Diamonds really are a girl’s best friend. And at this year’s Academy Awards, an array of A-list actresses proved it, with these leading ladies donning nearly $14 million in jewels.

Jessica Chastain, nominee for Best Actress in Zero Dark Thirty, wore $3 million worth of Harry Winston jewelry, including a diamond “Carpet” bracelet and diamond emerald cut drop earrings, all set in platinum.

Jennifer Garner came in a close second wearing $2.5 million worth of darkened platinum and diamonds by Neil Lane, including a whopping 200-carat necklace. Ben Affleck‘s beautiful wife also adorned her ears and wrists in darkened platinum and diamonds.

Best Actress nominee for The Impossible Naomi Watts may have turned heads in Armani Prive, but her jewelry stole the show: She donned 20-carat Neil Lane platinum and diamond drop earrings and a platinum and diamond bracelet, worth a whopping $1.5 million.

Zoe Saldana was also part of the millionaires’ club, donning Neil Lane platinum and diamond chandelier earrings with pearls and diamond rings totaling 9 carats. In all, her extravagant extras broke the bank at $1 million.

Charlize Theron, in Christian Dior couture, wore $1.6 million in Harry Winston earrings alone. The special sparklers — platinum and diamond studs — total 5 carats each.

She also shined in a vintage 1959 platinum “Lattice” bracelet (58.07 carats), a vintage 1959 platinum “Cluster” bracelet (57.30 carats), a platinum and diamond marquise “Lattice” bracelet, and a platinum and marquise cut diamond ring.

Adele accented her all-black ensemble with $1 million in Harry Winston diamond clusters hanging from her ears and a platinum and diamond ring.

Nominee for Best Supporting Actress in Silver Linings Playbook Jacki Weaver admitted the process it took to get beautified on Hollywood’s biggest night took three hours, but there was one part that made it all worth it. She got to don $2 million – and 30 carats! — in diamonds.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, in gold Zuhair Murad, wore over $1 million and over 200 carats of custom Lorraine Schwartz earth tone-colored natural diamonds.
