Love is in spring air — or, at least, on set.

And it has stars are puckering up on camera from Los Angeles, Calif., to Brooklyn, N.Y.. Certifiable Hollywood hunk Zac Efron made a lucky lady out of his costar, actress Halston Sage, as they filmed The Townies, in which he stars as a fraternity boy whose antics affect a local family.

In the scene for the upcoming comedy, Efron, 25, is seen getting into the college party spirit at a Civil War-themed soiree. Donning an army-like jacket and wielding a faux (we hope) sword, the former High School Musical star gives a speak to his fellow school-aged revelers before pulling in Sage for a lusty lip-lock.

And over on the opposite coast, Lena Dunham was getting back into her fictional Brooklynite character Hannah while shooting the upcoming third season for her HBO hit series Girls.

After the season two finale saw Hannah reunite with bitter ex-beau Adam (Adam Driver), it seems to the two are still in each other’s arms. While shooting a scene in Brooklyn, N.Y., Dunham, 26, and Driver, 29, share a tender smooch on the streets of Greenpoint after he gifts her a necklace for her birthday.

Girls fans have seen plenty of Lena Dunham in the nude over two seasons. It’s no secret that she’s comfortable in her own body.

So it only makes sense that when Dunham recently took part in 20 Questions with Playboy, she blasted the idea of waking up in the body of a Victoria’s Secret model.

“There would be all kinds of weird challenges to deal with that I don’t have to deal with now. I don’t want to go through life wondering if people are talking to me because I have a big rack,” she tells the magazine. “Not being the babest person in the world creates a nice barrier.”

Dunham, 26, also opens up about the type of guy she used to be attracted to.

“When I was younger I liked men who gave me some guff. I liked badasses with hearts of gold, though they often ended up not having a heart of gold. They were a little like the Adam character on Girls.”

Fast forward to present day: Dunham has been in a relationship with fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff since last fall.

“Now I’m much more into someone who is interesting and open with his emotions, has a really good sense of humor and a passion for what he does, wants to hang out with my parents and doesn’t want to stay out too late,” she says.

“I’m a pretty unorthodox girl, but I guess people might be surprised to learn that despite what some of the characters on the show are doing, I remain an eternal romantic with a desire to hear all the things girls like to hear said to them.”

On her grocery checkout aisle purchases: “I cannot get out of the market without six trashy magazines and seven packs of gum. I wish I could resist those things. Oh, and sometimes a Cadbury Creme Egg, if it’s in season.

On her dream nude scene (to direct): “I don’t want them to date in real life, but I wouldn’t mind putting David Strathairn and Rooney Mara in a room together and seeing what happens when they have sex in a movie context.”

On what’s in her purse:“I still keep a paper date planner, which seems pretty old-school. I always have a novel. The stray-vitamin situation is pretty out of hand. But most surprising? A spoon. I’m always dragging one around. It’s a metal spoon. A plastic spoon makes sense. A metal spoon from your house makes it look like you’re going to commit a spoon murder.”

On the interview question she dreads the most: “If I could abolish one question, it would be ‘Why are you naked on TV so much?’ I don’t know. Use your imagination.”

On Sunday’s episode of HBO’s Girls, we left the city for probably the second time on the series. This time, we went into some extremely rural and unheard area of upstate New York called Manitou to explore Jessa’s (Jemima Kirke) home life and to pay her father a visit.  I feel like Lena Dunham has been constantly making up for the lack of action and excitement that took place on “One Man’s Trash” by taking the spotlight away from Hannah (Dunham) for once.  She did it last Sunday with Marnie (Allison Williams) and this time around it was Jessa’s turn.

