The world was first introduced to Emma Watson in 2000 when Warner Bros. announced that the then 11-year-old actress would play Hermione Granger in its Harry Potter series. The Harry Potter cast reunited to celebrate Warner Bros’s studio tour grand opening in Watford, England this weekend. Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, and Bonnie Wright all stepped out to welcome wizards and muggles alike to visit the film’s former sets and relics. Located outside of London, the tour allows fans to visit magical places from the film like Diagon Alley and Dumbledore’s office.

So, where was Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe?

The actor swapped his Potter spectacles for Allen Ginsberg’s! Earlier this month, Daniel was seen hard at work filming Kill Your Darlings, a biopic revolving around three famous American poets, in New York City. The film also stars indie starlet Elizabeth Olsen.

The jury at London’s Wood Green Crown Court found the actor guilty of “violent disorder,” but charges were dropped in regards to him “intending to destroy or damage property with a fire bomb he was holding.” BBC News is also reporting that Jamie also got 12 months for “handling stolen goods” as he was reportedly sipping from a stolen bottle of champagne during the riot. 

Judge Simon Carr said of the events that lead to Jamie’s prison sentence (via BBC News):

“A considerable amount has been said about what happened over those few days. Anyone watching the footage in this case can only imagine the mayhem that took place on the streets. You chose to go out on to the streets on what was the third day of the violence.”

Meanwhile, his lawyer Emily Dummatt said of her client, “Although he had the good fortune to be in the Harry Potter films, it turned out to be not so good fortune.”

This isn’t Jamie’s first offense. The 22-year-old actor was also convicted of being in possession of marijuana. 

The love-hate relationship of blockbuster couple Ron and Hermoine played by Rubert and Emma came in at No. 1 as the Potter films raked in about 4.2 billion worldwide.

Who came in a very close second?

It’s the Twilight series love story between human Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen, played by none other than KStew and RPattz (as you know, they’re also an offscreen couple). This Saga has so far brought in $2.5 billion worldwide, but they still have another installment left to go. Part two of Breaking Dawn hits theaters in November 2012.

To celebrate the release of the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, on Blu-Ray and DVD, Celebuzz had the pleasure of heading down to Orlando, Florida this past weekend and got to catch up with a number of cast members at the epic theme park. The red carpet was rolled out (right through the streets of Hogsmeade, no less!) and a slew of stars from the film came out for one last hurrah.

From their first reactions to seeing the theme park, to offering words of wisdom for the Hunger Games cast, we chatted with Rupert Grint, Jason Isaacs (aka Lucious Malfoy), and many more!

With the release of the eighth and final film (Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part II) on Blu-Ray and DVD Friday November 11th, Celebuzz was lucky enough to chat with James and Oliver Phelps (who portray George and Fred Weasley in the films) at — wait for it — the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

That’s right, we sipped some Butterbeer (delish!), stopped by Hogsmead (so fun!), then sat down with the guys to talk about all things Harry Potter.

How does it feel to be back here now that all the films are done?
James Phelps: It doesn’t really feel like it’s ended. There’s always something going on, and there’s always such excitement around the park.

How did you feel the first time you came to the park?
James: We were a lot like everyone else. We just kind of looked around in amazement. We had done some stuff to prepare for the park a couple years ago, like recording for rides.
Oliver Phelps: Yeah, we thought it would be good, but in the other sense we just thought it would be a few things with Harry Potter stickers on them. Then you come here, and the attention to detail is incredible. Like for example, on the film sets, you’d knock on the wall and it’d be hollow, whereas here, it’s real.

What would you recommend to doing first?
JP: The Dragon’s Challenge is pretty fun it’s obviously the main ride. There are other great parts, but we made the mistake of doing them all at once.
OP: Yeah, we get to go to the front of the line, which is great in theory, but you get it done in like 20 or 30 minutes.
JP: Not great for the stomach.

What are some of your craziest fan encounters?
JP: The premiere in London was pretty crazy. People kind of saw it as an end to their childhood.
OP: Yeah we we’re kind of like, “It’s ok!”

What was it like to see your character die in the last film? Was it emotional?
JP: It wasn’t emotional because I filmed it. As I filmed it, I just kind of lied there and went to sleep. [Laughs].
OP: I think it was emotional for everyone else. The reaction really just kind of hit home for everyone.

Was there any death in the last one that was particularly hard for you to watch?
OP: I mean Snape’s death was really hard-hitting for a lot of people.

