Mad Men star January Jones stepped out in what appears to be quite the fashion oops! On Thursday night, the blonde bombshell hit up the La Revolution Bleue screening at the Paris Theatre in NYC, and turned heads with her peculiar dress.

The 34-year-old actress and new mama wore a very distracting dress by designer Mary Katrantzou from the Fall 2012 collection.

Was this a hit or a miss?

The printed peplum style drew a fine line between fashionable and fashion fax pas. The ensemble also hid and overwhelmed the starlet’s very slender figure.

January Jones may be a single mom, but her baby boy Xander has some famous male influences in his life. The X-Men mom, 34, and her son lounged poolside in Topanga Canyon, Calif. on Sunday along with January’s famous friends Justin Bartha, Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger (not pictured).

Both The Hangover actor, 33, and Dawson’s Creek star, 33, played in the pool with the baby boy, who was dressed in a pair of adorable swimtrunks. Meanwhile, Mad Men beauty January just dipped her legs in the water and shielded the sun with a hat and sundress.

The celebrity crew, which also included one of January’s gal pals and an adorable pooch, were all smiles as they played with the baby.

January, who has yet to reveal the father of Xander, has opened up about being a new mom.

“I am enjoying [motherhood.] I adore it,” she told Access Hollywood this past March. “[Xander] is awesome.”

Parenting Expert on Celeb Baby Trends: Placenta Eating, Mouth-Feeding & Prolonged Breast Weaning

Celebrity moms are taking a bashing from critics after going public with some less-than usual parenting practices — like eating their own placenta.

Celebuzz parenting expert Dr. Michelle Golland (@DoctorMG) says the practice is actually beneficial! What the what?!? Read on to find out why January Jones, Mayim Bialik and Alicia Silverstone may be leading the charge to redefine baby care!

Mayim — who currently stars on The Big Bang Theory – still breast feeds her 3-year-old.

“Different kids have different needs,” Dr. Golland says. She adds that most babies should start on some kind of solid food by 9-12 months, but that it’s not unusual to continue breast feeding until 24 months. Continuing to breast feed after that is up to the mother and the baby.

Alicia feeds her child out of her own mouth, rather than mashed baby food.

“At first blush of it, we’re horrified. We’re like ‘oh my God, that’s so gross,’” she adds. “What’s funny is that … it actually makes sense. It could help the child transfer from being breast fed to eating solid food. My own son was a challenged eater and did not transition well. If that would have made it easier, I think I would have tried it as a mom. But there is the medical concern around a mouth — they can carry bad things. It’s something that you wouldn’t want to do long term, but I can see a potential benefit.”

January Jones consumed her own placenta.

“I actually wish I’d know about that, because I would have done it,” she says. “I wouldn’t want to physically eat it, like chew it with A1 sauce. She turned hers into pill form. The fact is, we know that it is a healthy thing to do. We know a lot more now, and we do things — like freezing stem cells after birth — that can save the child’s life.”

Most importantly, she says, “nobody is telling anybody what they should or shouldn’t do. Ultimately, you want to create independent children. The goal … is to create strong bonds with the child. This is about choice. It’s about what works for you as a family.”

Mad Men star January Jones showed off a fuller figure on her hit TV show Sunday night, and although it was just cosmetic, it has people talking. The petite blonde star wore a fat suit on her hit series, and January, 34, certainly is not the first celebrity to pack on the pounds artificially.

January Jones Ditches Slim Figure For Fat Suit on ‘Mad Men’ (PHOTO/VIDEO)

After being completely absent from the show’s two-hour premiere, January Jones returned to Mad Men last night looking a heckuva lot different than she normally does.

The 34-year-old stunner appeared to pack on a fat suit and heavy makeup (no pun intended) for the episode – presumably as an attempt to conceal her real-life pregnancy.

But while the physical transformation was initially jarring, it led to a rather somber storyline for her character, Betty Francis, who, in the wake of her divorce from Don Draper (Jon Hamm) and new marriage to Henry, finds herself incredibly lonely and depressed.

Even worse, (SPOILER ALERT) a doctor discovers that Betty has a lump on her thyroid, sinking her into a deeper state of depression. (The tumor later turns out to be benign.)

Given the many ways in which shows try to hide an actress’ pregnancy (on Sex and the City, the show simply had Sarah Jessica Parker wear baggier clothes in season 5), we’re not sure if having Betty pack on the pounds was the best route to take, even if it did show a softer side to her notoriously stern character.

We can’t think of a better way to start the morning than Don Draper himself ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange!

Jon Hamm was joined by his Mad Men cast members Christina Hendricks, Kiernan Shipka, January Jones and John Slattery to kick off this morning’s trading on Wall Street by ringing the bell.

Jon, who plays a very dapper executive himself on the AMC show, fit right in with the men in suits surrounding him.

The wait is almost over for the return of Mad Men! The cast and crew have been on a nearly 18-month hiatus and fans can’t wait to see the office drama unfold and get the answers to season four’s juiciest cliffhangers!

It’s no secret that January Jones is one of Hollywood’s biggest fashion risk-takers, but what is one item that she is loving right now?

Celebuzz chatted with the Mad Men star at the show’s premiere party in Hollywood this past week, and asked her what her style must have is.

Any guesses as to what it could be?

It’s leather! She told us, “I’ve been looking at all the shows, but right now I’m really into leather. Leather pants, I know it’s probably not best for spring [laughs].”