Rest assured, though, you can take a girl out of New York, but you can’t take the New York out of a girl. Why do I say this? Well, because just mere minutes into the episode and Jessa’s shouting out remedies for urinary tract infections, which apparently are just referred to as “UTIs.” Jessa says the most effective way to get rid of such a thing is to “stick garlic into your p—y.” New Yorkers are vulgar, and don’t always think before they act. Still, I could’ve done without that piece of knowledge. But to those who’ve been affected by this infection, I hope you took notes. And it’s probably safe to say that if you watch Girls, then you have.

Moving on from Female 101, but then again what am I saying, we’re talking about a show called Girls. Every episode alone is a lesson in the femal psyche.

Jessa’s dad is really late to pick them up at the train station. But when he finally arrives, it was worth the wait in my book. The guy’s got a Charles Manson hotness about him going on. Yes, I understand how weird that might read, but Charles Manson was weird. The fact that people liked him is weird. So this makes total sense. Right?

They make their way to the Johansson house, which, by the way, doesn’t look anything like what I’d expect Jessa’s childhood home to look like. But then again, I also wouldn’t expect Jessa to live in the middle of nowhere — no wonder this chick is such a riot. It was that or a lifelong rendition of Hippies on the prairie. Oh yeah, one other thing: There is absolutely no understanding Jessa at all when she’s speaking to her father. Their accents meshed in one conversation is enough to drive anyone insane. Frankly, it was annoying, because I kept rewinding the scene over and over trying to grasp anything of what they were saying only to find out it was pointless. I like Jessa, so all is forgiven.

Jessa’s dad is a lot like her, though. They both spit out inappropriate things like nobody’s business.  He says as he’s aimlessly watering the lawn (“I know other things that are living and growing and don’t get treated as good as this lawn”).  I FEEL THAT, BROTHER!  I got a kick out of that. I needed a little spice after spending half an episode in Manitou. Take me back to New York, please!

A little bit more of this unconventional father daughter talk and we learn that Jessa’s not as much of a Boss Bitch as we thought she was. She’s still pretty hurt about the way her marriage went.  Jessa’s character is developing before our very eyes. And there is no place that will bring out your true colors like home will. Ask around.

Meanwhile, Hannah’s kind of into Jessa’s stepbrother, Frank. He looks like an overgrown child, and wears a turtleneck on what’s clearly a hot summer day. Hannah’s no poster child for normalcy, so I’ll take it.  She says, “I guess I can’t tell if guys are attractive in a loserly way or if they’re just losers.”  That doesn’t happen to me very often, but when it does, it’s dangerous.

Dinnertime has arrived and since we’re in rural upstate New York, everyone has to eat outside. And so they do. They eat rabbits. The same rabbit that Hannah was so lovingly caressing at the beginning of the episode when she first laid eyes on Frank the weirdo. “A rabbit a day, keeps the doctor away” is the motto that this family lives by. New Yorkers don’t eat rabbits, let alone see them, so as you can imagine, Hannah was not down for the rabbit eating.  But a vision in Blonde came our way and saved her from having to digest anymore of that poor little animal. Tyler, a blonde, all american suburban boy, also a friend of Frank comes over to pick Frank up. Tyler and Frank were close to having my gaydar explode. But, everyone else seemed to be oblivious of the whole thing.

They invite Hannah and Jessa to come along and off they go on a drive that seemed to be straight out of  I know What You Did Last Summer. Tyler is speeding down those zig zaggy country rodes like he has a death wish. Control freak Hannah is going out of her mind in the backseat and refuses to take a sniff of… Whip it? Yeah they were getting high off of Whip it somehow. Don’t know why, don’t know how. I guess this is what happens in small towns. Things get a lil’ cray and Hannah demands they stop the car, running into the woods saying, “I feel like I’m in freaking Hocus Pocusand Thora Birch is gonna wear a little hat.” This was the highlight of the episode. Anyone that even mentions that film will always have a place in my heart. Of course, right after this moment of glory she goes ahead and has forest sex with Frank the weirdo. He’s a minuteman and ejaculates before she’s had a chance to even get in groove of things. Poor Hannah. Maybe, it’s what she gets for always starting a conversation during intercourse. When will she ever stop?

