Gerard Butler & More Attend Caliche Rum Lounge Event (PHOTOS)

Celebs were the first to taste Rande Gerber‘s premium Caliche Rum at the launch event in Beverly Hills Thursday night.

Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio with girlfriend Erin Heatherton, Laura Prepon, David Spade and Gerber’s wife Cindy Crawford were all in attendance for the exclusive rum-tasting preview. They were able to grab a few drinks, enjoy the music, and catch up with friends.

Irish actor Gerard Butler joined the festivities around midnight. When asked if he would be trying the exciting, new drink Butler said:

“No no, I’m not drinking, I’m just here to support my friend Rande.”

All of Hollywood came out for Vanity Fair’s Oscar party Sunday night at Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood, and Celebuzz has all the scoop! A newly single Katy Perry hit the bash following Elton John’s viewing party, but she kept a low profile inside the star studded soiree, just hanging with a few close friends.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus and her Hunger Games beau Liam Hemsworth also showed up after Elton’s soiree and stuck close to one another all night, a partygoer tells Celebuzz. The couple hung tight all of Oscars weekend as the two were spotted at WME’s pre-Oscars bash on Friday as well.

Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson gave each other a hug once they spotted one another inside, even posing for a few pictures together. Cameron also chatted with BFF Gwyneth Paltrow, who looked dazzling in a white Tom Ford gown. The girls reportedly got ready together on Oscar Sunday– love it!

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis also made no effort to hide their love. The couple held hands throughout the evening and even stole a few kisses from one another. We’re told they looked happy as ever!

Also giddy in love was Jennifer Lopez and beau Casper Smart. Jennifer introduced him to a few of her celebrity friends, but for the most part, they hung out together with her entourage.

Rounding out the A-List guest list: Emma Stone, Victoria Beckham, Lily Collins, Jon Hamm, Michelle Williams, Kate Bosworth, and Diddy were all partying together at the VF event, making for one star-studded soiree!

Gerard Butler Attends Vanity Fair Oscars Party After Rehab (PHOTOS)

Just days after completing a stint in rehab, Gerard Butler looked happy and healthy as he attended the Vanity Fair 2012 Oscar Party at the Sunset Tower hotel in West Hollywood. He wore head to toe Ferragamo for the soiree and was spotted hanging out with funnyman Jason Bateman most of the night.

According to TMZ report, Butler entered the Betty Ford Center in California three weeks ago after he became reliant upon prescription pills. He was released from the facility on Friday, February 24.

“Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health,” a spokesperson said on Friday. “We will not be making any further comment at this time.”

His substance abuse issues reportedly date back to the physical demands of filming 300 in 2006, and were exacerbated after he suffered an injury on the set of his new movie Of Men and Mavericks in December.

UPDATE: Gerard Butler has completed his stint in rehab, his rep has confirmed to PEOPLE.

“Gerard has completed a successful course of treatment and has returned home in good health,” a spokesperson said on Friday. “We will not be making any further comment at this time.”

Actor Gerard Butler is seeking treatment for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center in California, TMZ is reporting.

According to the report, Butler entered the facility three weeks ago after he became reliant upon prescription pills. His issues reportedly date back to the physical demands of filming 300 in 2006, and were exacerbated after he suffered an injury on the set of his new movie Of Men and Mavericks in December.

Sources added Butler has also had issues with cocaine. He is expected to be released today.

Butler’s dramatic weight loss has been the subject of talk in the last few months. In September, the actor accredited the weight loss to Mavericks, in which he plays a surfer.

Gerard Butler Escapes Death While Filming Surfing Scene (PHOTOS)

Gerard Butler was rescued from the Northern California waters while filming his new movie Of Men and Mavericks on Sunday afternoon, X17 reports. The actor was held under water by some unexpected big waves and taken to Stanford Medical Center for treatment.

Gerard, not an overly experienced surfer, was in the water with professionals Greg Long, Zach Wormhoudt and Peter Mel.

“They were steering clear of a set of waves in the 15-foot range when a much larger set broke in front of them, Butler was held underwater for two waves and washed through some rocks while tethered to his surfboard,” Wormhoudt told local reporters (via X17).

The actor was not injured and was released from the hospital later that day, he was more shaken up than anything else.

The plot line for Of Men and Mavericks that Gerard is staring in is based on a true story about surfer Jay Moriarty, who conquered Mavericks, the famous Northern California surfing location. He later died in a free-diving accident at age 23. Gerard plays Frosty Hesson.

It’s not just the coffee that’s hot in Santa Cruz, California — Gerard Butler is heating things up in his own special way.

While taking a break on set, the actor took a break from his shirt as well. He’s been snapped by photogs over the past couple of days filming his new movie Of Men and Mavericks.

Yesterday he was seen grabbing lunch, and sources tell Celebuzz he got his grub on at a restaurant called Burger. He was said to be very friendly and spoke with several people who approached him, evening posing for pics with fans. Good food, good times!

The movie he’s working on is about a surfer and his journey to ride the Northern California break known as Mavericks. As evidenced, the movie has him in top shape.

We got a sneak peek of his hot bod last month, when he hung out at a buddy’s beach house in Malibu over Labor Day weekend.

