Ian Ziering and his wife gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday, Celebuzz can report exclusively.

And in another sweet surprise, the newest addition to the family was born on the same day as his 2-year-old daughter Mia Loren, who was brought into this world on April 25, 2011.

“It wasn’t planned,” a source tells CB! “It was just great timing.”

Erin was actually due May 1.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star’s wife of three years went into the hospital for the delivery a couple days ago, and the family is expected to leave with their new bundle of joy Friday.

Celebuzz was the first to report that Ian, 48, and Erin, who got married in May 2010, were expecting a baby girl.

“I feel blessed, having a family is something that I’ve always wanted,” the happy father told the PEOPLE in October 2012. “Having a second child is the realization of a dream come true.”

A call to Ziering’s rep was not returned by press time.

Ian Ziering, best known as the sexually aggressive Steve who wooed Claire for many seasons on Beverly Hills 90210, will be taking his hormones to Vegas for a guest stint at the celebrity-friendly Las Vegas Chippendales, according to TMZ. He’ll follow in the footsteps of Joey Lawrence, Jeff Timmons, Jake Pavelka and other aging stars beginning this June. TMZ adds he’ll be taking “most of it off,” which will mean nothing to you unless you’re a female over the age of 35.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and his wife Erin are not only going to be parents for the second time around, but they’re also welcoming another girl, Celebuzz can exclusively reveal.

“They are so excited,” a source said. “They’re telling all their friends they’re having another girl. Erin’s gushing about it, and they’ve already started decorating the nursery.”

The happy couple, who got married in May 2010, are already parents to 18-month-old daughter Mia Loren – and the entire brood may soon be making their reality TV debut.

“They’re in talks to be on the reality show Beverly Hills Nannies,” said the source. “Erin has already interviewed for it.”

Forty-eight-year-old Ziering,  also known for his stint on Dancing with the Stars, first revealed that he and Erin are expecting baby number two to PEOPLE. He told the mag, “I feel blessed, having a family is something that I’ve always wanted. Having a second child is the realization of a dream come true.”

The Ziering family’s next bundle of joy is due in May.

It definitely took some convincing to get the infamous Brenda Walsh, played by notoriously ill-tempered actress Shannen Doherty, to agree to star in the remake of Beverly Hills 90210, the ’90s classic series about privileged but queerly afflicted high schoolers.

Doherty is returning as the musical director at the high school attended by the fresh nubile cast. The on- and off-screen bitchery of the original series will definitely be the hardest aspect to recreate this time around.

There is hope that old habits will fall back into place. Some of the other original cast members are also returning. Jennie Garth and many in the Peach Pit gang were unsurprisingly able to clear their schedules for shooting.

It’s time for the newbies to step up and pick a spat with Shannen.

The original run of Beverly Hills, 90210 ended eight years ago. After almost two decades since the series first aired, the members of the cast have gone their seperate ways. Some made it far, while others merely faded.

Jennie Garth:

• Garth is reprising her role as “Kelly Taylor” in the 90210 spinoff.

Shannen Doherty:

• “Brenda Walsh” is also known as “Prue Halliwell,” the oldest of the three Charmed sisters. She left the series after three years.
• She was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine for drunk-driving charges in 2001. 
• She was a regular for two years on the show North Shore, appearing as “Alexandra Hudson.”
• She had two failed marriages, one to Ashley Hamilton and the other to Rick Salomon.  
• Doherty is reprising her role as “Brenda Walsh” in the 90210 spinoff.

Tori Spelling:

• “Donna Martin” has worked on several films and television shows, including Trick, The House of Yes, Scream 2, Scary Movie 2 and Smallville.
• She starred in the VH1 sitcom, So NoTORIous, which was a parody of herself.
• She has a son, Liam Aaron, and a daughter, Stella Doreen, with husband Dean McDermott.
• Her father, Aaron Spelling, died in 2006. He was the producer of Beverly Hills, 90210.
• Her dog, Mimi La Rue, died in 2008. 
• Spelling is reprising her role as “Kelly Taylor” in the 90210 spinoff.
  

Jason Priestley:

• “Brandon Walsh” went on to join the cast of shows and films such as Tru Calling, Love Monkey, What I Like About You, Without a Trace, Love and Death on Long Island and Side Order of Life.
• He was injured in, but recovered from, a race car driving crash in 2002, when he hit the wall at 180 miles per hour.
• He became a joint owner of a new IndyCar Series racing team, and entered in the Indianapolis 500 earlier this year.
• He married Naomi Lowde-Priestley in 2005, and the couple became parents in July 2007 when their daughter Ava was born.

Ian Ziering:

• “Steve Sanders” produced, directed and starred in the film, Man vs. Monday, which won the 2006 Audience Choice Award.
• He also won the 2006 Best Actor Award for his role as “Francis” in Stripped Down. 
• He has appeared in television shows such as JAG, What I Like About You, The Doctors and Guiding Light.
• He competed in season four of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and finished in 4th place with partner Cheryl Burke.

Brian Austin Green