Back on the hippie ranch, things get real again. Hannah finds out Frank is pretty much gay and he’s also pretty much in love with Tyler. I knew it, it’s just a shame that Hannah didn’t. We’ll be seeing the repercussions of this event play out during the next few episodes, I’m sure of it. This girl can’t get away from the gays. And she beats herself up about it. Lighten up, honey. You’re helping guys come out all over the nation. Frank’s coming out party shouldn’t be too far along now.

Jessa’s dealing with her own issues. Coming to the realization that she wasn’t in the right state of mind to visit her father yet.  In which Hannah responds, “Who’s ever in the right frame of mind to see their parents?” PREACH. Oh yeah, and remember what I said in last week’s recap about Dunham taking chances and how we never know what character we will or won’t see. Well, she must’ve heard it because Jessa runs away at the end of “Video Games.” Great, a world without Jessa. How will I ever deal?

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Jessa’s gone? ugh. I feel like no one’s as ballsy as her on Girls. 

Thank you, TV gods.: The reference to Hocus Pocus and Thora Birch is all a pop culture junkie can hope for in life.

Awk-ward: Hannah finding out that Frank is gay. If she turns her gaydar on, she’ll spare herself these awkward-licious moments.

Hotness: Tyler. I was expecting a make out scene between him and Frank the weirdo. But, Tyler alone was enough.

Fab-u-lous: That wannabe Jersey that Tyler had on fit him like a glove. This is what fashion is when you live in Manitou.

Can. Not. Wait.: Honestly, I couldn’t wait to get back into New York during this entire episode. That’s what I can’t wait for: Taxis and brownstones.

Which character’s family on would you like to meet next on Girls?

Alex Karpovsky might just be the male version of Lena Dunham, his castmate from HBO’s Girls. The actor has two movies debuting at the Tribeca Film Festival that he co-wrote, directed and starred in, Rubberneck and Red Flag.

In Rubberneck, he plays a technician working in a laboratory who becomes infatuated with a co-worker. His unreciprocated advances become increasingly delusional and dangerous.

“I love slow burning character-driven psychological thrillers,” Karpovsky told Celebuzz. “We (co-writer Garth Donovan) read about a real life case in Boston along those lines so we had some fun with it and created a few narrative devices to dramatize the story and got into it.”

“I love stories of unhinged passion, unreciprocated infatuation. There is such fodder for the exploration of damaged psyches, that’s what I’m interested in probably more than anything else.”

And in case you’re wondering, he is definitely not writing from experience.

“Maybe if I did have that,” he explained, “I wouldn’t be able to deal with it, maybe I’d want some distance from it. The removal allows me to explore it creative ways perhaps.”

So does he ever talk shop with Dunham on the set of Girls?

“No, I’m just an actor on the show and I feel like I do my best acting when I keep all my other hats in my closet back in my apartment. I just want to focus on one thing. I don’t want to cloud everything up. Also, I know Lena’s clearly very busy on-set. I don’t want to talk to her about anything else but my job, which is to make sure Ray’s engaging.

“It’s really fun to play him,” he continued. “Lena just writes so clearly, at least for me. I totally get what she wants from Ray. I understand how he reverberates to other members of the group and where he fits into the whole constellation of the Girls universe. I have a little bit of an advantage because I worked with Lena before on her film Tiny Furniture. I feel very comfortable working with her and understand what she wants and am able to make adjustments perhaps before she verbalizes them.”

The admiration is clearly mutual. In an interview with The Boston Globe, Dunham said, “I was attracted to his awesome improv ability and unique charm. When Alex and I were making ‘Tiny Furniture,’ he felt I was being too easy on him. He did something crazy in a take just to see if I was paying attention and would stop him. I was. I did. And then he trusted me. He’s smart and sly and willing to admit to anything. I love his brain.”

