Ah, the princess life.

Fans of Nicole Kidman and Grace Kelly were treated to new stills from the biopic Grace of Monaco this week. The images come just days after The Weinstein Company wrapped a deal to acquire the film over Oscar weekend, according to Deadline.

The picture will tell the story of how the famous princess transitioned from Hollywood to royalty during the ‘60s. Tim Roth plays Prince Rainier III. Milo Ventimiglia, Parker Posey and Frank Langella also star in the movie.

During a recent interview with Collider, Kidman, 45, talked about the “trepidation and fear” involved in playing the iconic figure.

“I watched a lot of her movies, I watched a lot of footage on her. There’s home videos and stuff like that,” she said.

“You have access to her, she’s sort of, even though she was from another era, she’s still so present.”

On Sunday, Nicole Kidman was spotted putting on her best Kelly face on the set of the new biopic, Grace of Monaco.

The Australian actress spent the day filming scenes in front of a Cartier store in Paris, France, opposite her co-star Milo Ventimiglia, who plays the famous princess’ publicist in the movie.

Kidman, 45, looked all sorts of regal in a large pink and fuchsia hat, blue dress coat and sparkly earrings while Ventimiglia, 35, looked dapper in a suit and tie.

The film, directed by Olivier Dahan, also stars Parker Posey, Frank Langella and Tim Roth, who portrays Kelly’s Prince Rainier III.

Grace of Monaco opens in theaters in 2014.

Nicole Kidman is channeling her inner Grace Kelly.

First-peek photos have emerged from the Menton, France, set of Grace of Monaco, in which the Oscar winner portrays the actress-turned-princess. And with her perfectly coiffed hair and vintage yellow coat, Kidman certainly looks the part.

Who else is starring in the much-hyped biopic?

The movie, set to hit the big screen in 2014, will also star Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia and Frank Langella. Tim Roth, meanwhile, plays Kelly’s prince charming, Rainier III.

Kidman beat out a host of other A-listers who wanted to play Kelly; they include Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt.

On Thursday, movie buffs around the world got a first look at Kidman as the princess in the upcoming film Grace of Monaco.

The dreamy snapshot shows the 45-year-old Australian native in her princess best, posing with the iconic Kelly hairdo and a gorgeous sequined outfit.

Kidman is the latest actress to make headlines this week with her portrayal of a real-life figure.

As Celebuzz previously reported, Private Practice actress Agnes Brucker will play Anna Nicole Smith in an upcoming TV movie for Lifetime called The Anna Nicole Story. The biopic will document Smith’s early days in the South and her journey into the Playboy and celebrity worlds.

Other ongoing projects this year include: Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs; Naomi Watts as Princess Diana; and Jane Fonda and Alan Rickman as Nancy Reagan and Ronald Reagan.

Grace of Monaco, out in 2014, is directed by Olivier Dahan and also stars Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia and Frank Langella. Dahan’s past work includes My Own Love Song with Renee Zellweger in 2009 and La Vie En Rose with Marion Cotillard in 2007.