Hunger Games, another book series turned (soon-to-be) film is getting ready to hit theaters, and there have been a lot of comparisons to Harry Potter. Do you have any advice for the cast and the journey they’re about to embark on?
JP: Whatever you can do, do it. We definitely have the “You can sleep when you’re dead,” mentality. When we go on press tours, it very much just like “go here, do this, do that,” because it’s pretty unique.
OP: Just run with it and enjoy it.

Are there any moments from the books that you wish made it to the films?
OP: There’s a couple. Definitely the swamp scene from The Goblet of Fire.
JP: It’s hard to say, because even with the first one, if they put everything in the film it would be like seven hours long and that’s the shortest book of the series.

We’re sure there are some people who would sit down and watch the whole thing.
JP: I think there would be. [Laughs]

These films are pretty dark, what were some funny on set moments?
JP: I remember in The Order of the Phoenix, there’s a really serious scene and they’re getting reactions from about 20 people, and the camera pans down and ends on Rupert [Grint] and he just starts laughing.

Would you guys considering going to back to the red hair ever again?
JP and OP: No. [Laughs]
JP: It’s funny because when we first got the role, no one really believed that we did. It wasn’t until we kind of showed up with the red hair that people started to take us seriously.

In the trailer, Harry himself feels that since everyone’s bond on the films will come to an end that they will have to re-establish their personal relationships without the flicks as a focal point. Besides her performance as Hermione Granger, Emma will definitely leave something behind:

“I feel part of my soul, my whole being will always be in this place [Hogwarts].”

The trio also fear that they won’t be able to break away from their famous roles. Rupert noted that the eight HP films have taken almost half of his entire life to complete! Emma also adds that she feels as if people are waiting for her to “screw up”. The 21-year-old is on the right track. She has a small role in the upcoming biopic My Week With Marilyn and she’ll be starring in The Perks of Being A Wallflower out next year.

Seeing so, we decided to sit down with the hunky Brit to chat about his English charm and life beyond of the wizarding world.

Walk us through your last day of shooting for Harry Potter.

Mine wasn’t too bad. I think for those guys–Dan, Emma, and Rupert–they started when they were nine or ten so it had formed their entire life. I wasn’t there when they had their final wrap day so I didn’t get to see that—probably for the best though because I’d be very emotional! It was okay but it was sad. I’ve spent definitely a long time with that lot and they’re such beautiful people.

 How do you feel now that it’s over?

It was definitely very sad leaving but at the same time it was nice to see now how the actors go on and do different things. It’s nice to see people moving on as well and being allowed to show off their other talents as well. I was sad when I watched the final one. I was like, “Oh, so this is over. It’s an end of an era.” I can’t think of any other scenario where you have such a big franchise. I mean, you’ve got eight films that have been going for over a decade. It’s just so strange to see it end, I guess.

Do you still keep in touch with anyone from the films?

A little bit. I’ve been in America for a while so it’s been a little bit tough. I just did a movie with Bonnie Wright and we sort of hung out, which was very cool. I guess when I’m in England I’ll give the others a ring.

Not a lot of people know this but you actually hold a degree in neuroscience.

I managed to get an agent just as I was starting university so I was juggling doing neuroscience and running off and filming. Personally, it’s the best degree to study because the human brain is just fascinating.

You’re currently in A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song. Tell us a little bit about the project and what drew you to it.

It’s modern telling of Cinderella. I guess it’s a comedy, which is definitely something that draws me to a project. Also, I was able to sing in it as well which was kind of fun. It was my first time going into the studio, recording a song, and having my own song—which is very cool.

Were you always a musician?

I do play guitar and sing. I did concerts at school and it helped in the film. I’ve always sung and played but never professionally. It was nice to able to do that here.

What was the cast dynamic like?

We were just goofing around all the time and making jokes that are slightly inappropriate! I guess we’ve had a few interviews where Lucy [Hale] and I may have played a game where in the interview we would try to get a different word in. So, in the interview we would try to say “sunglasses” or “hat” and whoever got to say it first was the winner–that’s what we did and it was really funny.

Daniel Radcliffe gave an emotional goodbye speech, and afterwards you see him walk right over to Emma Watson and Rupert Grint and the three share a very teary group hug.

“I just want to say I love this place. This has been my life,” Dan says on set. “I don’t know what my day to day life consists of without you. All of you. I just want to say I’ve loved every minute and I thank you all very, very much for making that possible.”

“It’s been tough at times…but it’s never not been fun,” director David Yates states.