The actor, who was born to Russian parents, didn’t learn English until he entered kindergarten at the age of five. He studied visual ethnography at Oxford University and would like to continue writing, directing and acting.

“If I had my druthers I’d love to keep doing all of them. I feel like if I only did one or two of them I would get anxious. If I only acted sooner or later I’d get an itch and feel like I didn’t have enough creative expression of my own, conversely if I only directed I don’t think life would be quite as fun.”

Girls airs Sundays at 9PM on HBO.

Below, Girls star Allison Williams talks to CB! about Season 2.

When I started watching HBO’s Girls, I hoped and wished it accurately portrayed life as a twenty-something, whether girl or boy. Season 2 has had its highs and lows when it comes to relateability, believability and authenticity. But most of the time, creator (Lena Dunham) drives it home. Sunday was one of those episodes.

Following Hannah’s (Dunham) solo episode last week titled “One Man’s Trash,” we finally get enough face time with the rest of the Brooklynites. Though not nearly enough as we should have, I won’t complain. All I need is a minute of Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and I’m sold until the following week.

The episode brought us in with some very exciting news. Starving artist Hannah has scored a book deal — kind of. She was commissioned to write an e-book. Yeah, it’s an e-book, but she has worked hard and she took the news like a natural.  And might I add, with all the backlash Dunham has received about her show loosing its impact as a show about struggling girls in New York, when it’s no news her massive success is expanding by the minute. When that publisher told her he wanted her to write a book, she almost cried. I almost cried. She’s still believable.

Her meeting ends with some very wise words said by her publisher. Words I think everyone should abide by. “Call me when you need to, don’t call me when you don’t.” I can’t think of how many relationships I could’ve saved, or job opportunities I could’ve had if I would’ve lived by that statement. But, that’s what being 22 is all about right. Trial and error anyone?

Meanwhile, Marnie’s (Allison Williams) on the other side of Brooklyn making her own errors.  Starting by being in bed with Booth Jonathan (Jorma Taccone). Ya’ll, Booth Jonathan was the new Hannah on “Boys.” We see Boothy in his birthday suit. There must be a rule where someone must show his or her behind in every episode. I wasn’t mad about it being Booth this time around. I’ve had too much of Hannah’s flashes, and I’m pretty sure so has America. I mean, people in Brooklyn are liberals not nudists, Hannah. Booth fired his trendy cool Asian assistant, and asks Marnie to fill in for her as hostess for his party that same night. Marnie’s thrilled and accepts the offer with no questions asked. Error No. 2.

Shoshanna’s (Zosia Mamet)  back, pastel colors and all. Now that she has dealt with her choice to be with Larry (Alex Karpovsky), she’s taking her relationship by the horns. She sets up entrepreneur workshops for Larry all around the city, only to have him shut down her plans. At a glance, this is just “Shosh” being “Shosh.” But when you look deeper, it’s more than that. Shoshanna is trying to save her relationship by making Larry someone worth fighting for.

He practically scorns her, basically revealing that he’s a deadbeat and he’s not really doing much to change that. This raises questions we’ve all asked ourselves: Do we love them as they are? Or help them be the person they can be? I don’t really know the answer to that, and on Sunday’s episode neither did Shoshanna.

After all, this is a guy who stated that writers just “eat and masturbate.” Not exactly. Or maybe not in that order for some.

The trash talker himself pays a visit to Adam (Adam Driver) at his apartment. Yes! Adam is back. This guy is the best character to hit “Girlsland,” and he’d been gone far too long. I like how Dunham takes chances. We never know whom we will or will not see on the next episode. That girl keeps me on my toes.

I forgive her for taking Adam away from me on the last couple of episodes, because this time he was back in full swing. Girls became the “Boys” show when Larry and Adam decide to have a day out. They bond, they talk, and they even get sentimental. The duo is an unlikely pair of characters to place together, and as I suspected the lack of chemistry brought home the first of the two winning scenes of the show. Adam nearly fights Larry when he insinuates that Hannah is a bad person. He also tells him how much of a loser he is for taking advantage of Shoshanna.

