Ozzy Osbourne‘s daughter expanded her résumé on Wednesday night at West Hollywood nightspot The Viper Room, making her debut with renowned burlesque troupe Pussycat Dolls. A small constellation of stars was in attendance for the event, including Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria-Parker, Nigel Lythgoe, Howie Mandel and Glee‘s Mark Salling.

NBC’s Deal Or No Deal host Howie Mandel was rushed to the hospital in Toronto last night with severe chest pains. TMZ reports that Mandel was found conscious in an elevator in at the Sheraton Hotel on Queen Street by police. Mandel was held overnight and being treated for an irregular heartbeat. Sources say that he wasn’t suffering from a heart attack, but from exhaustion.

Ex-Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day will appear on the cover of the March issue of Playboy. O’Day told Us that “I’m honored to be a part of the Playboy legacy and look forward to my March cover hitting newsstands on February 13.”

A Burbank judge has approved a restraining order for Jennifer Love Hewitt against a 62-year-old stalker. TMZ reports that David Nolte has sent Love Hewitt over 100 letters detailing graphic and violent sexual fantasies involving the Ghost Whisperer actress. Nolte is banned from being anywhere near Hewitt, as well as the Universal Studios lot where she tapes her show, and her mother’s house (where Nolte showed up last month).

It’s not NBC’s day. Law & Order SVU actress Mariska Hargitay was taken to the hospital for a collaspsed lung. “Mariska Hargitay has been sidelined with a pneumothorax (a partially collapsed lung),” her rep told People. TMZ reports that Hargitay also suffered the same problem over the holidays. Her rep says that she will not miss any episodes of her hit NBC show this season despite her medical issues.

Klum spoke to CNN about her upcoming hosting gig for this year’s Emmy awards with fellow reality-TV biggies Howie Mandel, Tom Bergeron, Jeff Probst and Ryan Seacrest.

According to Heidi, the most challenging—and satisfying—aspect will be the X factor involved in a live broadcast.

“The worst thing is that a lot of things can go wrong, but at the same time, that’s also maybe a good thing, because maybe you can use that to your advantage and make a joke out of it,” says Klum, who is also nominated for a statuette this year.

“I wouldn’t mind if one of the other guys would completely do some twisted thing on me and totally get me discombobulated and you kind of have to shift gears.”

Hmm; she wants a dude to do “some twisted thing on me”?

Sounds like the company she’s been keeping lately has been rubbing off on her. In every sense of the phrase.

When television hosting first began, only minor celebrities took on the role. The job has become much more desired in recent years, and has given many celebrities their fame.

Heidi Klum is America’s most beloved European from hosting Project Runway. Tom Bergeron started his hosting career on America’s Funniest Videos and is now well-loved on Dancing with the Stars. Ryan Seacrest has hosted himself into being one of the biggest sharks in show business. And everyone knows that Howie Mandel has germophobia after watching him shy away from handshakes on Deal Or No Deal.

According to executive producer for the television event, Ken Ehrlich: “They were excited by this. They got it, what a fresh idea this was and how this could be fun for them,” Ehrlich told the press.

Last year, Ryan Seacrest played host for the awards show, giving him a clear advantage over the four other nominees.

Even though their hosting won’t affect the outcome for the Reality TV Host category, since the votes will have already been tallied, it’s still fun to imagine it will. Especially, if the nominees are suddenly tasked with a swimsuit competition.

The smart person’s money would be on Heidi Klum.