Mad Men beauty January Jones arrived in style at JFK airport on Saturday, where she held onto her 6-month-old son Xander as she made her way past cameras.

January has been busy promoting the upcoming -not to mention long-awaited – fifth season of Mad Men, which (finally!) kicks off this Sunday, March 25, at 9PM. Celebuzz was on the scene at the season 5 premiere last week in LA, where we talked to stars Jon Hamm and more about what fans can expect from the show. Read more about it here!

January gave birth to Xander Dane Jones on Sept. 13, 2011. Xander’s father has yet to be named.

January Jones’ Sexy Style Showdown: Cutout Dresses (POLL)

January Jones loves a sexy (and sometimes risky) style.

Just last night the Mad Men actress stepped out in a black and white Roland Mouret dress that had cutouts in all the right places for the AMC show’s premiere party. She paired the look with Cartier earrings.

But this style reminded us of her red dress that had everyone talking after the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards in January 2011.

The actress, 34, sometimes better known as Betty Draper, stepped out in a SUPER sexy Versace gown that year that featured, yet again, strategically placed cutouts.

January Jones, Jon Hamm Arrive in Style At ‘Mad Men’ Season 5 Premiere (PHOTOS)

Mad Men is back! Well, almost, anyway.

The stars of the Emmy-winning AMC series arrived in Hollywood last night for the show’s long-awaited season 5 premiere, held at the famous ArcLight theater.

Naturally, all eyes were on the show’s biggest A-listers, January Jones and Jon Hamm, who looked hotter than ever. January wore a top and skirt by Roland Mouret, while Jon Hamm looked dapper as usual in a Don Draper-esque suit. (His partner, Friends With Kids star-writer Jennifer Westfeldt, wore a green dress by Kate Spade New York.)

Mad Men returns with a two-hour premiere on March 25.

Don & Betty Draper Reunite! ‘Mad Men’ Stars Hit Up PaleyFest (PHOTOS)

We still have a few more weeks before we see Don Draper and his ex Betty grace the small screen, but Mad Men costars January Jones and Jon Hamm hit the red carpet at the PaleyFest 2012 Tuesday night to get us even more amped up for the big premiere!

Jan Jones stepped out in a baby blue sequin Jenny Packham dress, while Jon, 41, channeled his character’s style in a sleek gray suit. However, unlike their demure roles in Mad Men, the actors were all smiles for the cameras.

January is a new mom to Xander and Jon commented on his costar’s new parental role, telling USA Today:

“January is learning a lot about what [motherhood is] all about and God bless her, man. … She had a baby [Xander] and he’s a cute baby. She’s doing it by herself. And you just go, ‘Good for you.’ She’s a great gal. I wish her the best of luck there.”

The actor added, “I know from being raised by a single mom how hard it is. [But] she’s got a great family, mom and dad and two sisters.”

After over a year of waiting for the show’s return, the AMC stars will return March 25. Will you be watching Mad Men, or was it too long of a wait?

The Mad Men starlet was spotted out and about in a casual but very bright style. She paired pink jeans with a white tee and red cardigan sweater.

The Mad Men beauty was all smiles as she made her way past the paparazzi, and looked pretty adorable in a blue t-shirt and full-length purple buttondown skirt. Clearly, she’s made vast improvements since her, uh, outfit at the Oscars.

Baby Xander is growing up so fast!

January Jones bonded with her four-month-old son, as she ran errands and stopped by Jamba Juice in Los Angeles. The Mad Men actress protectively cradled her little man who looked adorable in a white top and green trousers, paired with a bib and socks.

January showed off her post-pregnancy figure in a pair of tight jeans and a blue and white striped long-sleeve shirt. The 34-year-old actress gave birth to her first child last September and has not revealed the identity of her son’s father.

She’s back to work on the set of Mad Men, which will return for season 5 with a two-hour episode airing March 25.

January recently told E! News that the most difficult part of playing Betty Draper has been fans’ inability to separate her from the character. “I find it really interesting that people think that like in seasons three and four, she’s become unlikable because she’s become more independent. Everybody liked Betty when she was like in a living hell in season one and two, and now they hate her,” she said.

January added: “I think it’s funny that it carries over into my life, my actual life, when [showrunner] Matt [Weiner] writes a storyline that Betty’s unlikable, all of a sudden everybody hates me. I hope she gets a little more well received.”

The actress and baby Xander were seen coming out of an office building in Los Angeles, January dressed casually in jeans and a white blouse while her newborn was wrapped in a white onesie.

January has also returned to work since welcoming her new son.

While on the Mad Men set, January looked to be sporting a fake bump while dressed in her ’50s fashion.

Mad Men star January Jones was seen for the first time since giving birth to her son Xander (born September 13), on Tuesday and looked happy and healthy as she doted on the little one in Santa Monica.

January Jones is officially a mommy!

The 33-year-old Mad Men actress welcomed a healthy baby boy on Tuesday, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly. Back in April, JanJo shocked fans when she confirmed fans that she was pregnant, but would not reveal the identity of the father.

We have a feeling she won’t be attending Sunday’s Emmys ceremony!

January plays Betty Draper on the hit AMC show Mad Men, which is nominated for a slew of Emmys.

All throughout her pregnancy, January was very serious about exercise, and went to yoga nearly every day!