“What you’re doing with Shoshanna it’s not real. She’s just some kid you feel safe with, because you know it won’t work out. You’re just babies holding hands,” he says. And at that moment, I said my daily “Yes!,” because anything that Adam says when he’s mad feels like the truth.

See this is why we need Adam back. Only 15 minutes into the episode and he’s telling it like it is.  This guy is probably the only believable New Yorker on the show. His apartment can attest to this.

By this point, I had no idea which direction this episode would be heading in.

Hannah attended douchebag Booth’s soiree’ with a new self centered Marnie. These two are growing farther and farther apart. I blame Marnie, she’s been making all the wrong decisions this season. Who would’ve thought getting fired from an art gallery would spiral your life that much out of control? Hannah feels an overwhelming amount of “uncoolness” and opts to ditch the party and head home.

Meanwhile, Marnie’s in the whine cellar with Booth Jonathan having no idea of the heartbreak that’s about to follow. This girl needs to wear a bulletproof vest, or maybe just take a hint when it comes to guys.  Booth offers her $500 for the night, leaving Marnie majorly confused responding; “I’m you’re girlfriend, you don’t have to pay me.” Booth says, “I wasn’t aware that I had a girlfriend. You’re a hostess for a living, I didn’t think it was that weird to ask you to host.” Yeah, he went there. That statement was so wrong and hurtful on so many levels that Marnie couldn’t even wait to get home and cry. She got straight to sobbing, right there in the cellar! Fitting kind of? She’s trapped in a  cellar of failed flings.

The night has come to and end. And just like another night on the twenty-something universe, another heart has been broken, another dream has been shattered. Hannah lays in her bed hopelessly uninspired Marnie makes her way into the subway with only half the get-up she had at Booth’s party.

This is the moment the episode led up to. Both girls completely ashamed of the current stages of their lives, feeling the need to lie to each other on the phone about the night’s outcome. Each believing one another, but refusing to believe their own situation. This right here was gold. It’s not easy to admit to your friends that what you’ve raved about for days has come to an abrupt end. Or that it’s turned out to be a complete failure. And at the end of the day, we’re just left with the lies we’ve told.

Awk-ward: I have to go there again. Marnie telling Booth Jonathan that she thought they were exclusively dating when they weren’t is probably one of the most awk moments she’ll have in her entire life. Really hard to top that one. But then again it’s Marnie.

Hotness: At the risk of being a broken record — it was kinf of hot the way Adam flipped on Larry. Does anyone else agree?

Fab-u-lous: Marnie’s dress at Booth’s party? HELLO! Amazing, in all its plastic glory.

Can. Not. Wait.: I can’t wait until Jessa gets back into her groove, her point of view on life is vastly missed.

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 7 —This episode was for sure an improvement on last Sunday’s. And although I keep waiting for the next to measure up to the fabulosity on this season’s third episode, “Bad Friend,” it has failed to do. Does anyone think we need Andrew Rannells’ spice back in the Girl-verse? I do.

When it comes to fitness, HBO’s Girls star Allison Williams says it’s all in the genes.

“My mother is someone I grew up with, who is very nutritional in the way that she ate,” Williams, the new spokesperson for Simple Skincare, told Celebuzz. ”And she is always someone who believes there should be a fruit and a protein, and veggies, and the balanced meal. I definitely inherited that from her.”

The 24-year-old actress credits her mother, TV journalist Jane Williams, for her exercise routine. “She’s always been a manic exerciser, in a very yogic sense,” she said.

“She loves doing yoga and pilates and things like that, so I grew up appreciating cardio and also just muscular exercise type things.”

Since this healthy lifestyle was something that Williams practiced long before she starred on the HBO series, she said she never feels pressure from Hollywood to stay fit.