A guy’s gotta eat! Gerard Butler was snapped taking a lunch break in in Santa Cruz, California, looking good in green. Sometimes a simple tee and jeans are all that’s necessary to be in vogue — who needs high fashion?!?

Gerard then headed beck to the set of Of Men and Mavericks to meet up with his costar Jonny Weston.

The movie is about a surfer and his journey to ride the Northern California break known as Mavericks — a role Gerard trimmed down for that has him once again flashing his famous six pack!

We got a glimpse of his hot bod last month, when he hung out at a buddy’s beach house in Malibu over Labor Day weekend.

Earlier this week, rumors began flying that Machine Gun Preacher star Gerard Butler may have had a bit of an engaging evening with Sarah Carroll, the other half of faux-reality couple Sparah. And while Sarah doesn’t exactly tell Celebuzz that they did indeed share some romance, her quote leaves a lot to be analyzed.

When asked about the report in Life & Style magazine that she and Butler ended the night together, Carroll tells Celebuzz in a perfectly Hollywood vague way: “No comment on the Gerard Butler hookup. But, he was amazing in the film Machine Gun Preacher and it’s totally worth seeing. On a separate note I now need to Google and figure out who Brandi Glanville is?!”

Now, for anyone in the know, Glanville is the ex wife of Eddie Cibrian, who left the actor after his very public affair with songstress LeAnn Rimes. It should be noted that Butler is not married, so the reference might be a bit askew, but you can get where she’s going with it.

It should also be noted that Sarah was at the premiere thanks to Virgin America being a partial sponsor of the event.

In a follow-up video on the Sparah site the next day, Carroll — in a tee shirt and looking as though she just woke up — asked fans to “excuse my crappiness” because she was “up all night partying at the Chateau [Marmont].” She goes on to call Gerard “super nice” after meeting him, but doesn’t delve at all into the other rumors. Gerard Butler first got our attention with his super buff bod in the 2006 flick 300, but over the years he’s fought the flab, even looking a little stalky in Jan. 2010 while sunning in Barbados.

However, 2011 has been treating the actor right! He’s looking slim and trim and hotter than ever! The actor recently commented on his weight loss, telling E!:

“If I wear a long shirt, everyone says ‘Oh my God, he lost so much weight!’ But this is how I look. I just used to be a lot bigger. But now I’m surfing. I’m doing a surf movie so I have to slim down. I don’t know … maybe I’m sick or something!”

He added during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week interview,

“I ate my last meal in October and I run about 40 miles a day.”

In all seriousness, he said of his training regiment, “It’s just doing a lot of cardio and extremely watching what I eat. I stopped lifting big weights and I’m doing yoga. It’s not hard to be in shape … it’s hard to be in really good shape. I generally train for a role and give everything to that, and then you stop and then you do it again.”

The 300 star put on (and then took off) the green and white colors of Glasgow’s Celtic soccer club during a match held to benefit Oxfam’s East Africa charity Tuesday night in Scotland. So, who won?

The Scots won 5-2 in front of more than 50,000 fans. Other players on the field included former Celtic stars and retired players from the Manchester United. Is it just us, or does Gerard Butler look a little, well, little?

The slimmed-down actor stepped our for lunch (along with other Hollywood hotties like Taylor Lautner) to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon today. Celebs descended upon the Beverly Hotel on Thursday, where the people who put together the Golden Globe Awards presented over $1 million in grants to various arts organizations.

That’s some serious money, honey! Who got the bills?

Gerald, Taylor and more helped hand out the funds at the private event, which were presented to 46 nonprofit and educational organizations. Good works don’t come cheap!

Up next, Gerard will appear in Coriolanus as a fallen hero who takes revenge upon the city of Rome.

Gerard Butler, who is rumored to be dating Jessica Biel after photos of the two on his motorcycle surfaced, was spotted fitting in an early morning workout in WeHo on Wednesday afternoon. The sexy actor was all smiles as he headed into the gym rocking some scruff and a beanie.

Even if the two were taking things to a “romantic” level, we doubt it’s anything serious.

Only a few days after their motorcycle ride was documented, he was seen reportedly flirting with Twilight hottie Ashley Greene.

Also, Jessica just arrived in Canada to film the Total Recall reboot with Colin Farrell, so the two will be spending a few months apart.

According to the NY Daily News, Gerard Butler had a sexy party companion after the CFDA Awards Monday: Ashley Greene!

Supposedly Butler spent the evening “chatting, flirting and laughing” with the Twilight star who “clearly seemed amused by Butler.”

Look out David Beckham! There’s a new soccer hottie playing ball!

Gerard Butler was snapped on set set kicking some balls for his new movie Playing the Field. In the movie, Butler plays a former pro athlete who seeks to get back into the game of life by coaching his son’s soccer team. This position, however, lends itself to meeting some super attractive soccer moms, including one mother in particular, played by Catherine Zeta Jones.

Jones was also seen out in Shreveport, Louisiana filming her scenes for the same movie. While Butler was dressed in gym clothes, the stunning actress was draped in a floor-length black skirt and satin top.

Playing the Field isn’t scheduled to hit theaters till some time in 2012, but Butler is scheduled to have three films coming out this year: Coriolanus, Movie 43 and Machine Gun Preacher.
