With an estimated fortune of $200 million Britney Spears has more money than her new boyfriend David Lucado could ever dream about.

But despite the fact that she’s an international superstar and he’s just a humble legal assistant, his uncle believes the pair is actually well suited.

“Listen, David was raised on a farm in Virginia and Britney is from the south, so I think that they probably have a lot in common,” Thomas Lucado told Celebuzz.

“I know Britney has had some hard times, but I read recently that she went to church with her family for Easter Sunday and she shops at normal supermarkets too.”

Despite finding fame and fortune, the Louisiana-born songbird has not always had the best of luck with the opposite sex.

The mom-of -two split up with her fiancé Jason Trawick in January, before enduring two failed marriages with Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline.

But it looks like she might have a change of luck with the hunky 27-year-old.

The pair went public after going on a Valentine’s Day date to a sushi restaurant and David taught her some golf lessons — and since then their relationship has taken off.

They’ve been photographed walking hand-in-hand around her Calabasas, Calif. neighborhood and even took their love on the road during a trip to Las Vegas with her manager Larry Rudolph.

And now there are rumors that the pair has been spending more time together at the “Scream & Shout” singer’s massive $8.5 million Thousand Oaks, Calif. estate in California.

Even though there’s a sizable difference in their bank accounts, Thomas isn’t surprised that the superstar has fallen hard for his handsome nephew.

“David is a great guy, he is humble and very down-to-earth,” he said. “He’s a very easy-going and likeable person who has no trouble making new friends.

“He was an ‘A’ student and loved playing golf and was also a great debater at high school. My nephew is a wonderful and smart guy.”

Thomas is looking forward to the day that his nephew brings his pop star girlfriend to meet his family who call Appomattox, Virginia, home.

Although he readily admits that his modest home is a million miles away from the luxurious surroundings that Brit has become accustomed to back in California.

“We are pretty much out in the sticks here and I guess Britney and her team of stylists and hairdressers would have to travel quite a ways to get their supplies, but we would love to met her all the same!” he joked.

Despite a four-month delay, a time slot change and the loss of the series creator, NBC’s Community shows no signs of slowing down storywise.

Community entered its fourth season celebrating… literally. With numerous holiday episodes airing in February and March instead of their intended October and November air dates, the timing might be off but the comedy is definitely not.

On Tuesday, executive producers Moses Port, David Guarascio, Tristim Shapeerp and Russ Krasnoff and the comedy’s cast attended PaleyFest 2013 at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

Here are four things they said we should expect this season:

1. The guest stars. Season 4 has an impressive list of guest stars ranging from Eugene Levy to Jason Alexander. However, when asked who they most enjoyed working with, almost every castmember had something amazing to say about legendary actor James Brolin. He plays a very anticipated role of Jeff’s father, who abandoned him when he was a child, on Thursday’s episode.

Joel McHale (who plays Jeff Winger) told Celebuzz, “James Brolin knocks it out of the park, playing my father. He has this ability to make girls of all ages swoon and men instantly jealous.”

Jeff’s “daddy issues” has been a recurring theme on the past three seasons of the show, and after some major interfering; Britta (Gillian Jacobs) has found a way to bring them together. This episode is going to be a must see, especially because Workaholics star Andy DeVine also guest stars as Jeff’s stepbrother.

2. The Freaky Friday episode. Episode 10 is an extra-special episode, because it was written by a member of the cast. Jim Rash, who stars as the flamboyant and loveable Dean Pelton, wrote the episode that McHale calls “one of the best we’ve ever done.” The episode is said to resemble Freaky Friday, but with a twist.

When asked, Dani Pudi, who plays fan favorite Abed Nadir, said Episode 10 is what he is most excited about this season. “The first thing I am most excited about is that it’s Jim’s episode. For us to see someone who is part of the study group… someone that has more and more dresses than anybody, including women, to work with him as a writer, is awesome. I felt like there was a different energy that week. It was super fun. And the episode is just super fun, very much like a good old fashion community episode with some good Troy, [Donald Glover] and Abed weird-ness, which is something I love.”

Rash also won an Oscar in 2012 for co-writing the screenplay adaptation of the feature film, The Descendants.

3.  There will be puppets. Community is known for its creative comedy, and this season is no exception. This April, the Community cast will take on puppet form on an episode entitled “Intro to Felt Surrogacy.” And the PaleyFest audience got a first look the puppet study group, as well. Castmember Yvette Nicole Brown, who plays the lovable house mom Shirley Bennett, could hardly contain her excitement as she told Celebuzz, “Its my favorite thing that’s happened, right next to Malcolm- Jamal Warner playing my husband.”

Puppets are not the only exciting aspect of this episode. Seinfeld legend, Jason Alexander will also guest star on the episode.

4. Possible Graduation Plans. Typically, college students graduate with a degree after four years. However, we all know Greendale community college is anything but typical. When asked if any members of the study group would be graduating this season, EP Guarascio said, “We will see how it goes. You know, everyone is at their own pace, like is often the case with community college. So, stay tuned.”

Although the entire cast is hoping for a fifth season, producers and cast members alike are still in the dark about whether or not NBC will pick it up for another year.