“This is something I’ve had in my system for a long time. The thing that I haven’t had forever is those other stressors that weren’t part of my life until recently, like wearing makeup everyday or just the speed of my life, flying in planes as frequently as I do now,” the Manhattan native said.  ”They’re all manifests of a very exciting thing, but they’re all new to my life.”

On Monday night’s Chelsea Lately, Girls star Allison Williams admitted that she’s watched every single sex scene she’s done on the show (and there have been quite a few) with her entire family — including her famous father, NBC anchor Brian Williams.

The 25-year-old didn’t even shield them from her most-recent graphic encounter where William’s character, Marnie, had awkward sex with a gay man (Book of Mormon‘s Andrew Rannells), a scene that was so uncomfortable to watch that Chelsea Handler specifically asked about it.

Handler said, ”That’s weird. And it would be weirder to watch with your dad.”

To which Williams bluntly replied, “Which I did.”

Williams explained that she preps her family in advance for each scene, giving them the most technical explanation she can to prepare them and try to eliminate the “weirdness.”

But even with all that prep work, her family still has trouble stomaching the scenes: “People are vomiting in their chairs,” she said. Well, hopefully that means that she’s doing her job well. The scenes are just that realistic.

If Girls creator Lena Dunham is ever casting guys for her show, she doesn’t need to look further than her own HBO family.

Paul Sparks, who plays Mickey Doyle on the network’s Prohibition-era drama Boardwalk Empire, has stepped forward to volunteer for any part on the modern day comedy about 20-something females.

The 41-year-old actor made his case to Celebuzz on the red carpet at Sunday’s 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards, telling our cameras, “I have so many things I can do for [Dunham].”

“I play a character who never gets to have sex,” he continued, adding with a smirk, “I can do that.”

 However, don’t think Sparks it ditching his ties with Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) and the rest of the Boardwalk gang just yet — he’s still very passionate about the bootleggin’ drama.

“I think it’s a very intelligently written character drama that goes to interesting places,” he told us. “I think the group of actors that are on it are strange and wonderful and different and — weird and very talented.”

“And then all that sex and the costumes — I mean, it’s just the whole package.”

Boardwalk Empire was nominated for a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance By an Ensemble Cast in a Drama Series, but lost to PBS’ Downton Abby.

HBO’s hit series Girls, which was just renewed for a third season, has been characterized as being all-too realistic and I, for one, couldn’t agree more.

The four leading ladies of the show echo today’s everywoman and offer up a heaping dose of relatable woes on topics ranging from boys to finances.

Similar to Sex and the City in that everyone can relate to the characters as they navigate their way through singledom and their blossoming (at best) careers in New York City.

So what has the Golden Globe-winning series taught me? Endless life lessons to say the least.

Whether Lena Dunham’s character, Hannah, is butchering a break-up speech to her on-again-off-again boyfriend Adam (Adam Driver), or Shoshana (Zosia Mamet) is battling virginity jitters, the ladies of Girls recreate nostalgic life moments that really hit home.

The gut-wrenching scenes of Marnie (Allison Williams) walking right into a minefield of ex-boyfriends leaves me not only sympathetic, but reminded of exactly what not to do. And who could forget the free-spirited Jessa (Jemima Kirke)? I am both envious and weary of her newfound love and blink-and-you’d-miss-it marriage – reminding us that sometimes cupid’s arrow hits you hard and it’s possible to fall for a stranger.

Whatever trouble our favorite characters find themselves in, fear not. The bond between the twenty-somethings is unbreakable and so is my love for all things Girls.

From facing your fears to having your BFF’s back, Dunham’s standout show is filled to the brim with lessons I won’t soon forget.

