If you were as nervous as we were when seeing this pic, fear not — it’s just a bald cap! On a recent episode of Glee, the 25-year-old crooner switched places with Mark Salling‘s character Puck, who is known for his mohawk, and had to undergo this interesting transformation.

Darren’s Glee co-star Chord Overstreet tweeted this behind the scenes pic and teased:

Glee‘s season finale might have already aired, but check out a behind the scenes look below!

In a recent interview with MTV, it was brought up that Zac Efron‘s name had been tossed around to play Finnick Odair, easily one of the most coveted parts for CF, and the 24-year-old High School Musical star said he knew nothing about a deal being made. However, he did mention that he had read the first book and was looking forward to seeing Hunger Games in theaters.

Sure, filming for Catching Fire likely won’t start until the end of summer, and we won’t even see it hit the big screen until November 2013, but that doesn’t mean we can start doing some casting on our own! Celebuzz asked our Facebook readers who they’d like to see take on the role of Finnick, and we got some great answers!

If you haven’t read Catching Fire or have no idea who Finnick Odair is let us break it down for you:

Finnick is a handsome young man from District 4 who won the 65th annual Hunger Games when he was only 14 years old, which makes him about 24 when Catching Fire takes place. He is extremely confident and has a reputation for being quite the ladies man, and mentions his lovers pay him in “secrets.” Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) comes across him when (spoiler alert!) they must fight against each other in the Quarter Quell, which pits former 24 victors against each other to celebrate the Hunger Games’ 75th anniversary.

Source Code star Jake Gyllenhaal attended a Celebration of Paul Newman’s Dream event, which benefits the SeriousFun Children’s Network, in NYC on Monday evening. Sporting some scruff, the 31-year-old star classed things up in a casual suit.

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Jake, so what is he up to these days?

Later this year, you can catch JG in End of Watch, where he famously shaved his head bald. Out in September of this year, he’ll play a cop alongside Ugly Betty star America Ferrera. The drama, “centered on the long-term friendship and partnership between two cops,” also stars Twilight‘s Anna Kendrick.

According to Perez Hilton, the country cutie has been spending lots of time with Will Anderson from the band Parachute. They were recently seen on a coffee run in Nashville (Will’s in the sunglasses in the above photo), and when Tay is around, they hang out about “three to four times” a week. Also, the two even posted the same photos to their Instagram accounts! While much of this evidence hardly a couple makes, there is always the possibility that these two friends could turn into something more.

While enjoying the day off from shooting (he’s currently filming End of Watch in LA), he took man’s best friend for a hike — his dog Atticus!

Yesterday, Jake had another companion at his side, actress Rashida Jones. The two were spotted heading to lunch at the trendy cafe Gratitude in Los Angeles. The sighting immediately started speculation that they’re an item, but a source tells Gossip Cop that they are “nothing more than just good friends.”

Both stars seemed rather comfortable together as Rashida was in a pair of short-shorts and plaid shirt, while Jake G. sported a pair of cargo shorts and a white T-shirt. 

While in the restaurant, the two smiled and joked as they sat side by side. According to the London Daily Mail, Jake, 30, and Rashida, 35, met in January following the actor’s split from Taylor Swift.

Jake’s been prepping for this film for a while. He’s witnessed a gang shooting when he went on one of his ride-alongs, and earlier in the month, Jake was also spotted shooting scenes with Michael Pena in South Central LA. Back in July, he debuted his new bald look that he got especially for the movie. Since filming, he’s been spotted heading for an intense workout!

End of Watch is due out in 2012 and also stars Twilight’s Anna Kendrick.