Britney Spears would be a happily married woman if only she’d stayed with her first husband — aka the one who lasted 55 hours. At least, that’s what Jason Alexander‘s father believes.

“Who knows what their lives could have turned into together? I bet for Britney, it would have been a lot less drama in her life for the last eight years,” Denny Alexander told Celebuzz.

In one of Tinseltown’s most short-lived marriages, Denny’s son famously got to be Mr. Britney Spears, albeit briefly, after a Las Vegas ceremony in Jan. 2004. Just 55 hours later, the singer had the marriage annulled.

Now Jason’s dad says he only wishes Spears’ handlers had left the childhood friends-turned-lovers alone to figure out their own future.

“If no one got involved and interfered, I have a feeling they would have played it right together,” Denny said. ”They should have just let them two kids alone when they got married.”

Since calling it quits with her first hubby, Spears has been unlucky in love. In September 2004, the 31-year-old married back-up dancer Kevin Federline; they divorced just two years later and currently share custody of their two children, Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden James, 6.

After a well-publicized breakdown — during which she shaved her head and attacked paparazzi with an umbrella in 2007 — the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer seemed to get back on track, hooking up with William Morris Endeavor agent Jason Trawick in 2009. The two were  engaged in Las Vegas in Dec. 2011, but called it off on Jan. 11.

The news came as a surprise to fans — but not to the Alexander clan.

Said Denny: “Jason told me, “I know Britney, and I knew that wasn’t going to last.”

In the wake of the tragic Aurora, Colorado, mass shooting at a Dark Knight Rises midnight showing, the highly-contentious matter of gun control has hit American consciousness once again.

Elected officials and activists alike have been broadcasting their highly-politicized stance on bearing arms — and now Hollywood is jumping on the bandwagon.

Rapper Ice-T has shared pro-gun sentiments, saying “United States is based on guns,” on London’s Chanel 4. “The right to bear arms is because that’s the last form of defense against tyranny,” he reasoned. “Not to hunt. It’s to protect yourself from the police.”

“And do you see any link between that and this sort of instance?” the host prompted, referring to suspected gunman James Holmes‘ indiscriminate massacre of moviegoers.

“If somebody wants to kill people, they don’t need a gun to do it,” Ice-T retorted. “You can strap explosives on your body. They do that all the time.”

But not everyone in Hollywood falls on the support side of the heated debate.

Following in the footsteps of left-leaning New York City Major Michael Bloomberg, Jason Alexander bemoaned lax gun control laws following the massacre that left 12 dead and 58 injured. Alexander first tweeted his horror at the early Friday morning incident: “More innocent lives taken. Peace and prayers to the families.”

The Seinfeld actor then questioned the reason for making militarized accessories, like the high-capacity ammunition magazines allegedly used by Holmes, available to the masses.

“I cannot understand support for legality of the kind of weapon in this massacre,” Alexander tweeted. “It’s a military weapon. Why should it be in non- mil hands?”

That statement sent off a fiery debate, with many tweeting support and hate of Alexander. The actor clarified his thoughts in a extended tweet.

“Clearly, the angry, threatened and threatening, hostile comments are coming from gun owners and gun advocates,” he wrote. “Despite these massacres recurring and despite the 100,000 Americans that die every year due to domestic gun violence – these people see no value to even considering some kind of control as to what kinds of weapons are put in civilian hands.”

“Military weapons … belong in accountable hands, controlled hands and trained hands,” he explained. “They should not be in the hands of private citizens to be used against police, neighborhood intruders or people who don’t agree with you. These are the weapons that maniacs acquire to wreak murder and mayhem on innocents. They are not the same as handguns to help homeowners protect themselves from intruders. They are not the same as hunting rifles or sporting rifles. These weapons are designed for harm and death on big scales.”

Kim Ledger, the father of Heath Ledger who famously starred as The Joker in Dark Knight, was of the same mind. “It’s terrible — the whole circumstances,” he told the Herald Sun. “It’s diabolical. I am appalled.”

And instead of blaming Batman or pop culture as the catalyst, the late actor’s father thinks this tragedy to shift the spotlight to America’s gun control laws. “I think what America should be doing is restricting the availability of ammunition or revisiting their gun laws,” he said.

Teen bride Courtney Stodden and her 51-year-old hubby Doug Hutchison have made the rounds on the daytime talk shows defending their love, yet they’re willing to make a little fun of themselves. 

In a new Funny or Die skit, the couple makes an appearance on The Donny Clay Show, a fictional self-help series hosted by “lifecoach” Donny Clay, aka Jason Alexander. As ever, Court shows off her bikini body, while Doug gets a face full of Alexander palm!

Things turn awkward and inappropriate as Jason sets up exercises to “help them fortify their relationship.” The exercises are quickly revealed to be thinly veiled attempts to get physical with the couple — in very different ways. As he uses a so-called phone app to test the “quality of her heart,” essentially feelings up the 17-year-old Courtney, while later slapping Doug in the face. 

Since finding fame with their controversial union, Courtney has become a Twitter star with over 80,000 followers. She’s even started a new photo meme, “floor flashing,” in which the subject strikes a sexy pose while laying on the floor.