Lena Dunham has probably forced HBO’s hand. Earlier this week, the Golden Globe-winning star said on Alec Baldwin’s podcast that Season 3 is already set for production. Then on Friday, HBO announced a renewal on for a 12-episode third season. Anticlimactic, I know. But, as these announcements tend to go – it arrives in time to remind us to tune in on Sunday. [HBO]

Ratings: Say what you want about American Idol’s flagging audience, it still wins both Wednesday and Thursday nights for FOX in both total viewers and the all-important advertiser-coveted 18 to 49-year-old audience. And now, there’s one more reason to keep it around. Thursday’s episode was down 9 percent from last week’s episode, but it helped attract 6.9 million viewers to Glee’s winter return and a 35 percent increase in the key demo. [EW]

Scrubs star Sarah Chalke is making a dramatic return to the hospital. She will guest star on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy on an episode airing sometime in the spring. No further details right now about who she’s playing. [TVLine]

Let it be known: Lena Dunham isn’t on Team Rihanna.

Dunham portrays a reckless 20-something unsure about love on Girls, but when it comes to the topic of real-life romance and role models, the actress has a strong choice of words regarding Rihanna‘s wild behavior and reconciliation with Chris Brown.

“[Being a role model] is amazing. It’s an amazing thing and it’s, like, it’s a platform that you have to take seriously,” she told Alec Baldwin in an interview on his WNYC podcast Here’s the Thing. “Which is why sometimes it’s like I used to be really into Rihanna, that pop star, and then it’s like again, I don’t want to ever throw stones from my glass house, but I follow her on Instagram and I just think about how many little girls beyond what I could even comprehend are obsessed with Rihanna. Like you know, she left Barbados, she’s had this amazing career, she’s won a Grammy.”

And just like many others, the Golden Globe winner gave her two cents on RiRi and Brown’s eyebrow-raising reunion.

“She’s talented. And then she gets back together with Chris Brown and posts a million pictures of them smoking marijuana together on a bed,” Dunham continued. “And it cracks my heart in half in a way that makes me feel like I’m 95 years old.”

From salacious photos to cuddling courtside at Los Angeles Lakers games, the on-again, off-again couple has raised eyebrows since their infamous domestic violence drama in 2009.

While they’ve shut down speculation of a rekindled romance, RiRi recently ignited the rumor mill once more with the release of the cover of her latest single “Stay,” which features a mystery man who bears an uncanny resemblance to Brown.

Despite outsiders’ opinions, Brown remains dedicated to making things work with Rihanna.

“Me and her have history, and me and her are definitely always going to be best of friends,” he said during an interview with Los Angeles’ Power 106 radio station. “We’re working on our friendship now.“

To celebrate the show’s Golden Globes wins and new season, we’re breaking down the cast of Girls’ red carpet style. Then it’s your turn to weigh in on the star whose off-screen style you’d steal.

Like their characters on the show, each of the show’s leading ladies has a unique personal style and look that they’ve honed, but not ditched, since becoming red carpet regulars.

While Williams has experimented more with her style during the last year (and gotten some flack for her recent “Hollywood makeover”), she tends to stick to classic silhouettes with preppy underpinnings.

Dunham, on the other hand, has an edgier downtown style that’s a little bit grunge and a little bit hipster mixed with a touch of tomboy. However, she’s stepped up her style, even experimenting with more fashion-forward looks and big-name designers, for her recent big red carpet moments.

The show’s creator and star rocked a strapless Valentino jumpsuit to the show’s official premiere in New York City last week, where she talked about moving outside her fashion comfort zone.

“I didn’t think I could get away with [wearing it] because jumpsuit seems like such a dirty word,” Dunham told PEOPLE. “But people are acting like it’s a normal thing to do, so I’m just rolling with it.”

Channeling a more modern, minimalist vibe, Zosia Mamet (aka Shapiro) gravitates toward menswear-inspired styles and lot’s of black. Mamet’s style opposite, Jemima Kirke rocks a more urban-bohemian style that isn’t too different from her character Jessa. The new mom opts for long, breezier styles on the red carpet and hippie-inspired accessories.

