Hollywood loves Lifetime!

As previously reported, Rob Lowe is the latest celeb slated to appear in a movie for network, playing lawyer Jeff Ashton in the upcoming Prosecuting Casey Anthony movie. This will be the second time the 40-year-old will tackle a real-life character since his much talked about role in Drew Peterson: Untouchable.

However, Lowe’s not the only celeb who’ve starred in Lifetime dramas. From The OC‘s Mischa Barton to 90210 resident Tori Spelling, more and more Hollywood stars have hopped onto the TV movie bandwagon — even Lindsay Lohan is set to play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming flick!

Hayden, 22, took in some tennis this past weekend in Hawaii with her New York Jets beau Scotty McKnight, 24, though it may have been hard for the athlete to focus with the Heroes actress sporting a dark string bikini.

Jennifer Love, 33, made her match a bit more interesting by not only wearing a skimpy black swimsuit, but also working a pair of sky-high wedges. Back in August 2009, The Client List actress took in some tennis with her then boyfriend and Ghost Whisperer costar Jamie Kennedy, 41.

The musician just announced he’s single less than a week ago, and the women are already lining up to date the Maroon 5 rocker, 33. Following his breakup from Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna, even Jennifer Love Hewitt, 33, admitted that she’d like to be considered for a date with The Voice team leader. But is this a good match?

Psychologist and relationship expert Dr. Michelle Golland exclusively gave Celebuzz her professional opinion about this possible celebrity couple, and what sort of woman would be good for Adam.

“Jennifer’s success in its own right does make [her and Adam] a good match,” Dr. Golland admitted. However, she adds, “But given her somewhat tumultuous relationship track record, she might be too unstable emotionally for him.”

The relationship expert advises that Adam needs a “confident and creative woman who is able to have a successful and independent career.” Though she sees JLove as a suitable choice for the rock star, Dr. Golland has another celebrity in mind for the eligible bachelor.

“Amanda Seyfried could be a good love match,” she advises. “Given his past, he likes beautiful blondes. Amanda, 26, is smart, savvy and successful in her career, and her strong personality coupled with her outgoing nature would be a good match to his more introverted personality.”

If sex sells, then Jennifer Love Hewitt is in the right line of business! The 33-year-old brunette beauty has a provocative new series The Client List, in which she plays a single mom who makes ends meet by giving erotic massages. Hey, a girl’s gotta eat!

Naturally, the show has prompted some controversy. Jennifer explained her position during a press conference call, saying that the issue is a realistic one given the state of the economy.

“There’s been a lot of trouble out there,” she says. “I read a stat maybe like a year and a half ago that more women than ever found themselves in these positions — mostly phone sex and things like that — to help pay bills.”

While the subject matter is racy, it’s not definitely not representative of the massage industry at large — which she acknowledges. “I think from the word go, it’s a television series, so I don’t think anybody that’s watching it or turning it on is expecting me to keep the logistics of giving a proper massage,” she says lightheartedly. “I get massages all the time. I think it’s important for people to understand, and they will when they see the series, that we also give legitimate massages at the spa, so it’s not all happy endings. There is a client list and those people and those people only get extras. The rest of the people are there for real massages, so we do represent both sides of them.”

Rather than focus on the sexual aspects of her character, her biggest challenge was learning how to be a single mom! “I know what people are talking about is this sort of happy ending aspect of the show and everything,” she explains. “For me, the part that I did more research on was being a single mom — playing a Texas woman in economic struggles, somebody who emotionally has to carry all of these secrets and all of this loneliness, and all of the stuff that she struggles with emotionally in the series.”

The hardest part of filming the series? “Not eating pasta because I’m in lingerie all the time! I miss pasta so much. Probably my biggest challenge is not eating all the food that I want to eat sometimes,” she says.

Even though she’s comfortable baring her body in those skimpy outfits, doing the series on a cable network with nudity was not something she’d consider, making Lifetime the perfect network to call home.

“I wouldn’t have done nudity,” she adds. “That’s not something that I feel particularly comfortable with. I also think that it’s sexier not to show everything. I feel that people’s imaginations can do way more.”

As for her own dating life, “The men in my life are our crew members and the actors that I work with like on the massage table,” she says. “They’re pretty happy about it because they’re usually getting massaged. My one male dog is very jealous, because I’m gone a lot with the hours.”

If you’re unfamilar with this trend, J. Love explains, “Vagazzaling is where you stick Swarovski crystals on the female area to add a little glitz and glamour. I actually named it that because it’s like BeDazzling for your hoo-ha.” Thanks for clearing that up Jen!

The series, titled The Client List, is an expansion of the TV movie of the same name, in which JLH played a woman who opens up call-girl service disguised as a massage parlor after her husband desserts her.

Well, based on this new promo for the series, the show is going to be – how do we put this lightly? – seriously hot. In it, JLH takes on ‘Big Spender’ from Sweet Charity, during which she shows off her cleavage and pays an homage of sorts to ‘Roxie’ from Chicago. Apparently, she really likes Bob Fosse.

After all the holiday celebrations, Jennifer Love Hewitt needed some much needed retail therapy. The Client List actress, who is currently in New York, stopped into DIGS’ new downtown flagship store in SoHo and spent hours shopping all the latest trends.

Unsure of what all to buy, J-Love did a mini-fashion show, taking photos of herself in all the outfits. Looking fit and fashionable, she combed the racks and trying on everything from a trench coat with faux leather trim and sleeves, a navy cape with ruffled neck and hem and even a Parisian cashmere beret.

Following the outing, J-Love went straight to Twitter to gush about the shopping trip:

“Just went on a huge shopping spree at DIGS on Lafayette in soho! Amazing stuff. So in love! Everyone go!”

‘Bachelor’ Ben Flajnik Dishes on Date with Jennifer Love Hewitt

Remember when the interwebs were buzzing with rumors of a Jennifer Love Hewitt hookup with Ben Flajnik? Toes true, says The Bachelor himself, although it didn’t work out for them.

During a conference call with USA Today, Ben says they did go on a date and that she’s a nice girl…but there’s a but.

“She reached out and wanted to come up to the winery, which she did,” he says. “We went out to dinner and just kind of chatted about life and the experience. She’s a nice girl, but I wasn’t — it was right in the middle of the time when I was deciding to be the Bachelor. When this is all said and done, ending up with a Hollywood celebrity is not something that I want.”

As a reality star, we hope Ben doesn’t find the same sort of reaction to his celebrity status!

As for J.Love, she’s found a man, even walking the red carpet with her new boyfriend Jarod Einsohn, who has starred in films like Eagle Eye and Hurricane Season. The two have been casually dating since August.
