 procedures from Dr. Ryan last year, took to Twitter to mourn the man she called an “angel” who changed her life:

I am devastated to hear the news of Dr. Frank Ryan’s death. He was the most amazing person I have ever known… He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist. Dr. Frank Ryan changed the world.

Kendra Wilkinson also lamented Dr. Ryan’s death via Twitter, saying he was a “great friend.”

KISS rocker Gene Simmons has yet to comment on Ryan’s death. He let the cameras of his A&E reality show, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, film his plastic surgery with the doctor. Watch the clip here:

Dr. Ryan’s ex-girlfriend, Charmaine Blake, told People that investigators informed the Ryan family that the surgeon was “texting while driving and…accidentally went over the cliff” on the Pacific Coast Highway. Dr. Ryan’s dog, Jill, survived the crash.

“He was the love of my life,” Blake said.

The KISS bassist has been slapped with a $500,000 sexual-assault lawsuit by a makeup artist who claims that he made inappropriate comments to her and “humped” her backstage.

Victoria Jackson claims that the incident occurred last November at the ESPN Sports Center, when Simmons—clad in his stage outfit—approached her and declared “I like you” in “a lecherous and inappropriate manner.”

Things only went downhill from there, the suit claims, as Simmons grabbed and hugged her, hurting her face with the chest spikes on his costume. Jackson claims to have tried to free herself, but then things really got unpleasant, according to her complaint:

“Klein (Simmons’ real name is Gene Klein, changed from his birth name of Chaim Witz), pulled her even closer, tightly, pinning her arms and said, no not yet….defendant started humping her. Klein humped Plaintiff to the extent that she could feel his groin grinding into her.”

The suit goes on to claim that, when Simmons concluded his grind session, he allegedly said,

“Aw, That’s better! Now you can go.”

Ew, nasty…

Simmons has responded to the allegations by filing his own suit against Jackson, claiming that no such incident took place.

Kiss bassist Gene Simmons has announced his desire to recruit the Pantless One into his venerable hard-rock combo. Says the Family Jewels patriarch,

“I love the vibe, the big mouth and the big visuals. She’s the most exciting thing to happen since us. She’s a female version of us.”

But it’s not just GaGa’s flamboyant stage presence that Simmons appreciates; her devotion to her audience is also a selling point:

“One of the first things we learned was to treat the audience as the guv’nor. When they buy a ticket they become your boss. We just work here. She realizes that her fans deserve the best you got because they pay your wages.”

Lady GaGa, smearing on the greasepaint and belting out “Detroit Rock City”—it’s an intriguing possibility. It’s just too bad that it’s unlikely to happen, since GaGa embraces the gay community and Simmons, um, totally doesn’t.

Kiss frontman Gene Simmons tells AOL in no uncertain terms that he thinks American Idol runner-up Lambert made a big mistake by coming out of the closet in his recent Rolling Stone interview.

“He’s enormously talented, best talent American Idol has had, but I think he killed his career because now the conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference,” Simmons opines. “He’s done. You’re forcing people to deal with issues they may not be interested in. Life is unfair, and the masses don’t all live in L.A. They live in Wisconsin and Nebraska, and you’re on crack if you think the same rules apply there. My advice is still the same, shut the f*ck up, just sing and let people say whatever they want.”

Hmm. Pretty strong words, for a guy who wears more makeup than Lambert does.

Extra reports that the American Idol runner-up—who performed a medley with Gene Simmons and company during AI‘s season finale—is mulling an offer from the band to hit the road with them.

“Adam was fantastic. What a powerful and attractive man he is,” raves Kiss bassist/singer Simmons. “He can come on tour whenever he’d like. Of course he’d have to put his armor on because the fans, especially the Kiss fans, take no prisoners. You gotta go big. Gotta be strong. You gotta be a rock, baby!”

And what does Lambert have to say about the opportunity? “That would be amazing…I would love that,” Lambert gushes. “That’d be such an honor. I had so much fun. To perform with Kiss, I would love that.”

At the very least, they could share each other’s makeup.