What do the shows The Big Bang Theory, Episodes, Girls, Modern Family, and Smash have in common? Not much, except that this bunch of apples and oranges are competitors for a trophy for Best TV Comedy or Musical Series at the Golden Globes on Jan. 13.

That the category lumps in conventional three-camera laughtrack sitcoms (Big Bang) in with single-camera awkward-silence comedies (Episodes, Girls, Modern Family) and a musical drama (Smash) makes it hard to guess which one Globe voters will pick. The absence of many longtime awards favorites like 30 Rock, The Office, and Two and a Half Men also makes the category tough to handicap. Nonetheless, we’ll give it a shot.

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards air live Sunday at 8PM ET/5PM PT on NBC.

Admit it: As loyal a TV fan as you are, there were moments in 2012 where you felt like flinging a brick at your flatscreen in frustration. Favorite shows and actors went off the air or ended their seasons too soon, and networks tried to sell you shows and stars and movies you’d rather not watch.

Behind all these irritants were decisions by network and cable executives meant to draw viewers and improve ratings, but which often backfired and did the opposite.

If your favorite channels want to make amends and do better in the coming year, they should adopt Celebuzz’s list of 10 New Year’s Resolutions for TV Networks, which they can read in handy gallery form at the top of this article.

For instance, we all spent a lot of time in 2012 immersed in the backstage dramas among high-profile celebrity judges on talent competitions like NBC’s The Voice and Fox’s  The X-Factor and American Idol, and not enough time on the contestants. We’d like to see the TV networks resolve to put the focus back where it belongs, on the on-stage drama. On the other hand, we didn’t spend as much time as we’d like immersed in the scripted dramas we love on cable like AMC’s Walking Dead and Showtime’s Homeland. We’d like to see the programmers resolve to lengthen the too-brief seasons of those shows.

The latest trailer for the second season of the hit HBO series Girls is out and gives us more hints at what’s to come.

In the trailer, Lena Dunham‘s Hannah professes, “I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drummer.” And the upcoming season surely confirms that notion.

Hannah is seen dancing in a club, scantily clad, in a bathtub with Jessa (Jemima Kirke), and getting hot and heavy (and awkward) with new men.

The season, which premieres on Jan. 13, is one of the most highly anticipated shows of this season.

Dunham’s star power has already garnered her a $3.5 million dollar book deal from Random House for her upcoming novel, Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s Learned.

The book is a series of short stories and essays based on her life with chapters such as “Work,” “Friendship,” “Body,” “Sex,” “Love” and “Big Picture.”

No release date has been announced, but we’re certain that fans the world over are ecstatic about reading Dunham’s literary debut as well as the second season of Girls.

The first season of the show was so well received that it got nominated for Best Comedy or Musical Series and Best Lead Actress in a Comedy or Musical Series for the 2013 Golden Globes for Dunham’s outstanding work.

Jemima Kirke has given birth to a baby boy!

Us Weekly reports that the Girls star welcomed her second child with husband Michael Mosberg “about a week ago.”

“It’s a boy named Memphis. The Girls crew and Lena [Dunham] are so excited for her!” a source told Us.

Baby Memphis joins big sister Rafaella, who was born in 2010.

Kirke, 27, stripped down and showed off her belly for Vice just a few months ago.

The British-born American actress also opened up about similarities she shares with her free-spirited Girls character, Jessa.

“The character I play is not so far from me. I mean, fundamentally she is, and some of her behavior might have been taken from things I’ve done, but . . . I think that way of life stopped working for me really quickly,” she told Vice.

Kirke and the Girls crew are gearing up for the second season of the hit HBO series. On Friday, the network unleashed a brand new trailer for the show and yes, Jessa’s eleventh-hour husband Thomas-John (played by Bridesmaid’s Chris O’Dowd), is still in the picture.
